A quick steamy romantic read with bdsm aspects.
The story was interesting and very well written, dual pov, good paced and without dragging.
Cole was an amazing character, mature, strong and unambiguous.
Regarding Sage, I couldn’t connect with her. She was not strong and had a lot of insecurities that became tiring.
I liked their chemistry and their connection, however I didn’t enjoy the drama that unfolded towards the end, before their hea.

Road Trip was an amazing and delightful read. A perfect story about a Prof and a teacher who get involved with each other and have a fantastic road trip. Since they both work at the same university, Sage finds out she has to go on a road trip with her students. She’s not happy about it and especially since Cole Sawyer tells her she has no choice in the matter. But it’s going to be more than just a road trip for these two.
Cole is the owner of the Rouge Lounge in New Orleans. He happens to be in there on a night Sage and her friend Talia come in. Sage’s introduction to Cole is because of her attitude towards the visiting Dom, which leads Cole to deal with her punishment. And here is where Sage learns more about herself and her desires & what turns her on. And her feelings toward the mystery man in a mask.

I just loved this story by Linzi Basset!
Cole and Sage are opposites in so many ways but Sage finally finds the type of relationship she has been looking for. Cole won't let her top from the bottom.

What a truly enjoyable story! Cole and Sage are such incredible characters. He is not only a Professor he is also a Dom who has feelings for Sage but wasn’t sure how she felt. When the opportunity to take her on a road trip with his students comes up, he leaves her no choice but to come along. Sage is unsure about showing her true feelings to Cole. She feels she may not live up to his expectations. Can this trip show her how much he cares for her? I loved the interactions between these two as he showed her what it would be like to be his Submissive and maybe so much more. And don’t even get me started on their unreal chemistry! Absolutely sizzling! But when something happens can she truly trust him? Can he prove to her that he wants her in his life? I fell in love with these two and kept hoping they would end up together. If you want to know what happens, then take a chance and enjoy the ride! I highly recommend you read this book!

Just when you think Linzi can't give us a better story, here she comes with Road Trip. This story was one of the sweetest, romantic, erotic and entertaining stories i have read in a while.
Sage is a teacher at a private school with a penchant for some wicked and kinky sex at least once a month. lol. Always hoping to find whats missing from her life she tries to find it at The Rouge Lounge but has yet to find the Dom who can actually bring her to her knees. That is until she runs into the owner Master Cratos who reminds her of the owner and head professor at her school.

He owns and teaches at a Private university, along with several other businesses but his passion is The Rouge Lounge where he is the feared Master Dom Cratos. Linzi Basset knows exactly how to turn my inner cadences into a puddle of emotions. Sage and Cole are drawn to each other passionately, lustfully, sensually and erotically.

Cole and Sage will set your reader on fire and scorch you where you sit! A quick read that has everything you have come to expect from this author: a drool-worthy, dominant lead - a sassy submissive to make it interesting - sizzling chemistry - a storyline with writing that makes reality disappear as you mentally sink into the pages - and at least one supporting character you will want to steal for yourself. While relatively short in length, I was emotionally caught up in the story and felt the sensual pull of the relationship alongside the pain and frustration when I couldn’t decide whether to hug or slap the characters. Another Linzi Basset winner - I’m ready for what comes next!

I loved this story as I've loved everything Linzi Basset writes. I liked how the relationship between the H and h evolves as they learn about each other during the class road trip. Cole is the Dom that Sage didn't know she needed and Cole gets to experience Sage as the submissive he's always wanted. The trip was eye opening, hot, sexy and so sweet at the same time. There are problems of course but the road to love is bumpy but not impossible to navigate. A definite 5 star read that will leave you satisfied but wanting more.

I am still swooning over Cole/Master Cratos & his focused & intense pursuit of Sage/Cinderella.
WHOA!
This one from Ms Basset is simply & beautifully heartwarming. No matter what Cole & Sage did, no matter where they were, Ms Basset wonderfully communicated the love they had (& hid) for each other. I felt, deeply, enthralled by their journey towards a potential lifetime relationship & my fingers were crossed that they would have a lifetime together, in love & in a loving D/s dynamic.
BOTH Cole & Sage were good people, likable, intelligent, sexy & without any hidden agendas. Cole knew who & what he wanted & decided to get that he was no longer going to hide his wants & desires for a D/s contract & potential life with the lovely Sage.
And Sage, having longed for & lusted after Cole for some time, dove into the deep end & signed the contract & was excited to be the person Cole wanted in his life forever.
And the weeks long motorcycle road trip was a perfect chance to explore each other's desires & compatibility.
I so love Ms Basset's writing. In this one I felt as though invited to share the lives of two people I wanted to learn about & be friends with. Linzi exceeds my expectations every time. This steamy hot read will have you flipping the pages and wanting more. Cole and Sage are about to have a Road Trip neither will forget. Strap on your helmets because this is one ride you don’t want to miss.
