Gut wrenching, heartbreaking and amazing. Endless love with soul mates that will capture your heart.

As I write my review and try to gather my thoughts the remnants of my tears are slowly drying on my cheeks. I can’t remember the last time a book has affected me this much; days later this book was still with me.

"C-26" by D.D. Lorenzo is a book I was quite excited to dive in ever since first reading the blurb. That gorgeous cover also caught my eye, not gonna lie.
This is where anything positive I can possibly say about this book ends.

DNF at 51%

I went in expecting a heartfelt, true romance story about soulmates that meet again in another life. The quote at the beginning of the book supported that impression. The Prologue just doesn't belong together with the rest of this book, it set up such a good premise which was absolutely ruined with how everything else was executed.

The Prologue: The only thing I liked about this book. Takes place when Titanic is sinking. Introduces a couple (Abigail & Isidore) that have already accepted their fate & want to just die in each others' embrace. Third person story telling worked for this part quite well & I was hoping to meet those characters in some shape or form again in present day. Instead I had to endure some pretty inlikable reinkarnation versions of them that just had no chemistry.

The characters:
- Skylar, The Doormat: an indie romance author, bookworm, loves writing & keeping everything organized. Despite writing about romance she hasn't really experienced a great one yet. Her character is pretty generic, not really relatable. She's very insecure & feels bad about standing up for herself in her first fight with the hero.
- Dash, The Douche: a famous musician (in his words, he didn't feel like an actual musician to me), loves talking how he cut off his long hair & trimmed his beard. He's your regular douchebag that believes women are always overreacting; when he describes Skylar he always talks about her arse, curves, boobs or her "curly mane" (like she's a damn horse).
Did I mention his shorter hair & beard? Because the author wants you to know that fact, she keeps repeating it many times.

The writing: I'm just not liking the fact the rest of the book was also in third person. I feel like it would have been better if the Prologue stayed in third, while Present day events were told in first. The present day characters spoke/thought like they're in a historical romance novel.
The descriptions were long, random, wordy & often would focus too much on the most insignificant things. Like describing in great detail how suitcases come off the plane and onto the carousel.
The author kept repeating the same words & phrases within a short paragraph & sometimes multiple times in the exact same chapter. Three times (in two separate chapters) we're told Dash cut off his long hair & trimmed his beard; how his heart is going crazy over meeting Skylar, how he intents to win her over/get her number; how she has no clue he's this music star.
The only thing this can achieve is irritate the reader, there was literally no other purpose to it.
The writing had many cliches. Sky had trouble breathing just from accidentally touching Dash's hand when they first met. Once she agrees to go on a date with him & thinks he's not coming, she immediately reaches for the wine & gets drunk, which is questionable seeing how she's there all alone at a concert and then actually drives herself home because she says she sobered up enough.

The timeline was so unclear. I have no clue for how long Sky & Dash actually dated . It wasn't mentioned even once to the point I made it. Repeating about his haircut was more important, I guess.
For a good portion of the book all you get to experience is Sky retelling they're dating & how she's doing some random stuff around her house. The timejumps make it hard to connect with the characters/see them grow, the lack of scenes where Sky & Dash actually go out on dates/bond, even more so. The chemistry is just non-existend. Sky would say how they spend some time apart, not clarifying how much. She would go on rants how she's in love with Dash & how romantic he is, when we see none of that. We don't know if it's too early for her to be in love either. We have no clue what's so dreamy about him. The moments we get to experience certainly don't support that in any way:

- Chapter 15: Finally a very short look into them having a date - a picnic. The only date I saw from this book. It was so generic and did I mention short?

"You're cute and hot." Is this Dash being romantic? Because I'm not feeling it.

- Chapter 16:
Dash talking how his little Dash is twitching & wants him to get on the next "level" with Sky. Talk about her body & *mane* follows.
Like cool, bud, you want to get laid, but again, not feeling it, because there's no chemistry or connection to those characters. It's like watching two trees make out.
("I made dinner.") "I think I'd like to stay here and enjoy the view." (stares at her boobs)
Dash tells Sky he's cooked, but since all he wants is sex, she doesn't even get to enjoy said meal first.
metoDash

There's no good build up, no sweet tension when it comes to seeing them get intimate. They go from one kiss to Sky talking about time passing & "dating" to Dash talking about his penis and making a move to sleep with her.
Not only that, but Dash is pretty gross in his thoughts:
"Now that the reality was staring him in the face he hoped to push her boundaries. His fantasies sat at the cusp of reality, and he eagerly awaited their realization with bated breath."
Gotta love a man that's already trying to push boundaries before even sleeping with her for the first time. No info if they ever went beyond "innocently" kissing before that.

