You are in for an emotional journey with this one. This book had me laughing and then ugly crying! Eighteen months ago Amy lost her fiancé. She has retreated from everything and everyone in her life so she can be numb and not feel the pain of loss. Travis “Mac” MacGregor is a paramedic and was with Amy’s fiancé and his good friend, A.J., when he died. These two meet on and off around town and bring out the worst in each other. Amy decides to start running again and meets Mac who is also running. He helps her get back into running and finally cleaning out A.J.’s things. These two start seeing more of each other but always end up apologizing to each other. Can Amy finally put A.J. To rest and join the world of the living. Can she risk her heart. It’s a long journey but a really good one.

I identified with this book. As a widow , I recognized the truth in this story, like reading a diary at times for me. Well written, tear jerker of a book sometimes, very warm and hopeful book. Recommended.

What a beautiful, heartfelt ending to a great series! I will miss all of the fabulous characters Ms. O'Malley created for Windsor Falls! Getting to know Amy, experiencing her pain and heartbreak, seeing her come back to life...what an experience! Travis 'Mac' MacGregor...is there a stronger, aweeter man alive? He's patience and solid throughout the budding friendship with Amy, careful and thoughtful. As the relationship grows, you experience the hope and fear right alongside Travis and Amy. Just a truly beautiful story! I can't wait to see what's next from this author.

It was tough not to want to hug Amy. She was still grieving the love of her life and was having trouble living her life. I think Mac helped her back to life. I loved their bantering, their arguing. I think it made Amy not only fight back, but shook her up a bit. I loved how patient Mac was, but at the same time made his feelings known while still doing things for Amy to show he cared. It took someone who thought he knew Amy, but didn't really, to bring her out of her grief. Great ending to a great series. I'm sad it's ending.

Wrapping up the series with a sweet story about finding love again. It was a great way to end the story of Windsor falls. Poor Amy and her heart. I was happy she found someone as great as Mac to help rebuild her heart!!

Grief and healing

This series ending is really sad. It is a great series and book. This book truly is one of grief and finding healing through love. Any and Mac’s story is one that will take you through so many emotions. Don’t miss this book and the ending of this series.

Mac is amazing! As is Amy. I remember feeling for her immensely in an earlier book when she lost her fiancée, I always enjoyed her character!

There was a little something missing for me, but it was a good conclusions to a fun series by a wonderful author!

Amy Windsor's life turned upside down 18 months ago when her fiance Andrew died in the line of duty as a firefighter. She clings onto his memory and has no desire to move on.

Travis "Mac" Mac Gregor is a paramedic who tried to save Andrew's life. He has always been protective over Amy from a distance as something he felt he owed Andrew but when close to each other they seem to do nothing but clash.

Gradually Amy and Mac form a friendship and Mac is there for Amy as she slowly begins to move on with her life. Yet is Amy ready for what Mac has to offer or is the fear of something more too terrifying for her to imagine and will he always be second place to Andrew's memory?

This was such a great book about having the courage to move on and live life again.

I liked Amy but I felt as if she just was giving up on her own life which is the opposite of what Andrew would have wanted for her. She refused to get rid of any of his stuff and lived in the past but slowly Mac was helping her begin her life again and I liked that she gave life a chance again. Yet I was also well aware that she was holding Mac at a distance and when things would go faster than she was comfortable with she would escape and almost go hide from the world again.

I thought Mac was a fantastic character but at times I was almost mad at him for letting Amy get away with treating him so terribly. I knew she was still hurting but Mac was quite innocent in everything as he had genuine feelings for Amy but was stuck between her memories of Andrew and a fresh new start.

There were a few times when I wanted to smack Amy upside the head for throwing away such a good guy but I knew she was hurting. I knew she loved Andrew but they hadn't been together long and she mourned him for almost as long as they were together. She was pretty mean to Mac a few times and the stuff she said about calling him Mac broke my heart.

I was so happy when Amy finally realized how she felt and what she did to show him she was ready to try again!

WOW! WOW! WOW! COMING BACK by Kimberley O'Malley was a Emotional Rollercoaster ride of Emotional distress and Heartwreching Aches. I was a Blubbering mess after finishing this book and it has all the feels that will Leave you Speechless. After such a heartbreaking loss of her fiance Andrew, Amy is trying to piece her life back together as best as she can. Travis "Mac" Gregor is a paramedic who tried to save Andrew in the line of duty. But in the distance, he is protecting Amy as he feels he owe it Andrew but sometimes coming together was like oil to water.
Eventually Mac & Amy form a friendship and realized that there is something is brewing between the two of them. But is Amy ready to move on after such a tragic loss?
Kimberley O'Malley knows how to Suck You In and captivates us into Her Books! COMING BACK is BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN and never a Dull moment page after page. Hate to see Windsor Falls series come to an end but CANNOT WAIT TO read more from Ms. O'Malley.

