Itsuki and his friends want to believe they would never let confessions of love affect their relationships with one another. But beneath the surface, confessions change everything...Matters of the heart can alter the flow of a story, sweeping other characters up in the tide. Itsuki's anime project is also making waves, but rather than add a refreshing twist to his life, it threatens to swallow him whole. Meanwhile, on a distant shore, Puriketsu continues his search for the girl with the "ass of the millennium." Little does he know that a new development is about to flood his well of inspiration...!
This is one of my favorite series, yet I didn't love this volume. What I usually like about these books is the romanticized life of a light novel author which they portray. One where the authors mostly go on fun trips to get inspiration, drink a lot of interesting beers and hang out with their friends, many of whom are attractive ladies. This volume gets more real, it dives into the nature of overwork and the pressure of responsibility. This is surely more realistic but also a whole lot less fun to read about.
I kinda hate Nayuta. She behaves like a literal child most of the time, so her oversexualisation and her being considered a genius writer is pretty weird.
Everything about her is defined by and subservient to her infatuation for Itsuki. Oh, I forgot to mention her big boobs and her being naked in 85% of the scenes she's in. Can't forget that.