I just refuse to accept Dash & Isidore are the same soul. You can't give me a glimpse of this loving, seemingly very devoted husband from the Prologue & then hit me with Dash, the asshole that has no personality beyond talking about his penis & how he shaved his beard/hair.

"A switch flipped in his mind as he engaged with his inner beast. A primal feeling came over him. He craved the taste of Skylar. The feel of her. Excitement gnawed at him from deep down inside, gripping him with an appetite that could only be satisfied once he'd claimed her."
Dash "suddenly" became a caveman. All this feels like a bad historical romance, I just can't handle the notion heroes from our time might blurt out such sentences with a straight face.

"His nostrils flare as he struggled to hold back his urges. He looked like an animal untamed, ready to devour her." - Like how does one take that seriously, when I'm imagining this:
Dash

Next up, Sky is lusting after his bare feet. The moment she sees his peeny she's experiencing some type of questionable medical reaction that involves buzzing bees under her skin & itchy scalp. Doesn't sound very pleasant. uwu

"He was so potently male."
Literally all he did was show you his peeny & he's THE MOST MANLY MAN TO EVER MAN.
Dash

But wait, it gets worse: She's now dripping wet, saying she couldn't have imagined such feelings existed because she didn't have much experience before. Like yo, he hasn't done anything yet. What are you getting that excited for.
All her cravings rush her at once & oh no, her fantasies and feelings make her stop breathing, she's afraid now!! I'm seriously thinking, she's probably having some type of actual medical reaction & needs hospital.

Her fear might stop Dash from getting laid, he's having NONE OF THAT NONSENSE! SO MANLY. SO ROMANTIC.
"I'm not going to hurt you or do anything you don't want. Don't steal this moment away from us (us? from him) because you're afraid."
Ah, said the man, who was looking like a caged animal seconds before. HAHAH. Also, how about you don't pressure her into sex.
10s
""Maybe you should be afraid." Dash's low laugh tormented her sex."
So, which is it?

All fear is gone once Dash commanding voice tells Sky to not be afraid & not ruin this for him. Seeing them get intimate is so cringe. No joke, I'm so grateful for Ian interrupting them:
While Dash & Sky are going at it in the shower (so fancy, for their very first time), his junkie bandmade rushes in & seeing the situation suggests he JOIN them. Dash beats him up for that & accidentally calls Sky Abigail. (She has no clue who Abby is, so she assumes he's cheating).

Dash ofc doesn't see the problem in saying another woman's name.
"Where fifteen minutes ago she was soft and open, now her entire posture was closed tightly.
"I wish you'd try to relax.""

No shit, your trashy friend just walked in on her naked & tried to join you two, and she heard you shout at him & beat him up. You relax, buddy.

Manly Man sucks at calming down an angry woman.
"Dash stalked after her, watching as she tried to slam down the lid of the toilet seat. He almost laughed at her impatient aggravation as it drifted down... "This is ridiculous.""
Yeah, super ridiculous she wants to know why you said another woman's name, ya d-bag.
So funny, all for your entertaiment.

*Dash: I shall fix this situation!*
"And women are unreasonable." Dash didn't miss the comment. His attempt to diminish the tense situation was to use a *lighthearted* tone. It backfired."
Lol, I wonder why. Maybe because you keep calling her ridiculous & act like she has no right to ask you about another woman.

Not so MANLY NOW, HAHAHA:
"Dash felt the delicate balance between life and death in her eyes. Instinct had him back up a step."

Long story short, Sky tells Dash where to shove it, she storms off and for some reason blames herself for damaging the relationship. No worries tho, she goes from feeling like crap one minute to muttering some cliched, positive quotes the next. *idk*

Dash keeps calling her & camps out at her door in the cold. *eye roll*
He storms in once she opens the door & demands to know if she loves him. How much time has passed again?! I honestly want to know.
When he hears 'YES' he mauls her without them having talked about the fight yet or gotten her permission to touch her.

But that's okay because he's this famous musician and Sky should be grateful he wants Little Miss Nobody here:
"Why would he want a wavy-haired bookworm over someone with perky tits and a willing body?" Since when having a wavy hair is a bad thing? Not even gonna comment on the whole bookworm part.

