When nineteen year old Cody Bradbury gets his hands on an invitation to the hottest party of the year at The Casbah, an exclusive gay men's club owned by his uncle, he doesn't plan to let anything stand in his way of attending. With a stolen invitation, fake identification, and a hastily thrown together costume, Cody sneaks into the club during its annual Halloween bash with the intention of checking out the action and possibly losing his long-despised cherry.
He can't believe his luck when Dante Santiago comes on to him. He's had a hard-on for his uncle's friend and employee, Dante, ever since he realized what his dick was good for. He's so enamored of the older man that he doesn't think twice when Dante starts referring to him as 'pretty boy', instead of by his given name.
Between his fears for his job and his stubborn certainty Cody can't possibly be the bottom he wants, Dante's giving him the cold shoulder. He knows Dante wants his body, but Cody wants his heart. Is there any chance the older man might want more than an orgasm? There's only one way to find out, and Cody plans to make it a night neither of them will ever forget.

I really enjoy reading May/December romances. I don't know why, but I always seem to seek them out. There is something about having a more experienced hero and a hero (or heroine) not quite so experienced that keeps me glued to the page.
Cody is tired of people not taking him seriously. Even his beloved Uncle still refuses to see that he is a man and not a boy. When Cody asks his Uncle is he can attend the Halloween Pary at the Casbah, a very private gentleman's club his Uncle owns...his Uncle refuses for him to go, insisting that Cody is too young to attend (even though Cody is of age to go). Cody reluctantly agrees, but when he finds an invitation to the exclusive party he decides to go in disguise...after all it is a Halloween party.
Dante Santiago runs the Casbah. He is sexy (see cover)smart, and wickedly handsome. The Halloween Party is always a huge hit at the Casbah and Dante even dresses for the occasion himself... this year as a fallen Angel. Dante has a reputation as being a man's man. He has no desire to get involved in a relationship with anyone. He likes his free spirited life, with nameless men and one night stands...but when he sees a mysterious young man dressed up in a skimpy black costume, he is immediately attracted and drawn to him.
Cody can't believe his luck. Not only is Dante interested in him, but being with Dante can fulfill all of his fantasies he has had about the sexy older man. Cody knows that Dante has no idea who he is. Dante has always thought of the younger Cody as more of a spoiled child, and never really tried to see who Cody is on the inside.
When Cody's identity is revealed, Dante is furious and amazed. Seeing Cody as a man for the first time has stirred up thoughts and feelings he didn't think was possible.
I loved watching Dante falling for Cody. (the bigger they are the harder they fall) He doesn't go down very easily, and is still leary at the end of the book, but Cody is a man that doesn't give up easily, and fights for what he wants and believes in.
I loved this book! I am hoping that maybe one day we find out how Dante and Cody make their relationship work...maybe we'll have a sequel? (I am keeping my fingers crossed)
The May/December romance between Dante, and the much younger Cody, had me hooked from the first word. I really liked them together. They fit somehow. I am looking forward to reading the continuation of their relationship in the next book in this series.
This was my 1st book by Amanda Young. I liked her writing, but the story was too short. The age difference between Dante and Cody bothered me, especially because Dante had slept with Cody's uncle a time or two in their misspent youth. Considering Cody's uncle had raised Cody since childhood, I couldn't help feeling a little uncomfortable with the situation. Despite that, I rooted for Dante and Cody and intend to read the sequel, Reckless Behavior, because I need to know if they will find their HEA in that book. The HFN I got in this book was realistic but unsatisfying.
When I read a story like this, I always feel a bit guilty, since I was enjoying an erotic story where one of the character is a 19 years old, so he is still a teen, and teen means very very young. But then I think that it would be sweet if every young man (or woman) could have the chance to be initiate to love in a so wonderful way, and if there is the possibility that the first love is also the one and true, even better. So put aside the guilty and enjoy the story.
Cody is a 19 years old pretty friendly and open boy. Raised by an uncle after the death of his parents, he has soon had the chance to "know" what sex is, since his uncle owns one of the most hot gay club in the city. Know but not see, because his uncle is worst than a mother hen, and treats Cody like a victorian virgin maid: no one is good enough for his nephew and there is no way that he will allow to Cody to enter his club, no matter that now Cody is legal.
But Cody knows what he wants, and in a way he is also responsible: even if he has long ago realized that he prefers men, he never got serious with someone, since he wants that his first time is special. He sets his eyes on Dante, friend and employer of his uncle, and he would do anything to have him... and if that is not the case, well, he will find a good substitute. And here comes out the "young" and spoiled Cody: true he believes to be in love with Dante, but he is also an horny teenager who wants to have a taste of forbidden. He is really not old enough to take a cool decision, and he is really lucky to have around people who care for him.
