My favorite: "Do Over" read by Jason Clarke, from Overnight Sensation by Sarina Bowen "...I need to kiss you under the bridge"
Claudia! did you see this!?? Listen to this?
Each chapter is a different author/a different love letter.
I just had to listen to Joe Arden - the love letter in Chapter 2. "a zipper scar...." Ronyelle Baker, did you see this??
Oh yeah, do not about SebYo- chapter 4 (Corinne Michaels
This is a great sampler- listening to different narrators, different authors' snippet of really popular books.
I forgot how I got this, but I'm glass that I did. Ha I can listen to this again.
NSFW. I wonder if I'm ok to drive while listening??
PS. Tanya Eby is a great mistress of ceremonies. She introduces each love letter.

Audible Review

Overall 3 out of 5 stars
Performance 4 out of 5 stars
Story 3 out of 5 stars

I wouldn't say it's completely filthy...
I've only read 2 of the books with characters featured in this anthology- Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan and Overnight Sensation by Sarina Bowen. But they were reason enough to grab this, especially considering the audio was free.
It was nice to revisit August & Iris and Jason & Heidi. Kennedy kind of went rogue by not having August write an actual letter, but their scene fit them. I enjoy Sean Crisden's narration, but I'm not sure I could read Long Shot a second time, even with him performing it- I don't think my heart could handle it!
I liked Jason's letter to Heidi, the do-over and how he imagined their "anniversary" playing out, instead of how it really went. Jason Clarke is a terrific narrator.
I enjoyed some of the other letters, even without having read their books. In particular CD Reiss's- of course I've seen that series all over, but it's not one that's ever really been on my radar as a "need to read", but I may have to rethink that now- Christian Fox's narratation went a long way in helping!
Julia Kent's book sounds like it might be a fun one- I do love a second chance romance,
Aaron Shedlock is one of my favorites, I was glad to hear him in the mix!
I did skip over a couple of the letters, just because of personal preference.

The following was not included in my review on Audible, because like I said personal preference, and I didn't want to get any backlash! There's one narrator in particular who is so unbelievably popular, but I find so boringly monotonous that I couldn't even handle listening to him for the short time it would have taken him to read the letter. I don't understand the popularity. There's another who's voice grates on me and I just don't find him enjoyableto listen to.

I do appreciate the authors and narrators putting this together and offering it to the readers.

I've only listened to Sierra Simone's track so far (it's the main reason why I bought this audiobook) and I just have to express MY FEELS somewhere since Embry's letter to Ash gave me ALL THE OVERWHELMING! Perfection!

Edit: Holy Shit I love the narrator (Christian Fox) of CD Reiss's piece. UGH. Jonathan!

Listened to this for LJ Shen's and Kennedy Ryan's installments but I listened to all of them.

The narrators for this were wonderful. It's made me look up a few of the ones I hadn't known about and I now have a few from each on my Wish List.

Loved LJ Shen's installment, I only wish it was a little longer. But then again I always want more Vicious!

And Kennedy Ryan's installment was amazing. I think she could write August and Iris going over their grocery list and I would love it.

All of the stories were either great or good, I don't have a lot of reference because I haven't read the series or books that these letters were attached too, I enjoyed them though. But I do now have some of those books or series on my wish list too, so I'm looking forward to relistening to these and getting a new appreciation for those letters.

- Carrie Ann Ryan, narrator: Joe Arden, To: Vi, From: Cameron
- CD Reiss, narrator: Christian Fox, To: , From: Johnathan, Narrator: Sebastian York, To:, From: Noah
- Kate Canterbary, Magnolia Chronicles, Narrator: Tor Thom, From: Rob, To: Magnolia. Best of the bunch so far. Sweet and hot, let me know a bit about both characters.
- Kendall Ryan, Narrator: Jason Clark, From:, To: . Sweet and funny. This book is on my TBR. I need to get on that. Love the humorous self-deprecating tone of the letter, along with jock humor and a passionate declaration of love and respect for the heroine.
- Kendall Ryan, Hoops, narrator: Sean Crisden, From: August, To: Iris. Athlete on a sports road trip. Really good. Realistic with enough romance, passion and love to make the story resonate.
- LJ Shen, Narrator: Christian Rommel, To:, From: Baron Spencer (?). Liked the premise, well written.
- Louise Bay, The British Lion, Narrator: Sean East, To: Violet, From: Alexander. She’s gone to Connecticut for a trip. A sweet series of short letters to his wife.
- Sarina Bowen, Overnight Sensation, Narrator: Jason Clarke, To: Heidi, From:Castro. So good! Funny and sexy and sweet. A re-do, kinda, for their first night together.
- Sawyer Bennett, Wicked Favor, Narrator: Lance Greenfeld, To: Trista, From: Jericho. Sweet.
- Sierra Simone, American Prince, New Camelot, Narrator: Tim Paige, To: Ash, From: Embry. Really good. Brought back lots of good memories of the New Camelot series. Blessedly light on the angst. Whew.