Surprise, they make up. I feel nothing. Because the book doesn't really let you connect with them or show the hero in any good light.

Now kissed, Sky doesn't feel like questioning him about Abigail anymore. So reasonable.
"Hearing his truth put fresh breath into her lungs. Her love for him eclipsed her reservations. If she'd been paying attention to his words and not her angered presumptions, she's have seen it."
What truth? Seen what, you fool? All he did was say: "Uh. I don't know any Abigail." When he said her name like he cares. He proved nothing to clear up your suspicions. Why are you overlooking it?
"There was no need for more questions. No need for more apologies." Actually, yes, there so is.

A cringey sex scene follows. I have some tasty highlights, because if I had to suffer, so do you:
gif

His fingers between her legs described as "a loving assault". ASSAULT.

"His fingers stroked out a beautiful song, bringing sparks with its heat." You know, because he's a musician. Good thing, he's not something else.

"His pace quickened as he possessed her. He pushed her to the edge of desire. Sky was a willing prisoner to his lust as he claimed and possessed her." So much repeating. Gotta bring it home that he's possessing her. The demon.

MY PERSONAL FAVORITE:
" He shifted up, his bone colliding with her clit until ripples of pleasure consumed them both."
Yo, what bone? His peeny? Or did he pop out a random bone from the exertion & is pocking her with it??? I have questions.

st
This is where I officially had enough. I just can't bear more of this or care to see these two go at it again. They certainly don't work as a couple.

Final thoughts:
For a romance book, C-26 just lacks romance. No joke, I felt more connection to Abigail & Isidore in that short Prologue than I ever did to the present Sky & Dash. The third person was painful to read, especially with how the characters didn't sound at all realistic. The writing needs a good editor, less rambling about random things & more scenes where we see the leads grow as a couple before they actually have some cringey sex. Dash just didn't do it for me as a hero, Skylar had the backbone of a jellyfish. 51% in I wasn't at all grabbed by what I saw from the story to keep on torturing myself.

Status: Wouldn't recommend.

I'm sad that this didn't work for me. I was super excited about this book.
I do believe this can be a winner and an amazing story for a lot of other people.

Unfortunately this style of storytelling is not for me. The author skips a lot of their relationship. We are at 1st date and next page they've been together months. Forwarding months goes on the entire book so it was really hard for me to believe they'd fallen in love. I'm being told they are madly in love and I'm supposed to just go with it. Meanwhile I'm wondering when they fell in love because I didn't see it.

This is told in a 3rd person but still goes back and forth between hers/his POV told in 3rd

I've read plenty of books told in 3rd person and I have loved them. Clearly I don't have an issue with that.
What I do have an issue with is being told to feel and not being made feel.
Also, there's minimal dialogue in the entire book.

Oh but when I got to 90%

I was emotional. And I like that. But it almost felt like I was reading a different book.

From the first page, I knew this was going to be a book I would not forget. And before the prologue was over, I was reaching for my crying towel. Skylar and Dash instantly connect when they bump into each other at an airport and from there the story takes off. As the story goes on, I began to understand the prologue more and more. True love is timeless and watching the story unfold as I read, brought up emotions I usually reserve for books that will stay with me for a very long time. I can't even imagine going through what Sky and Dash have to deal with. Skylar shows all the emotions of a wife who, while breaking inside, is strong for her husband. And I couldn't even begin to imagine how Dash is feeling when it's revealed what is happening with him. The author has handled this topic with grace and dignity. There are tears, anger, angst and lurking behind is a love so strong that is seems to transcend time. I honestly didn't care for Ian at first but that all changes when he finally understands what is going on and reveals his true feelings. It endeared him to me. And the end? I won't give anything away but that broke me and had me crying enough that even my husband was asking if I was okay!!! When I told him it was a book, he smiled, gave me a hug and said okay. He knows how I feel about certain books. When this book comes out, I highly recommend it............just have several boxes of tissues handy. You're going to need them.

By the time I made it through the prologue, tears were in my eyes. Gut-wrenching, heartbreaking, and soul-cleaving, the love Izzy and Abigail shared makes you believe love can transcend mere mortal bonds. I was sold at the end of the prologue. As for the rest of the story, it packs a punch. Your emotions are not safe, and they will be put through the wringer. If you're strong enough to begin this journey, you'll believe in the timeless nature of love. DeeDee Lorenzo crafts a beautiful story that is wonderful, captivating, and worth getting lost in. But know that every worthy love comes with a price.

