I absolutely ADORED this new short little novella by Aria Cole.
YES, it was short but it was complete with two epilogue.
This a sweet HOT read about a vet and a construction worker.
They are so different but somehow they work together. The hero is hard living and basic and the heroine is sweet and sassy.
The hero, Stone or "Fucking Stone" as she called him, was constantly making noise on his side of their shared connecting wall of their separate appartements.
She gets mad one day and to get even with all his noise making she takes out her vibrator and goes to town.
What's a guy to do?
Especially when he has been fantasizing about his saucy neighbor during his "solo noise making."
Being such a good neighbor, Stone goes over and offers to help her out of course.
He tells her,
"I want all of you. There will never be anything between us, Paige, got that? I take what’s mine, and I’m going to bury myself so far inside you and spill my seed, everyone will know you’re mine.”
Paige is feeling a little overwhelmed, but she wants to finally make a human connection.
She thinks
My own life was under construction before him, and now he filled all the missing parts. I looked forward to waking up in the morning, and looked forward to going home at night so I could see him.

I had a plan for her and me tonight, and it started with for and ended with ever.

Normally, I’m not a fan of cocky heroes, but for some unknown reason, I have to say Stone Garrett just simply pushed all my right buttons. It’s hard to say no to a man as hot as him. Once he set his mind on
I was so engrossed in the story and couldn’t stop turning the pages until I finished. It was a very short read that before I could finish blinking my eyes, it was over, and damn, it left me wanting more! I can’t get enough of Stone!
All in all, this was a deliciously hot, sexy, lovely, and sweet read. If you are looking for a quick, smutty romance that will make your panties melt and your ovaries explode, then Under Construction is for you.
**Please be warned: Almost everything about this novella was quite OTT. Enjoy!

It took me about 30 minutes to read the book, reread some sentences to make sure I read them correctly and giggle like stupid while I was rolling my eyes.
Stone Garrett is a construction worker who gets so excited and happy when he watches porn that he knocks and bangs the wall of his bedroom.
Paige Brennan is a vet who just wants to sleep and her neighbor from hell and his girlfriend are too noisy to let this happen.
Paige will soon realize that her neighbor lives alone and he really wants to bang the wall together with her.
Ok, I could not believe that actually Paige was relieved that Stone was a porn addict and not an one-night-stand addict, but anyway I let it pass.
It was also a bit annoying that he keeps calling her "little bird". It could have been worse only if he called her "pet" which I hate maybe a little bit more.
Anyway, Stone is really cutely chasing Paige. He will have his stalking phase and he will receive no resistance by the eager doctor. Awesome smutty moments there.
There is a HEA with a big house with four bedrooms, three baths, a fully finished basement and a large balcony complete with jacuzzi. I could marry him, too…

3.5 to 4*
Firstly WOW this has to be one of the best book covers I've seen, I mean seriously.
The book itself is the same it's insta-love or should that be insta-lust, everything here is fast and furious. It's only 55 pages long and they're all put to good use.
Paige is a vet and she lives in a nice quiet apartment or she did before her new neighbour moved in now she's being kept awake with sounds of him having sex. The problem is they share a bedroom wall and while Paige wants to read and study Stone is obviously busy getting laid.
She's determined to give him a piece of her mind but she didn't expect him to look quite so hot, tall, muscled and sexy. Now what exactly was she going to say to him?
Stone can't believe this sexy little firecracker is his neighbour, things are really looking up and like he says:
"I’m a dirty man with an even dirtier mind.”
Okay so you get the idea and it's exactly what I was expecting yet somehow more. I loved both the characters, well everything about this book really and I wasn't ready for it to end. Even though I knew it was a short hot read I was enjoying it so much I was sad to see it end.
It's incredibly rare that I would give a book of this length more than 3* I've struggled with ratings in the past and I always try to be fair and I generally don't feel that such a short novella deserves the same rating as a much longer book but I enjoyed this so much and the cover is just fantastic so I'm giving this 4* and trust me I don't give this lightly in fact let's make it 3.5 to 4* that way I don't feel like I'm going completely crazy.

This one was a super quick read. It's more on par with Alexa Riley than anything else, except not as dirty and kinky. So definitely more romantic and less edgy/risqué. It's not a masterpiece but given the low word count, I was surprised at how well the hero worked for me. Then again I'm a sucker for blue collar men and I'm absolutely not opposed to virgin heroines getting them all hot and bothered. I love the gritty, traditional, down to earth aspect to a man that works with their hands. It was fast, naughty but still emotionally satisfying as a straightforward romance. Even though the relationship moved at lightning speed I can't deny Stone made me quiver more than once. I'd recommend this to anyone in need of a quick fix. You'll literally read it in 30 minutes.

Damn GR I got on here to add this to my read books list and bam a dozen more books on my TBR pile and an Avengers movie later and I am only just getting to this.
As for this it was short and sweet. The perfect balance of lust and love. Just perfect for an early morning quickie and a great way to kick off a new year.

I stumbled on this one while reading Stepbrother Anonymous there was a chapter of it in the end and it intrigued me so I instantly bought it and started it.
Who wouldn't be intrigued when the story starts with :
Paige has recently a new neighbor their shared walls are so thin she hears the sex noise coming from his side, always around the same time, the same routine. So when she finally meets her new neigbor she picks up all the courage to speak to him about it. And so the fun begins she thinks that helped but he just likes to annoy her and she thinks she needs to put on a show of her own to let him hear how annoying it is.
This is a short, fast, hot story with an alpha who instantly knows what he wants.
This isn't really insta love, but more insta lust, but from there on it goes fast.
Also fun fact : there are two epilogues so you get closure!

First off Aria Cole has some of the yummiest covers for her books. I love the cover model on this one :) Another thing I like about this series is that it is about regular, average, every day people. There are so many millionaire billionaire MMCs out there that it's nice to read about us normal, working class people.
This story is about construction worker, Jackson and veternarian, Paige. It's instant attraction, instant giving into their mutual lust and pretty instant love, like the forever kind with marriage and babies. It was quick and sweet and I really fell for Jackson - he was that smart ass alpha caveman you sort of love to hate. He was determined and when it came to Paige, he had a one track mind but he was also considerate and affectionate.
I liked Paige for the most part. It took her a little longer to come around to liking and then loving Jackson than I would have liked but by the end she was all in and the epilogue was the cutest!
Long story short, I liked this one way more than Under Her Hood and I would highly recommend if you want a sexy quickie in-between some of those heavy reads.

2.5 Not Quite There Stars
I wanted to like this one. I liked the premise. I thought Stone was perfect...the hot, sexy, dirty talking alpha that romance fantasies are built around. Paige was spunky, fun, and willing to give as good as she got from Stone, so they were well matched.
Unfortunately, and without giving anything away this is hard, this book just didn't work for me. I am ok with insta-love, I was expecting it as the book was short. But what frustrated me as I felt that absolutely everything was tossed into this. Everything. If there was a situation to explore, a possible eventuality, and a possible resolution, it was all in this. And, because of that, I felt that the book glosssed over things even more than I was expecting because of the length of the book.
It was a decent premise with strong characters, but I thought the book tried to do too much and tell too many facets of the story and ended up with a "cliffs notes" version of a much longer book.
I am not able to recommend this book. It was close, and in some areas it wasn't bad...but I was disappointed overall.

I tried to read this book once.
I lost it for a sleep I guess.
After a while, I asked Kübo and she said "don't expect and try it" so I started.
But I didn't even bother myself to add as reading (I usually don't any other shorties it's not its fault)
Then again, I tried to read is for days.
Then when I open up my reader, I realized I didn't finish it.
Fifty five page.
