The Tiger’s Love
I very much enjoyed the story of a divorced mother of two who suddenly discovers that her young son can shift into a bear cub. Evidently her ex forgot to tell her something. Though shifters are not a secret, they are shunned and discriminated against. On top of that, Sadie has absolutely no idea how to raise a shifter cub. Hoping that the local alpha can help her she seeks him out, only to discover that he is a first class butt-hole who expects her to abandon her son to his pack, as if. When Nate shifts again after a fight with his sister he also disappears into the night. Frantic, Sadie only knows one person to call, but will Dante even help her find her son?
Dante is the alpha of the group of shifters in a small town. He fought for the position so that he could bring order and calm to the shifters under his domain. It has been a hard battle, but he is sure that his methods are the best way to handle rogue shifters. One meeting with the beautiful human, Sadie, and he is not feeling so sure any more. Though he manages to make a fool of himself and run her off when she asks for help, he is not about to let a little bear cub become a problem for him or the town. He will come to Sadie's aide, and maybe he will do more than just find her son for her. Maybe he will also find what he has been needing in his life. A family of his own.

Nice second book in this series. There are references to people and events from the first book, but if you haven't read it you will not be lost.
Lily is a human who is sort of tricked into going to a shifter bar with her girlfriends who are trying to get her over a bad breakup with her boyfriend of 6 years. She is not really into the scene, especially since she is still not over Brock, but she has to admit that the guys are hot. When she steps outside for a breathe of air she is followed by a guy who seems to be the bouncer for the bar. They have a conversation that makes her realize what a jerk her former lover really was since she had let him stifle her in how she dressed and what she did. Since she had caught him having sex with someone else, obviously she had let herself be treated like a doormat. She likes Rodrigo, but she does not want a rebound relationship.
Rodrigo's beast really liked Lily. He was afraid to get too close to her because he was not fully in control of his animal side and he wasn't going to hurt her. When a member of his pack escapes from a kidnapper, Rodrigo steps in and offers to find out exactly who is abducting shifters, and why. He does not mean to bring more trouble to Lily's door, but when the person he is hunting makes threats involving Lily he is more than ready to ensure she stays safe. But what will this mean to their budding relationship? How can Rodrigo keep her safe without telling her the whole story about what is going on? And what if his avoiding her is no guarantee that she does not in the hands of a madman?

The third book in this series features Carol and Van. We learned about wolf shifter Carol and her capture and captivity in book 2, but I think you can follow along even if you haven't read the other books in the series. Van is a lion shifter and the right hand man for the pack Alpha. He knows that Carol is his mate, but she is a recently turned wolf and her harrowing experiences did nothing to help her gain control of her beast. She is shaky at the best of times and could shift at the drop of a hat. She is worried that the pack Alpha, Dante, will have her put down if she can't gain dominance over her wolf side. She is also convinced that a "buyer" is searching for her and she is scared to tell anyone, least of all Van. She is sure he is a spy for Dante and reports all her problems with her wolf to him.
Can Van figure out what has Carol so scared? Will he be able to calm her down enough to reveal their mate connection? Who is the mysterious person that is trying to find her? Read and find out!

This collection is fantastic and I love it! The story of three shifters who find the one that makes them whole.
The Hyena's Hope - Rodrigo was changed into a hyena when he was bitten. It changed his life but not for the better. He struggles to maintain control and he feels like this new life is worthless. He meets Lily one night when her friends drag her into the shifter bar where he works. He is immediately drawn to her and even gets involved when her ex-boyfriend, Brock, shows up trying to get back together with her. She left him when she found him cheating and has no plans to go back. Rodrigo really wants to get close to Lily but he's afraid to as he feels the danger he faces will only harm her. Especially after one of their pack members, Carol, returns after being missing for a year claiming to be kidnapped. Soon Rodrigo believes her after he starts tracking the kidnapper and he sees him with Lily and threatens her. He wants to be close to her and yet he pushes her away at the same time. During all this, Brock is trying to get back with her and she begins to feel like she's being watched. Through some very harrowing situations, she and Rodrigo keep coming back to each other and when the time comes to finally get the kidnappers, she knows who they are and where to find them. She is hurt in the process but Rodrigo and his pack are successful in getting Carol back and taking care of the kidnappers, leaving Rodrigo free to get his happilly ever after with Lily, his mate.

Sadie is a single mother of a teenage daughter and a 6 year old son. Things go from bad to worse when Sadie finds out her son Nate is a shifter. Her ex husband never told her and she doesn't know what to do. So she goes to Dante to ask for help. It is a long and bumpy road as the two navigate how they feel for each other, how Dante feels he needs to rule his pack and how to deal with Ian, her ex husband when he shows up wanting to take Nate away. In the end, Dante realizes that Sadie makes him a better Alpha and a better man and promises her he will do whatever he can to make a relationship work between them.

As soon as Carol returns from having been kidnapped by doctors and experimented on, he knows the truth - that she is his mate. He vows not to push her but is there for her every step of the way. She is fighting her wolf and fighting her fears and not always winning. She feels safest with Van but is sure he would never want someone like her, in fact, she thinks he's a spy for Dante. While she and Van grow closer, she continue to look over her shoulder for the buyer she knows is coming for her. An encounter with a dragon shifter and seeing her brother in a crowded food court, has her wolf running scared. In the end, Van convinces her that he will keep her safe, that the buyer actually means her no harm and she realizes that he is her mate. Things end well for the couple when they move in together and she is reunited with the family she left behind when she was bitten and changed.