C-26 was my first book by D.D. Lorenzo, and it was a book I chose to read based solely on its cover. I'm a sucker for beautiful covers, and this one is GORGEOUS!

It's always fascinating to read a book that involves reincarnation and soulmate stories, to see how the author is going to deal with the topic is what intrigues me the most. Unfortunately, this book was not the right choice for me.

The first chapter got me thinking, this is it, this is the book that's going to make me cry my eyes out while reading it, but then between the first and last chapters, I got lost. So what happened? I didn't feel the connection between the main characters—it felt forced as if their love was based only on the "soulmate connection" between them, and not because they were in love.

And even though the idea was captivating, it was not enough. The love connection, which I consider as fundamental in this kind of story, was missing, and that's the reason I am giving the book 3 stars.

C-26 is not a story for everyone—it was not for me. But if you enjoy stories about soulmates and reincarnations, give this book a try, who knows, maybe you will love it.

Thank you to Netgalley for the chance to read the book in exchange for an honest review ♡.

This was not for me.
It did not read like a modern romance; the phrase "turgid member" was used and I just can't deal with that without snort-laughing.
The pacing of this was odd. So many scenes and so much of the relationship were skipped over and I don't understand why the author chose certain scenes to spotlight and then skip ahead months. We see a first date, then on the next page they've been together months; we don't get to see the relationship build and that really makes it difficult to care at all about the characters and their relationship.
There was also some not-so-subtle preaching vicariously through the main character who also happened to be an author who publishes independently:
Everyone had an opinion. If the story was too sweet it was judged as not realistic. Too erotic and it was "mommy porn". She hadn't invented the chip on her shoulder; it was put there by the patronizing attitude of people who didn't even read the genre.
I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy this book, but that person wasn't me.

You come across a book every once in a while that makes you take stock of the good things in your life and it proves to you that things can change in an instant. Sky and Dash met in an airport and instantly they felt a connection that neither of them understood. Friendship quickly turned into so much more and when tragedy strikes and their time together takes a path neither of them saw coming, the relationship it put to the test. Do you believe in the afterlife? Can you come back and find true love time after time? Highly emotional and highly addictive - you will not want to continue the book but at the same time you will not want to put it down. D.D. Lorenzo has created a masterpiece and proves once again her strength as a writer but also her passion to give her readers a book that stays with them long after the last page is read. Five stars are not enough!!

The significance of C-26 is far beyond words...it must be experienced

From the moment I read the first few passages I knew in my heart this story would consume my thoughts and emotions. DD Lorenzo writes a story of love so deep that transcends time and loss so significant and profound that can never be measured.

Izzy and Abigail loved each other so fully and deeply they were destined to be together forever...

Years later, Skylar (Sky) and Dash were meant to be together as well and there was something immediately magical when they met by chance..?
The draw, the attraction was so inexplicably unexpected that there was an undeniable connection that needed to be fulfilled.

This story was heartfelt and captivating and I felt that I would be irrevocably and profoundly affected not only by heart break but by a sense of wonderment and peace in my own experience with loss.

Beautifully written and captivatingly rendering an indelible mark on my own soul I cannot recommend this tragically timeless story of endless love enough!
One of my 2020 favorites! A must read!

5 star Review C-26 by DD Lorenzo

I have read several books by D.D. Lorenzo and as I have come to expect, C-26 was an extremely well written, highly emotional story that drew me in and had me totally invested.

I was in tears numerous times reading this book as it was so emotional and really pulled at my heartstrings so you have been warned, be prepared.

This story spans two lifetimes, it is a a beautifully written story of love, of soul mates and the journey that both couples embark on. It is sad and yet it is a story of everlasting love and hope.
This review is brief as this is one of those stories that touched me to my soul. Nothing I say will do justice to this book; you need to read for yourself.
Finishing C-26 I was left with one heck of a book hangover.

**May contain spoilers! It’s hard to write my impression of this fantastic story without pointing out specific parts. I whole-heartedly encourage devoted romantics to read this!**

What a hauntingly, beautiful, love story.