Dante is not a perfect man. True, he avoids Cody since he is the nephew of his best friend, and a virgin too, but he has no qualms to enjoy the company of guys of the same age, but more experienced. He is not a bad man, but it's not a moral matter that take him far from Cody, is more a question of the too much heavy baggage that arrives with him: explain to his best friend that he had sex with his nephew, deal with a first time experience of an impressionable young guy, admit that maybe he is aging and Cody is too young for him...
The story is not very long, less than 80 pages, and pretty erotic. There are four scene, and in two you have sex, so you can imagine how much there is in the book; but it's enjoyable and more sweet than anything else, very fresh and young like one of the man involved.
Hot sexy read I loved how Cody went after what he wanted, and Sexy player Dante is all he had his sights set on. Wow steamy sexy halloween fun. And this quick little read took off for me and never looked back. I would love a longer story of how Dante and Cody are doing.
I have a not-so-secret kink for younger man/older man stories and this one pressed all my buttons! A very sexy read! Plus, it has one of the hottest covers ever! Whoa, baby!
Reckless Seduction is a short novella and my first book by author Amanda Young. With some good writing and interesting characters I wasn’t disappointed.
Nineteen year old Cody Bradbury is tired of being a virgin so when he gets his hands on an invitation to the hottest party in town at The Casbah, an exclusive gay men's club owned by his uncle, he has no intention of letting the opportunity of getting his cherry popped go by. With some fake ID and a quickly put together costume as a disguise Cody sneaks into the club during its annual Halloween party with exactly this intention in mind.
He can't believe his luck when Dante Santiago, his uncle’s long time friend and Casbah employee, comes on to him. Cody’s been in lust with Dante for a while, but up until now Dante hasn’t given him the time of day. Dante has no clue who Cody is, but he's definitely interested and doesn’t hesitate to have the hot encounter that this “pretty boy” is offering.
But when Dante finds out Cody’s true identity he leaves him high and dry. Not only is he conflicted about having sex with the nephew of his long time friend and employer, he also doesn’t do relationships and is certain that Cody can't possibly be the bottom he wants. Cody knows that Dante wants his body but realises that after their one hot encounter, Cody wants Dante’s heart. Is there any chance the older man might want more than just hot sex? Cody’s not sure but he won’t take no for an answer. And if he can’t have Dante the way he wants him, then Cody plans on giving Dante a night neither of them will ever forget.
What I enjoyed most about this story was the cat and mouse pursuit between Cody and Dante. Although inexperienced, Cody is no pushover and is quite capable of standing up for what he wants and going after it. For his part, Dante’s conflict over doing the right thing versus doing what he really wants provides for just the right amount angst. The push me pull you chemistry between the characters and the twist of just who is the cat and who is the mouse make the story interesting and keep the reader in anticipation of what will happen next. Add to this some altogether hot sex between the two and this short novella hit the spot.
Reckless Seduction provides just the right amount of angst and lust factor to make this story a good pick for a lazy hazy summer escape read.

All Cody wanted was to be appreciated. Appreciated and understood by everyone especially his father figure, his Uncle and Dante, the older man he admired, his uncle's business partner.
Sneaking into the older men's erotic club elicited all kinds of feelings in Cody. And when he snagged the man of his dreams, he knew there was no way Dante would keep him once he knew the man behind the mask.
It was going to take more than an apology to get Dante to see things his way.

Love can bring even the strongest man to his knees.
Six months into their affair, with the blessing of his strict uncle, Cody and Dante were ready to take it to the next level, but fear had them arrested.Cody was enjoying the fruits of being with Dante, but the older man was regretting the lifestyle he had introduced his younger lover to.
Now there was someone else standing in their way and if neither one can express what they were feeling, could it be the end of Dante and Cody?
Reckless Behaviour is a sequel to Reckless Seduction and even more hot and erotic.
This is the 2nd edition of the stories published in 2008. I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
Amanda writes an incredibly moving story of young man coming of age and trying to find himself and a lover.
Every book I read of Amanda’s becomes my favorite at the time and this one is no different.
Amanda told me she would describe this book as a coming of age story and I have to agree. At 19 Cody just wants to loose his virginity and he knows just who he wants to loose it to - Dante his Uncle’s best friend, Cody has been in love with him since he was old enough to know it was men and not woman he wanted. Never come between a man and the man he wants - When Cody decided he wants Dante well lets just Dante doesn’t stand a chance.
