When Marcus married Melina years ago, the one thing she always promised him was that she would give him children. Neither of them realized that would be easier said than done. Struggling to make sense of the situation and with Marcus putting all the blame on Melina, their marriage becomes strained. A night out with the guys allows Marcus to relax and enjoy himself without thinking about the problems he and his wife are dealing with at home. However, that one night has consequences no one was prepared for. Kalisha thought she had met her knight in shining armor. After a steamy night with the handsome stranger, she gives him her phone number. As the months go by with no word from the man she had hoped would give her a lasting relationship, she finally gives up. However, God has a way of sending us messages to teach us lessons when we least expect them. What will become of Melina and Marcus’ marriage? What will happen when Marcus comes face to face with a past he thought he had left behind? Find out in It Was Only One Damn Night…
It was only one damn night by Lady Lissa is a interesting and amazing story. Each characters have their own drama story to tell. Lady Lissa does a good job.
Melina is a good and intelligent woman to Marcus but she needs to pay attention to the red flags Marcus and Kalisha. Marcus promises to himself and God for protective, lovely and being a good husband to Melina and his family but he’s doing something that he’s not supposed to do. Kalisha is a immature, bitter, depression and disrespectful to Melina. Chandler is the reason why Porsha is acting the secured and immature. He should be completed honest with her in the beginning. Porsha and Kalisha need to learn how to love themselves and focus on themselves. Kalisha should listen to her friends before she’s acting crazy for Marcus.
I can’t read part two of this series.
Good Job: Book Nerd Melina needs to pay attention to the red flags. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 The drama is starting for these characters. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Bay👏🏾bay👏🏾 Every one got their own set of drama going on! Messy dont have nothing on them! I give Marcus wrong! Yes, he was drunk but knowing what he was risking at home, couldnt he have at least thought to wrap it up?! Then Porsha... whew she a whole nut case. Yh Chandler gave her reasons to be insecure but why keep subjecting herself to him. Was it really in the name of love or just to claim him? She been taking cheap shots at Kalisha but somewhat ended up in a similar situation. I really thought Chandle would have stood his ground but I guess the power of the kitty is all too strong. The last thing Maya asked him not to do and made him promise was exactly what he did 🤦🏾♀️ Kalisha made a whole fool of herself! She should have known better. Now all hell is about to break loose that she caught up to Marcus!! Great read
Well, we all know what's done in the dark eventually comes to light. And if poor Marcus didn't know, he's about to know. This book moved quickly and brought what I needed today and that was the drama on all fronts. As usual, the author managed to touch on some pretty real topics to get you thinking i.e. infidelity, infertility, etc. This story was a solid plot, good character development, and content. There were a few technical issues, but hey I still read this in one sitting and I'm ready for book two. Will God get Marcus' prayers be answered? Will Porsha's handling of Chandler's "business" work out in her favor?
Marcus is one trifling dog how you going to cheat on your wife because at the time she couldn’t get pregnant so you go and sleep with someone else knowing the consequences of having unprotected sex typically just like a man it’s sad that he about to throw his marriage away all because of one night he had with someone else and as for Porsha she too immature I Hope a Chandler leave her for good and just be there for his baby she needs to grow and put her big girl panties on before her baby comes along I can’t wait to read Part 2 to see how Marcus going to get his self out this situation
This book was really good. What's done in the dark and past definitely came to light for Marcus. That one night stand came back and gut punched him and the aftermath of that will most likely rock his marriage to Malina. Kalisha will not let him get rid of her that fast. She's on a mission and not backing down. How far will Porsha's conniving get her with Chandler. Can't wait to read how things play out in part 2.
Marcus had a one night stand with a total stranger and now he's in a good place with his wife but what he does not know is sometimes your indiscretion comes back to bite you in the butt! We are left with a cliffhanger darn! A lot of grammatical errors but what a good story! I will be anxious to see what happens to Porscha and Chandler, Kalisha, Melina and Marcus!
Baby mama drama! Good book filled with drama. I’m not a fan of any of the characters with the exception of Melina. That’s a sign of good writing when you feel that strongly about imaginary characters 😂😂😂. Marcus is a cheating dog. Kalisha is desperate and crazy. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
Well it was no mystery where this was going, but I did enjoy the drama. However, I surely don't agree with or condone one night stands. If women would stop doing this, men would have to come correct. And women would possibly find out who they're really dealing with. Good story but I'm disappointed in the editing going awry at times. Would recommend, though.
Woo!!! Drama at it best . What’s done in the dark comes to the light !! Ohh Marcus how you gonna explain this !! One night of pleasure a life time of hell. Porsha always got her mouth open about someone else girl deal with your own issues. Kalisha mean business. Straight to part 2 for me !!
So it seems like Marcus is dealing with what’s done In the dark comes to the light . I wonder if this is going to go the way Kalisha wants it to go. Porsha Porsha girl you know after that little stunt you just played Chandler is going to be pissed. Donya good job your the only sane one I the group lol.
Well, well, well. What happens in the dark always come to light. It’s really about to hit the fan. I was actually cheering for Malina and Marcus, but I can’t wait to see how he gets out of this predicament. Porsha may have made things worse for herself. Can’t wait to read book two.
Marcus should had told his wife that he had cheated. Since this wasn't his first time. But hey he didn't know that will get caught. Kalisha and Porsha some messy girls. Those babies i pray for.
Whoa being sloppy can have horrible consequences! Marcus thought he could get away but Kalisha caught him, how is he going to get out of this? The scene at the doctors office was so uncalled for but she was so dramatic Wow! I can't wait to see what happens next, this series is a must read!
This book is crazy asl. I enjoyed it to the very last page. I highly recommend this book to everyone who reads. As an author this young lady truly has a gift of writing. Please check her out.
I enjoyed oil yes this read although at first it was moving slow and I had to skip around to get into it. Lady Lissa did a good job though with this read. Will definitely purchase part two.
Enjoyed reading. I liked all the worst possible drama Tricky story line younger sisters need to read this book and know in just one night now def life changing
One damn night can screw your whole life to he**. Marcus' dirty deeds have come to roost. I don't feel bad for him because he cheated before. On to part 2. Lady Lissa you did it again!
Marcus hit it and quit it. He wanted his marriage to work and he focused on that. Kalisha never knew he was married so she fantasized. People don’t believe it can happen just that once, but surprise.
This was a great read. Marcus did typical man behavior but Talisha couldn't handle it at all. Portia was to immature to me but oh well. I have a feeling its about to go down.
I hate Marcus had that one night stand with Kalisha. It is about to get real now. I can't wait to start Part 2 to see what is about to happen. Great book
Great great book. It keeps you going from page one. Such a roller coaster ride. Don’t want to give the book away all i can say its a great book. I recommend it