As I started to read the Prologue, I was immediately hooked into the commitment of Izzy and Abby talking about their love for one another as they waited. It was then I realized that they waited for death, so calmly, and I thought, oh, no! They aren’t ready. I was sad but intrigued with the courage it took for this couple to acknowledge that their deaths were inevitable and yet they reassured each other as they clung together. I was impressed that despite the bitter cold and water surrounding them, they were able to express their love for each other and while keeping the fear from overtaking them, they lovingly said their final goodbyes without saying goodbye. With just the Prologue, I wanted to cry for them. I loved this story already.

I enjoyed the instant attraction between Skylar and Dash when they first meet. It’s every romantic woman’s dream to unexpectedly meet and find your one true love and to knowingly fall deep the moment your eyes meet. I felt that this “unexpectedness” is what the author was intending you to feel was happening with Skylar and Dash. Their journey is sweet, filled with angst as they both acknowledge to themselves that they have met someone special, but yet, fear they would never see each other again.

Airports are always a mess, the crowds of people everywhere, it is an extreme long shot, that there of all places, one would connect with that one person who meets all your preconceived expectations and requirements of “the one”. This story makes it seem magical and predestined. Romance could be anywhere!

I absolutely love this journey. I feel as though I know Skylar and Dash personally and as they are getting to know each other in the most basic and simple ways, they both have very busy and public lives. This sweet story simplifies new love and it keeps expressing this simple, new love throughout the entire heartwarming story. I couldn’t imagine having such a heartbreaking diagnosis and living with the symptoms every moment of every day. The author brings out each and every emotion that one would feel with this kind of experience. I was anxious when I was reading Dash’s realization of his future and I was feeling his fear of his helplessness and loss of control in his life. I also love how Skylar never misses a beat in her devotion to her love. Despite her own anguish and fear, she wants him to have the best life she can provide for as long as she has him.

What a wonderful, well-written story. This is a slow burn and a must read for anyone who loves romance. You get all the feels combined with the satisfaction of an honorable completion with a promise of more. I look forward to more from this author in this type of writing.

D.D. Lorenzo’s C-26 is one of those books that simply wasn’t for me. The reason for this is very easy to understand – I’m extremely picky when it comes to reincarnation and soulmate stories. I always love the idea, but I very rarely fall for the stories as deeply as I would have liked.

This was certainly a story with plenty packed into it, details that leave you curious to see how the elements come together, but I never felt the connection between the characters. They seemed to fall for each other based upon the soulmate link between them, and I spent much of the book feeling like they weren’t in love – they were together because of a connection, not any tangible emotions. This is just me, though, and I am picky with these types of stories.

Although this one wasn’t for me, I’m sure many fans of reincarnation and soulmates stories will enjoy this one.

Well then, give me a sec to take a deep breath. You'll need to do the same. A few times. With tissues. This one packs a punch. I read the first chapter and immediately knew this was going to grab my emotions, pull them out, twist them a few times so you didn't know if you should laugh or cry, and then comfort you like a warm hug. Dash and Sky are on a journey to each other and with each other. You come out of this believing in a love that is timeless, but you also want to punch it a few times, or maybe that was just Ian. Either way, this book is going to take you on a journey that has no easy path but shows that love is worth getting lost and risking all for.

The first scene will rip your heart out, and frankly the tears don’t really get a chance to dry through the rest of the book. This isn’t a light, entertaining read; it’s a heartfelt, emotional, gut-wrenching exploration of love, parting, death, soulmates, and, ultimately, hope. It wasn’t a particularly easy book to read, and it is not an easy book to review. It’s one to read when you have at least a box of tissues on hand, something warm to drink, and a need for some reassurance about the never-ending-ness of love. Oh, and the symbolism of the title – enjoy discovering that. This is one of those books you just don’t want to miss out on reading.

I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

I was crying before the first chapter. I’ve had a few experiences where an author can take me out of this world and into the one on the page. However, This one was raw, emotional filled with love that is beyond our comprehension. If I could this Author D. D. Lorenzo would be a 10 gold stars! This book broke my heart and filled it with love at the same time. It was hard for me to shake off the remnants of reading this beautiful story and coming back to real life. The characters of Izzy and Abagail we’re just as wondrous as the lively characters of Dash and Sky. I think I’m hooked now on this author.

Wow, just wow. I am not one of those people who gets book hangovers or thinks about a book for some time after reading it (for the most part). But C-26? It is definitely a book that stays with you. The prologue sucks you in and shreds you. Beautiful and gut wrenching all at once. Then the rest of book...... such a beautiful story. This book is one of the best reads ever. So emotional, have your tissues handy. A tale of beauty, love, heartbreak. This is one book you don’t want to miss. I absolutely loved it.

