Now that I've finished the series, I'll write a review. There are five books and this short story so far. The stories deal with the Horsemen, but they are not that interested about bringing on the apocalypse or Armageddon (they can't decide which is the correct term.) These are fun books and a good diversionary read. They total about 600 pages, so not too much of an investment of time. Death is the main Horseman, and he has some human help to pick up the slack. The characters are funny and people you might meet on the street or in a pub. Some topical humor may limit the extended appeal of these novellas. Some of the humor and terminology is decidedly British. I recommend these for pure fun.

Fun, James Bond-esque (mayhaps Austin Powers?)

So, yeah, I’m officially 100% in, love this world & cant wait for more.

60's Cold-War Spy story ... of the gods. Funny little romp with Death and War as they save the world ... again. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

"War" as an international spy, with a little NOIR flavor. Good enough especially since we meet Elisabeth again, but I missed Dave :)

Maybe not a bad story but describe it as humour? Someone will have to explain that to me.