The only bad thing about this being only on audio is that there isn’t a table of contents. I’d like to be able to go back to some of these authors and their series.

Oh, most of my favorite male narrators were included. That was nice, but that last story? For the life of me I can not figure out how the MC got to the place that he’s in. Talk about complicated.....

So Hot

Wow. These love letters were hot and steamy, not tender and delicate, but filled will the live and devotion. These are the kinds of letters you'd absolutely expect from the hot alpha male characters who wrote them. There is no way I can pick a favorite. Even the letters from a few of the books I hadn't read yet were perfect. I'll definitely be checking them out.
The narrators whe perfectly chosen and made the letters even more desirable to read... er, listen to being read.

Well done ladies! This is going on my almost non existent relisten list!

This audio book is a very clever idea on the part of Audible; a sort of Whitman's Sampler of stories, authors and narrators. The chapters are made up of one letter each. The letters are the male protagonist's POV to the object of his affection. The letter provides an introduction to the type of story and the characters; a nice way to figure out if the book might be of interest. Most POV narration is a shared venture so it isn't 100% that the guy reading his letter would be the sole narrator of the book, but it does offer a taste.

Phew! Some of these letters are on FIRE! This was a great introduction to some top romance authors and top romance narrators, and a welcome return to others.

Some of my favorite letters are CD Reiss's (track 3) and Sierra Simone's (track 15).

Audio love letters from 14 different authors from some of their most popular characters, this is a really entertaining listen, very steamy and hot. You won't necessarily have to read the books before listening, and I have definitely been inspired to buy a few of the books to read the whole stories.

This was interesting. If yyou as muchas I do the audio version is so much better in the terms you tend to know which voice belongs to what voice-over actor is reading. Not what I thought it was going to be

Short bits charged with tension every chapter and I loved every minute of it.
My darlings Iris Dupree and August West from Long shot brought the feels and I'm just content to have had this extra extra bit of their life.

3.5 Stars!

I picked this up after I listened to Quickies last month - and it shouldn't have taken as long to listen to as it did. This is a collection of 14 letters written (or alluded to) by the heroes of other stories in the authors' backlists - if you loved the story that the letter goes with, it's like a little epilogue... if you didn't know about the story (which was me in most of the cases), you might want to read it, though you'll definitely be spoiled on the HEA, heh. I'll be checking out a few. One of my absolute favorite epilogues is in this collection from Overnight Sensation, Jason Castro's letter to Heidi about the night he had planned a year before. I've read it, I've listened to it many times, and I can't get enough. The other stories? Well, I've read a couple and a couple more were already on my TBR, but it looks like the TBR will grow a little more...

I have to say I am disappointed by this anthology. I expected something more, but in the end, I couldn't even give it 4 stars (or 3.5).

I've read most of these authors, and I loved their books. The narrators were also great, with one exception - Aaron Shedlock, I really want to like his book, but holy fuck was his voice annoying - pronouncing the end of every fucking word like gasping, it made me mad, I was about to go crazy if I heard even one more word, at the end.

All stories sounded lovely, and cute, and heartwarming, but I just didn't click with them. However, I would love to listen to more of these types of anthologies.

3.5 stars. The collection is audio only, and uses some well-loved audiobook narrators and letters from men from well-loved books I don’t think I’ve actually read any of the books these letters are based off of, but I think there was enough information given where I was still invested in the couples. I will say, there are a couple in here from books I never read because I didn’t think I would like bully/possessiveness tones of the book, so that impacted my rating (thinking specifically of Vicious). All in all, I really liked the idea of the collection and it was fun to read overall.

This felt like a collection of audio samples from different romance audiobook narrators and it was a ton of fun (and super hot fantasies!). I think the authors wrote these steamy letters for the specific narrator that read theirs and I love that. Definitely worth checking out as it’s a quick listen, and it’s actually a great way to get acquainted with different authors and narrators. You don’t need to have read anything by these authors to enjoy this audio.

What a treat this smorgasboard of Dirty Letters is. A great way to see if a new author to you is going to peak your interest. I definitely added a couple of new books to my ever growing TBR just from listening to this audiobook. It’s always a pleasure to listen to this fantastic lineup of narrators. A quick listen, let me dip back into some worlds that I love written by amazing authors and an insight into some I’ve never visited before.

Would for sure recommend this one.