Dee Dee NEVER disappoints! Lose yourself in her characters. You can feel yourself becoming entangled in the story. And just when you think you have the story figured out, it takes you somewhere else. Escape for a few hours. Her imagination leaves you wanting more! C-26 leaves you dreaming or affirming a love like Skylar and Dash's!

Wow!!! Absolutely loved it!!
Dash is a Rockstar. Skylar is an author. They met at an airport. Their flight flew out from Gate C-26.
Izzzy and Abigail were on a ship and stayed in Cabin 26.
How do lives intertwine with each other from past to present? Izzy swears to Abigail that he will find her again. How does Dash and Skylar fit into this?
This is a beautiful love story.

*** ARC kindly provided for an honest review. ***

It was an interesting and intriguing story. Showing that love defies time and space and no matter how your soulmate would find you.
Get your box of tissue ready because you would need it or a glass or wine, probably both.

I found this approach interesting and how the author paid attention to details throughout the story. I guess that is what I appreciated the most.
In spite of this original storyline and great writing, I felt like something was missing.

Skylar and Dash fell in love hard and fast. A love of a lifetime. As much I adored their meet cute, a cute and flirty banter and a promising epic story to come. The original idea and essence of the story should have been a strong foundation.

Somehow in the way, it wasn’t enough. The moments they shared should have been memorable but some interactions felt odd to me.
It wasn’t that smooth and maybe intentional.

Especially in the middle of Skylar and Dash’s story. Too much drama, uncertainties and also wasting time about arguing instead of listening to the other. That the way their love goes, intense and passionate.

I wish I could have connected more with the story. It took me too much time to make that connection, happening mostly at the end of the book. Those last chapters were so beautifully written, showing the extent of their love, a conclusion that really moved me.

The rating is a 3.75 stars. Such a sweet book! The first chapter really knocks you out. It’s such a sad story about love dying. Reminded me a bit of Titanic because of the boat sinking but in this version both lovers die to be reborn at a later life.
I had a hard time with this book in a good way. It was so sad. Too sad. To finally find the love of your life to have him ripped from you slowly with a disease is horrible. These two had such a short time together to be brutally destroyed by Alzheimer’s. Having Dash mix his previous lives with his present life is gut wrenching to read. It’s painful for him to be going through this and not have any control over it and Sky having no control in her life while her husband is being taken from her.
Th book lost .25 because of the way it’s written. I enjoy books when the book is written in the first person. This book is written in the third person and it’s a bit weird to read a book told this way.

I am a new reader to D.D. and her work. I never expected to be taken on such a journey. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, captivating and let's you know that you never know what the future holds and how quickly lives can intersect. Dash and Sky are two people waiting in an airport terminal and the immediate connection is overwhelming and at the same time familiar. They may be strangers but their lives have now crossed paths. It was a timeless beautiful romance that left me in tears. It made stop and think about how the past, present and future can intertwine and bring these two people together as it was always meant to be.
Loved it !

Y'all my disclosure-get your Kentucky Coffee, fortitude and make sure your heartstrings have knots in them because they will be strummed. Couldn't have them slip through the fingers. This book wasn't easy to read. That's not a deterrent for reading quite the contrast.
The reader will support Dash as he hopes Skylar will "let him love her completely."
Skylar's view on love/ relationships is akin to "blowing on a dandelion wish" and wondering if her life will be "scattered with a million hopes and dreams.
Maybe she can love him "simply being himself." Skylar not fully allowing or trusting her dreams, hopes and fears could possibly miss out on a love of a lifetime or two ... As the love of her life reminds Skyler never to forget his love for her and he will always find her. ❤ Swoon. I experienced the feels with this book. I enjoyed this ARC.

This was my first book by D.D. Lorenzo. This is Skylar and Dash´s epic love story. Skylar is a writer and Dash is part of a famous rock band. They met at the airport and since that day Dash knew that she was the one for him.

I loved all about their story, how their relationship went from friends to lovers, how perfect they were together. But most important that they never gave up on each other.

This is a story of fate, love and marriage. I recommend C-26 to anyone that enjoy an epic love story.

Thank you D.D. Lorenzo and Grey´s Promotions of the ARC.