The only thing that could come between them is Cody’s uncle who is determined to protect his nephew from lecherous men. Will Cody stand by his man or will he cave to his uncles wishes?
The story Amanda creates for us is funny, sweet, just a bit sad, and extremely HOT your going to laugh and cry a little. WOW the heat level? Well if this was a print book I swear it would have went up in flames!!
The only thing I didn’t like was the book just wasn’t long enough, I wanted more of Chris and Dante --- The story just didn’t feel as if it was over hmmmm I wonder is there a sequel in the future for Chris and Dante???
I really liked this book. I inadvertently read the second book before this one. I wasn't aware this was a series until after I finished the 2nd book.
I really loved the main character, Dante Santiago. He is a carefree spirit who likes to have a good time and doesn't apologize for it. I admire that quality in a person. He never leads anyone on and is quite honest with people on where they stand with him.
Cody, a young college student who was raised by his uncle, Beau, when his parents were killed in a car accident. His uncle, who is also gay, is friends with Dante. Cody has had a huge crush on Dante for the longest time.
What I found great about this story is Cody's pursuit of Dante. I admired his tenacity in pursuing Dante. He was scared and apprehensive because he was afraid of rejection. Despite all that he went all in.
I really enjoyed how the story played out and was disappointed because the book was so short. I loved reading about these characters and was so hoping for more.
In Reckless Seduction, Cody is 19 yet very aware of himself as a man and being gay. I, on the other hand, initially had difficulty seeing him as anything other than somewhat more than a child, yet less than an adult. And this was the same with Dante. Added to that, Dante works for Cody's uncle, Beau, who is also his very good friend... he's seriously conflicted about his attraction to the much younger man. But early on, other than Cody's recklessness in how he went about trying to lose his virginity, I came to feel that there was a lot more underlying maturity in him. The age difference between him and Dante could definitely be a hurdle but overall I was left feeling that Cody really did know what he wanted and that his feelings for Dante were more mature than merely an infatuation.
Another wonderful erotic & romantic journey by an author who knows her characters well.
We always want what we can't have right? Cody wants someone that he definatly can't have ... his uncles friend. Cody doesn't take no for an answer. Dante's brain says no, but his body says yes. This is a quick read that keeps you wondering who is going to win out, Cody or Dante. I recommend this book. Happy Reading!
It has all been done before by different authors where the rebellious youth defies his father or in this case Uncle and makes a play for an older man. This wasn't a bad book but it wasn't a particularly good one either. The dialogue was stiff and stilted which took away from the story leaving if a bit dry and lacking in emotion.
I enjoyed getting to know these two men, Dante strong but gentle and Cody who is like a breath of fresh air for him. It was romantic and sexy at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm on to the next book!
Talk about persistence and determination!! I love how Cody pursues Dante, the older guy (though can it be count as consentual? *lol*) The story is fun, and as always, Amanda Young's sex scenes are hot. I'd love to know more about the two of them in the future.
It was a funny little read and I have to say I enjoyed it. I've been debating between three and four stars and it really is 3.5 for me, but just for the humor of the situations I'm giving it a four. Cody is really something;)
I don't normally read a lot of stories with guys this young, but I've had a thing lately for couples with a decent age gap, it makes for a whole new type of issues to overcome. I liked this. It was pretty much a sex fest, but it was enjoyable.
Amanda Young's books will always be a must read for me and this one didn't disappoint. Bonus element for me was the May -December relationship (or whatever you call older manwith younger man)
Armed with an invite to the hottest party of the year and one hell of a sexy Zorro costume Cody is out to get his cherry popped. What he doesn’t expect is that Dante Santiago of all people would show an interest in him.
Cody has a massive crush on Dante, his uncle’s friend, one which he is never been able to get over. Now that Dante is showing an interest in him, Cody can’t help but want more, more than just one night and more than a casual meaningless encounter and more than that, this time Cody is going to make sure Dante knows it.
The first thing I want to get out of the way is that this is the second edition of Reckless Seduction and this book also included the bonus follow-up novella to Reckless Seduction that is Reckless Behavior. So the following review is effectively a review for both Reckless Seduction and Reckless Behavior.