Solid 4.5 star
You really feel for Amy and Travis both lost someone close to them and Travis was with Andrew when it happened which is a double blow for Amy but Travis decides he needs to help her get back to living some how. There is plenty of emotions to go through in this book real lows, loss, normality, hope and happiness, Amy's grief cuts you like a knife but you are also rooting for Travis to break her out of grief cycle, I really like how he does things in small nudges and the part of going through Andrews clothes I knew how hard that is to do as I had to do it for my Mum. This really is a book you could read again, I haven't read the others in this series but will be doing so now as this book has me hooked.

This book will touch on every emotion. Sadness at the loss of a partner, numbness and moving through life, and then happiness but trepidation for starting over. Kimberley O'Malley wraps up her Windsor Falls Series with the story of Amy and Mac.
Amy was engaged to the love of her life AJ. When he is killed during a fire, her whole world falls apart. She moves back in with her parents and struggles to just move on. In steps Travis "Mac" MacGregor another fireman and good friend to AJ.
Mac and AJ worked at the fire department together. Mac was there when AJ took his last breath right after he asked Mac to take care of Amy and encourage her to move on. Torn between doing what his best friend wants and coming to the realization he is falling for a Windsor, a family Mac is not crazy about. But what he learns from Amy is the strength she has and that she is nothing he imagined her as a Windsor being.
The story is emotional for anyone who has lost a spouse. Kimberley O'Malley does a superb job at writing these characters and slowly bringing them together. She fills the book with passion and chemistry with her characters. It is a series I will always love. I'm sad to see it end. Thank you Kimberley O'Malley for bringing us the people of Windsor Falls.

Coming Back

Coming Back (Windsor Falls Book 6) will have you feeling so many emotions - sadness, hope, love, despair, and happiness. I realize this is the last in the series, but I do believe you can read this as a standalone. I have only read one of the others, but I intend to go back and get them all and read them in order. This book had me laughing one moment and then crying again. You feel the pain Amy felt in losing the love of her life, and it hurt to see her go through what she did, and feel like she could never love again. Mac is an amazing man - so strong and always there, even when Amy wasn't so nice to him....and he also lost a good friend. Mac makes for an amazing book boyfriend - strong, sexy, tall, handsome, and very lovable. It is a great read and also deals with grief and how it is different for everyone. Looking forward to see what is next from this author!

Coming Back
(A Windsor Falls Novel)
Kimberly O'Malley

Coming Back maybe the final book in this series, but it ends on a happy note. This book was such an easy read and hard for me to lay down. I needed quite a few kleenex before getting to the end.
After reading Saving Quinn your left not knowing what becomes of Amy Windsor. All we know is that she's grieving AJ.
In Coming Back, Amy is still struggling with A.J.'s loss.  Amy starts to move forward with finding herself, again. She has the help and support of many. In the process she finds Mac's friendly shoulder to lean on. Mac is kind, caring and patient. As he spends time with Amy, he's finding that he is wanting more. Shes afraid of falling for Mac and losing him like AJ. The hardest struggle for her is taking the final step and admitting her love to him. This pair do get their happy ending.
Coming Back was the perfect ending to Kimberly O'Malley Windsor Falls series. I can't wait to read ALL six books over, again. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author in the near future.

What a sad book. A loss of a partner, numbness, and going through life trying to get over her grief but someone steps in, Mac, a friend of her fiancee. He steps in to help her but Mac falls for Windsor and she treats him badly at times. But I was glad when she decided to try and love again. The book was an emotional roller coaster ride. Sometimes I wanted to slap Windsor for treating Mac so bad and how slow she let go. Grief was described really well in this book. Good book to read.

Yet again another beautiful book by Kimberley O’Malley. My heart broke in Saving Quinn, and I’m so glad Kimberley decided finish the series with Amy and Mac.

Amy’s grief was heartbreaking, but well written. I could have hugged Mac the entire way through though. Another great book to snuggle up with.

Loved this story!! A heartbreakingly sweet story about moving on after a life altering tragedy. I really enjoyed this slow burn between Mac and Amy. The support that Amy had from her family and friends was amazing. They all allowed her to grieve and move on in her own time. An emotional journey that ends in a beautiful HEA.

This is book 6 on the Windsor book series. 18 months ago Amy's life was torn on half. Her fiance Andrew died in a fire and now she is grieving.  She doesn't think of anyone but her grief. Mac and Andrew worked together as fire fighters. Mac grieves for him also. This is an emotional roller coaster story but you will fall in love with the characters.

I loved this whole series and this book was no exception. An emotional story of Amy, who lost her fiance months ago and Mac who was friends with Amy's fiance and with him when he died. An unlikely friendship becomes more. A sweet, emotional, sad and heartwarming read. Grab the tissues.
