An ancient secret sect. A devastating curse.
What would give to foresee the wining Roulette numbers? Would you be willing to pay the price for this gift?
When Michael plays Roulette for the first time in his life he starts foreseeing the winning numbers. Unbeknownst to him, his gift unleashes a murdering curse.
Suddenly chased by a satanic sect, he uncovers his curse is linked to the game of roulette and the most evil of all entities in human history, the Devil.
With the help of Amanda, a beautiful and mysterious demonologist, Michael tries to stop the curse and prevent the sect of fulfilling their ultimate goal – have the Devil rule over us.
Together, Amanda and Michael race to unravel an ancient conspiracy and learn the truth about the demonic origins of roulette. Their journey takes them to the darkest corners of Europe and into the secrets of their very own pasts. They follow a century-old trail of clues that lead through dangerous catacombs, a mysterious castle, and cryptic texts in ancient books. Their enemy is close on their heels and will stop at nothing to obtain the power of the curse – even if it means that more must die. Amanda and Michael can stop them…if they can trust each other. And stay alive.

Okay so as the cover and the name of the book suggests it definitely something spooky and supernatural in there, and if that's something that interests you then you "must" Go for this book!
The book is mainly based on two characters Michael and Amanda and how they plan and fight against the devil himself, the most dangerous evil ever. And Michael can save himself and the rest of the people if Amanda and he trust each other. Amanda is a beautiful and mysterious Demonogoist who helps Michael do all this.
The story is short but fast paced and once you start reading it then you won't have the track of time and you will just continue turning the pages. It's really engaging and good plot and adventure is present in the book.
The language is easy and the story is well structured. A lot of things happen in the book and there is also travelling and adventure but due to the good framework of the story, it never confuses the reader that what's going on.
I also came to know much more about the game roulette, which was introduced to me for the first time in this book and this is also the main part of the story .
So if I conclude... The book is worth giving a try and is a great story by Roman Koidl and after this book i am waiting for more books by the author. All the adventure and supernatural geeks are going to enjoy the book thoroughly for sure. And the people who are more into other genres will develop a taste in this genre as well!
A Fast-paced racy thriller that'd keep you on the edge of your seat.
Fans of Robert Langdon would love this one. From the first page till the last, the plot chugs at an incredibly fast pace, giving us no time to relax. The writing is so lucid and easy to follow. It's the kind of book that could break your reading slump. Once you're immersed in the story, you wouldn't notice the time/pages fly by. Michael is being hunted by a satanic sect who plans to manipulate him and make use of his 'gift' for sinister purposes. Also on his heels are the police who suspect him for scamming a casino out of more than $3 million. Michael is in a race against time to get to the bottom of things before it gets ugly.
I'd recommend this for anyone who'd want to finish a decent thriller book within an hour and a half.
Also, I bumped up the rating from 4 to 5 in a bid to support the author. 'The Devil's Game' is his second book and I hope my words of encouragement will convince him to write and publish his third novel.

I really enjoyed this book because I love mysteries. This is a book that is about a young man trying to find his place in life and the stop terrible evil from happening. There are twists and turns galore and the ending is a shock. Now that right there should be good reason to read the book. If you love mysteries along the style of Dan Brown, then you'll love this book. Enjoy.
I found this an interesting read that moved along at a good pace. It's not a long story, but certainly gripping in the flow of the story and the way the characters were explained and related to one another. It's a story that could have been a much longer novel, but the shortness of it didn't affect the depth of the storyline.
