This book is a hard read. It might even require a teacher to read it with. I read it without supervision which has probably resulted in less extraction than possible. That said, it is clear this book is the ultimate in explaining life and its meaning and what we as Muslims should be seeking in life. There is and was so much lost in translation as the western rulers and western philosophers created a new world order that what many of the Muslims and ancients understood and possibly even took for granted before us got lost and diluted in mathematics and "science". This book is a reconnecting with that ancient wisdom put forth in relatively modern language (although the book was written in 1975 and perhaps needs another breakdown for the modern millennial ) to really give context to so much that we just don't understand today.

Perhaps I'll revisit this book in another decade when I have more context myself.