This book made for an okay read for me, primarily because this book is spattered very judiciously with sex scenes and I just wasn’t able to get into those scenes. There were very few scenes that started out hot but most of them lost their flare in the long drawn out description that followed. All the sex scenes in this book are very long and very detailed and in the second part of this book “Reckless Behavior” they don’t even add much to the story. This is also the reason I found the first novella a bit better than its follow up because the first book has two sex scenes, though I am sure they take up half the length of the novella, but at least they added something to the story. The second part is just three consecutive sex scenes till we finally get to the meat of the issue.
I really liked Dante’s character, I loved his integrity. I really liked how at the end of the first novella he tells Beau everything exactly as it is. I for one could really appreciate the courage it took to do what he did. Even in the second novella I couldn’t find fault with Dante’s character I really felt that his actions and feelings were all very human. Dante’s character is an amazing one and to some extent I think the story isn’t able to do him justice.
Cody was an okay character. I didn’t think one way or the other about him until that very stupid thing he does in the second novella. He jumps to a conclusion on the drop of an hat, in an instant he is ready to believe everything everybody else says about Dante and what was actually worse was the fact that he didn’t even have the decency to give Dante a chance to explain. This fact really irked me about Cody’s character.
I liked the story as it was though if some of the sex scenes could be deleted it would be a bonus or at least trimmed, as it stands now even if the scene is interesting in the beginning by the time it ends you’re just exhausted with having read every minute detail till the activity is only pleasurable for the characters and excruciatingly boring for you, especially in the second novella.
The second novella has a blurb that tells you everything you need to know about Cody in the first half of the book and then the moment you read the first page of the novella you know everything there is to know about Dante in the first half and then it is just a sequence of one mind numbing sex scene after the other till finally at about the half way point the story finally progresses to a point beyond that mentioned in the blurb.
Overall it was an okay read but this book does have a big plus point in Dante.
Cover Art by Kaylea Ehm. I liked the cover for the book.
I completely enjoyed reading this book. The writing was great, the flow of the story was smooth and seamless. There are 2 stories in this book the first one is Reckless Seduction and the second is Reckless Behavior. The Characters were fantastic and well developed. Dante (32 yrs.) & Cody (19 yrs.) are the MC’s and Beau who is Cody’s Uncle and Dante’s old friend is the other primary character.
When an invitation for his Uncle Beau’s exclusive Gay Club’s Halloween Party falls onto the floor in front of him Cody doesn’t hesitate to grab it and use it. Cody thinks that he is in a dream come true encounter with Dante until it is cut short when Dante finds out that it is Cody with him. For a week, all that both can do is think about the other until Cody sneaks into bed with Dante. Dante tries to talk Cody into leaving and then changes his mind and all of the back and forth is confusing for Cody. Here is a quote on that “Cody felt like his brain was swimming in gelatin.” Decision made which leads to lots of steamy moments until they are caught by Beau not so good. Reckless Seduction has hot sex and funny humor that ends with an HFN.
Six months later in Reckless Behavior Dante and Cody are still together. Their relationship has progressed and things are happening that both are happy about and have problems with. They also have some threesomes which turns out they both want to stop but aren’t sure how. When Cody thinks that Dante has betrayed him it is his Uncle Beau that talks Cody down and into talking to Dante. Things aren’t what they seem (yeah, I know you’ve heard it before). And with that opening the door Cody tells Dante that he no longer wants to have any threesomes. And so, with some communication Reckless Behavior for Cody and Dante’s ends with a HEA.
I enjoyed reading Reckless Seduction more than I did Reckless Behavior because I have a hard time in a relationship that is MM when a third is brought in just because. If it’s a MMM relationship that different for me. I am keeping my stars same though. I had written done my review for Reckless Seduction and then read Reckless Behavior so I already knew what I wanted before the threesomes. And since you can’t do half stars I don’t think I worth taking down a full one when everything else was so good. Overall I would definitely say that this is a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review
Nineteen year old Cody Bradbury has had a crush on his uncle’s best friend, Dante Santiago (32 yo), since he was fourteen. When the invitation to his uncle’s much acclaimed gay club Halloween party falls into his hand Cody thinks he’s hit the jackpot. He’s ready for some fun and if his uncle’s bestie happens to be there he wouldn’t mind losing his V-card. I wanted a bit more romance but for erotica it was pretty darn good. The heat level was incendiary. Cody was bratty but not overly. He knew what he wanted and he was more than willing to push for it until he got it. Dante, I enjoyed seeing him giving a good fight and trying to resist Cody’s charms. There was just the right touch of taboo in the story.
