I am loving this series of horror short stories! Volume 1 was fabulous and I hurridly queued up Vol 2 to continue listening! I loved all 3 of these stories too!

In this second collection of three creepy tales a man discovers cheating death has very scary consequences, a funeral sets the scene for a man to help the dead, and the night shift proves to be anything but boring for a hotel clerk.

I like these stories because they are truly creepy but not overly graphic or cheesy. My favorite tale in this second collection is the final one. The narrator's voice as he voiced a certain creepy hotel guest actually made shivers go down my back....I'm not easily creeped out either. Kudos to Thom Bowers for a great performance as narrator!

There are 19 volumes so far in this series. I can't wait to listen to more! I listened to the audio book version of this story collection. Narrated by Thom Bowers, the audio is 1 hr, 43 minutes long. So a perfect short listening length. Bowers does a great job as narrator! The stories are varied with just the right amount of creepiness, and a perfect listen for a quick dose of horror!

**I received a free copy of this audio book from the authors. This review is voluntary and the free book had no bearing on my opinion. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.**

Another great scarestreet publication. A man who survived a drowning as a childwho has been cheating death since. You have an old hotel with believable characters add chilling horror. Again, you have a trio of short stories well written and creepy. You may want to check under your bed, look in your closet and sleep with the lights on as Ghosts are real. I love how Rin Ripley uses characters from his older books in his stories. Shane returns, I have always loved Shane the Ex-Marine. These would be great for teen sleepovers as there is no swearing no frank sex or bloody gore. I enjoyed these stories and hope you will too. I also loved Samantha One of Sara Clancey's characters.

Three great short stories that will keep your attention and flipping those pages. I loved seeing Shane make an appearance in one of these stories I won't say which or what he was doing but rest assured its the same old shane. This book does not disappoint its filled with twists turns and spine chilling suspense. If ghosts and horror is your thing then you don't have to look any further then this book. Five stars ALL the way.

A quick and fun read, creepy and a little scary. Great for when you don't have time for a full novel and want to fill an hour or so. Looking forward to more.

I received a free copy of this audiobook either from the author or a promotion or giveaway and am voluntarily writing an honest and unbiased review.

Series volume one, it contains unconnected books and stories regarding ghosts and demons, an imaginary monsters under the bed. My favorite is the funeral of Sam Butler.
Title of the short stories:

The rain runner by Rowan Rook
The funeral of Sam Butler, by Ron Ripley
Overnight stay by Sarah Clancy

3 great stories again!

I’m starting to become a big fan of these. I love stories that are actually creepy and well written. Well these have both. I love these and cannot wait to read the next one. A man who almost drowns as a kid but can he escape death again? An older gentlemen tries to help the dead, and the last one which was ,y favorite, a guest at a hotel has a fascination with the front desk lady. Like I said a fun read and can’t wait to read the other ones!

This second in the series is every bit as good as the first, and it has the extra added bonus of including a story that includes Shane Ryan - Ron Ripley's intrepid ghost hunter. The other two stories are about a man who nearly drowned as a child and had a lifelong fear of water - any water - that becomes his undoing and a hotel manager stalked by a mysterious guest. All three tales contain plenty of scares.
Halloween is the perfect time to read this book and others in the series. It is easily read in an hour or less, so you can bury yourself in it and not get too lost. Of course, if you do get lost, call on Shane.

I really loved the story written by Sara Clancy. I have never read her work as of yet. That was scary and really good. The other two stories were good as well. All were well written, fast paced, and well thought for being short stories! Awesome read for a lunch break in between my school classes! I have just recently in the last 6 or 7 months really started reading the scare street books and have fallen in love.

Great stories

Finally, scary stories that aren't full of cussing and sex and bloody gore. Just the fear of the unknown. These stories kept you fearful of what was going to happen.
