Some examples seemed dated. Some tactics seemed hard-sell and pushy. Writing style is similarly pushy, like talking to a car salesman. But starting with chapter 8, there were some takeaways that I found useful.

What if you could directly target your ideal B2B customers with direct mail, advertising, gifts and interactive business cards? According to this book, you can achieve amazing results like 100% response rates and very high ROI on campaigns. Unlike other marketing books I've read, this book stands out because it highlights many different examples on how people have used the campaign. You have the author's own examples and they are great. However, you also see examples from technology sales, personal fitness training sales, and consulting sales. I read this book as an audiobook via Audible and I may re-read it again in another format to deeper on the material. Simply excellent if you are in B2B sales or conducting high value sales.

The only drawback to the contact marketing strategy is cost. Many of the options described in the book are quite costly to implement (i.e. hundreds or thousands of dollars). However, the book also lays out a number of low cost strategies (i.e. under $100) that have produced great results.

I won a copy of this book.

Easy to digest, this book is written in terms that are easy enough for anyone to understand. The people interviewed in the book have some really smart ideas to "Get th[at] Meeting!" A little basic leg work is all it really takes to make things happen.