That being said, it seemed like all the guys in Cody’s life had huge appendages between their legs. I mean Dante was described as “biggest d*ck outside a porno” and Cody’s roommate, Josh, had a behemoth d*ck. It was just weird and a tad contradictory on Cody’s part. Who had the bigger phallus?
Reckless Behavior
Picks up 6 months after the end of Reckless seduction. Cody and Dante are in a relationship but it seems to be an open one where they pick up guys to have menages. While, Reckless Seduction, was told mostly from Cody’s POV; in Reckless Seduction, we get more of both MC’s POV. Dante seems to be dissatisfied with the direction he led their relationship in. While Cody seems to have embraced the threesomes, Dante has grown tired of it. What Dante doesn’t know is that Cody has grown tired of the arrangement too. He wasn’t really built for anything but monogamy but fears his lover will tire of him if he shows his reluctance. When he finds someone else in Dante’s house, Cody thinks the worse.
I liked the story but I could have done without read the double penetration scene and their first foray into a threesome. The mess with neither Dante nor Cody communicating was a tad aggravating/frustrating. I really wanted to shake some sense into them both.
An ARC was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
These two were pretty decent stories, I just found myself not quite believing them at points because of decisions made in the story telling that just didn't make sense to me.
In Reckless Seduction, Cody wants to get out there and start enjoying his sexuality. He is interested in older men and has no problem working out a plan of seducing his long time crush, Dante, when the man shows interest in him while dressed up for Halloween at a bar. I respected Dante as he hadn't been interested in Cody sexually before, what with him having been his boss' kid the whole time. It took Cody showing that he could stand up for himself, speak his mind, and assert what he was interested in sexually for Dante to decide that this was an okay avenue to pursue. The two worked well together. What I didn't believe in this story was Cody's Uncle Beau. His uncle is an out and proud gay man. However, Beau refuses to believe Cody is gay. Beau keeps telling Cody to try being with a woman, practically telling Cody that being gay is a 'phase'. It was so unbelievable to me that he would do that and I found it didn't fit the story.
The next story, Reckless Behaviour, tales place six months later. It was a continuation of Dante and Cody as they figured out their relationship. The thing was they really sucked at communicating and that almost broke them apart. They have to figure out what their relationship means to them and how they will move forward. I found it a bit ridiculous that the 'excuse' Dante makes is he needs to work at the club on Sunday. The club which is closed. The club which Cody's uncle owns and his lover runs. The club Cody knows the schedule of. Really, Dante didn't think that was the most transparent excuse ever and that Cody wouldn't get suspicious? It was the most ridiculous precipitating factor for their misunderstanding and it once again held me back a bit.
This is a fairly light duo of stories, with some nice hot scenes mixed in with relationship woes. It has some promise but also some drawbacks. Not bad for a quick read.
If you like your gay boys then this is a great read. Amanda has updated her book and joined Reckless Seduction and Reckless Behavior together in one book. Cody is nineteen and was raised by his Gay Uncle, Cody has known for awhile that he's gay also and just want's to go to his Uncles Club. Luck would have it that an invite to the Halloween Party ends up in his hands. Cody has only has eyes for one person for along time and some would say that it was a teeanage crush but Cody knows different the only problem is he's his Uncles friend and he also works for his Uncle. Everyone at the club knows that it's hands off Cody and that he's not allowed to be there. Lets just say Cody gets what he wants after being persisent but will everything work out???
Hot May/December romance and when I say got I mean hot especially the included bonus novella "Reckless Behavior" which is erotic as erotic can get. Cody and Dante burn up the sheets and pages. If you love good erotic M/M then this book is for you, 4.5 stars. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
i went into this having no clue if i would like it or not and ended up falling head over heels in love with this story.. it was a quick easy read.. but i loved the may/december of it.. and also the wonderfulness of what one wants he will get haha.. i also loved the second half which was like a short story to let us know what had been happening. it was amazing and im glad i got to review it
I think for me the first story was a 4 star book but the second story was a 2 star book for me. I really enjoyed the character is the first story and the age difference didn't really bother me. I thought it was hot and fun. However all the miscommunication in the second story drove me crazy and I wasn't a fan. So overall 3 stars.
Cody wants Dante in the worst way. So he finds a way into the club he manages, and behind a mask, and 'has' him. Against Dante's best intention, he succumbs to Cody and both end up with more than they hope for!
Amanda made this a sexy, believable roller coaster ride of emotions, angst, touch of menage and May December romance. Cody and Dante were loveable characters and the sensual intimate scenes left me fanning myself to cool down. I can honestly say I recommend this book.
