Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. Wow another great story but I really wish that Ani would have trusted not only her brother, but his Seal team at the beginning when she attended his wedding. It's amazing to me that any story that I've ever read always makes me not trust the CIA because it seems that they are for themselves and not the American people. I'm glad that she and Carter teamed up, not only as lovers but also allowing his team and the guys from Reaper to assist her with finding the mole within the CIA and lord how mercy, what a crazy and demented person it turned out to be. Happy reading.
Ani was interesting and not what I expected from Noa's sister. I think she surprised the hell out of all of them when her job was revealed. It was due to this job that things got very crazy! Ani did a good job of working to find out what was going on and to get the info into hands that could do something about it. It was so crazy who the bad guy was and why! The SEAL's working closely with the REAPER guys were Ani's back up and boy did she need it.
It was nice to see Carter and Ani finally find calm and now can start to build a life together, that they saved the say along the way was a bonus.
I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty good book. I really enjoyed most of the characters. This was a book of betrayal, compassion, asserting yourself, and being a great friend. I really enjoyed Carter and Ani story and there relationship. I think they made a pretty great couple. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.
Seems the books in this series keep getting better and better. Each has plenty of action but this one it seems like something going on on each page. It's a fast read. I love the characters. It's hard to guess who the bad guy is in this one. All I'll say is what a surprise.
This book is so good that I couldn't put it down. The story starts during Noa and Kelsey's wedding with Carter and Ani getting kidnapped. There are some crazy twists that I didn't see coming. I love all of Mary Kennedy's books. I love her characters, storylines, all of the action, and the romance is always so hot.
This book was very exciting! I really enjoyed the action and suspense. I also liked the characters from REAPER being involved with this story. Definitely recommend this book.
Ms Kennedy does it again!! I am so happy her family of characters is so large😄 That means that I am not in danger of running out of stories! I just love her writing and will always be a fan hoorah!
I enjoyed aspects of this book, but there were things I didn't enjoy. One thing that really bothers me is the heroine is supposed to be so strong, but the second the hero tells her she did something wrong, she backs down and apologizes, even if she wasn't wrong.
A good amount of steam and excitement and you've got a great book. Sure gets exciting at times then there's an unexpected twist towards the end that you don't see coming. Hope you enjoy
I really love when the heroine has a strong character and can protect herself and others just as well as the hero can. That’s exactly what this book has!
This was another read in one sitting. Excellent exciting story, interspersed with some tender love scenes. Just shows you never can tell the good from the bad.