The Tiger's Lover:
The plot moves at a fast pace and is very easy to read. The characters are well-crafted and likeable with tonnes of personality who you cannot help but get behind wholeheartedly. I liked Dante, he was a hard man but he was really a good man who wanted the best for his pack and when Sadie comes into his life it makes him re-evaluate how he is going about things. I just loved the developing relationship between these two and just how good they were together.
The Hyena's Hope:
I am so glad Rodrigo's story came in book 2. I really liked him in the first book despite his problems controlling his beast and general poor attitude there was something about him that tugged on my heartstrings and The Hyena's hope just took that over the edge into full blown adoration. He is such a sweet, protective guy with an insecure streak and a desperate need to prove himself to his pack. As much as I loved him there were times I just wanted to shake him and Lily both. The secrets Rodrigo was keeping left Lily feeling unbalanced and unsure of where their attraction was heading and Lily's inability to articulate what she wanted frustrated me at the same time as me understanding why, her ex wasn't exactly encouraging of her and her opinions. There is a killer at work in town and they are targeting shifters, Lily is in danger and Rodrigo is torn between duty to his pack and the instinctual need to protect his mate. Can they catch a killer, get rid of an unwanted and frankly irritating ex and both be secure enough to actually build something lasting and meaningful together?

I loved Van. Once he realises that Carol his his mate his gentleness and patience with her is just so sweet. Poor Carol has been through the ringer and she is so damaged by what she has been through that she doesn't think that someone like Van could want her. Van is so supportive of her but can he convince her that she is safe with him and that he will do anything to protect her and help her through what she is facing? Beautifully crafted characters and a compelling story line rounds out this box set perfectly.

A Fantastic collection
The Tiger's Love Sadie had so much going on. A single mother of two. Alexis 15 and she was in that horrible year where she thought she was an adult but really she was just a lost girl and Nate 5 a lovable little boy full of energy and was trying to eat everything she had in the kitchen.
That was until one morning she is shocked to find a little cub instead of her little boy. Shifter weren’t over excepted where they lived and Sadie has no idea what to do. So she went to the local Alpha Dante. He is sex on legs but he rules his pack with an iron fist. She didn’t want that for Nate. But it seems that every time something happened Dante came running.
This is a fantastic story that’s full of twist and turns. I loved the characters and want to be part of this pack. I am so excited to read more from Emilia Hartley. Super addictive you have left me with a glowing feeling in my chest

This is the book ive been waiting for, every since we learn about Carol being kidnapped and her struggle to come to terms with what happened to her but we dont really know what they did to her so this book was a massive insight for us.
Van (Alpha's second in command) doesn't know what to do, he watches his mate Carol struggle but she wont let him in. Plus as she is a newly turned Shifter she doesn't understand the ways of the shifters. Then on top of that she is kidnapped and tortured by crazy doctors. And Van feels guilty about believing she ran away.
So this book is about understanding, Finding the way for them both to learn to trust each other.
But there is still a threat, someone is still looking for Carol.
Oh This is A Fantastic read, I couldnt read it fast enough. I am so loving reading about this Pack

This is a 3 book box set feature three different type of shifters and the woman they want to become their mate. These stories are different from a lot of shifter stories I have read in that the shifters are struggling with the demands of their shifter side. This means that both sides of the couple are struggling with what their feelings mean instead of just the human trying to adjust. My least favorite story was book one where the alpha wolf fall is love with a single human mom. The alpha comes across as close minded and not understanding with no close bonds to his pack. The mom is struggling with a sudden discovery that her six year old boy is a bear shifter. She seems more concerned with keeping this a secret than being open minded about the shifter way of life.
Book 2 focuses on Rodrigo a hyena shifter who has difficulties controlling his beast until he meets Lily. Usually hyena shifters are the bad guys so it is nice to see a good hyena. Rodrigo is really struggling to find his place in the shifter world with a very aggressive beast but Lily calms him down and helps his control. She is also very sweet.
Book 3 tells the story of Van a lion shifter and Carol a wolf shifter. Carol is a new shifter who was struggling with her wolf but was kidnapped and experimented one. Book 2 focuses on Rodrigo a hyena shifter who has difficulties controlling his beast until he meets Lily. Usually hyena shifters are the bad guys so it is nice to see a good hyena. Rodrigo is really struggling to find his place in the shifter world with a very aggressive beast but Lily calms him down and helps his control. She is also very sweet.
Book 3 tells the story of Van a lion shifter and Carol a wolf shifter. Carol is a new shifter who was struggling with her wolf but was kidnapped and experimented one. She was rescued in Book 2 but she is having some real issues. She is struggling to control her wolf and her panic attacks. She is afraid that the bad guy will come and capture her again. The strength to lean on another
This is one of my favorite collections by this author. The characters are so realistic and endearing as they are perfectly imperfect, and each story just sneaks in and grabs a hold of your heart as the couple work their way towards their HEA. These books are sure to bring you many hours of reading enjoyment.

What a great escape into overcoming trauma and moving forward. The author has really outdone herself with this book. I loved how these two characters came together and couldn't help their feelings despite fighting it. I didn't blame Sadie for being hesitant being she wasn't a shifter and was struggling with what the men in her past had done. I loved how Dante slowly came to accept their may be another way and that he was willing to take the steps to get there. Good read!

Roderigo is a Hyena shifter and believes he needs to be locked up to control his animal. Use to be a cage but now its just a secured room.
Lily catches her boyfriend cheating and decides to boot him out. She is moping and doesn't want to leave the apartment thanks to her friends she actually gets out and about but they didn't tell her they were taking her to a shifter bar.
I enjoyed Roderigo's story I am glad he can be tamed but it did take the right person to do it.

Sadie is a single mother and when she found her six year old changed into a bear cub she needed help from Dante, the town's Alpha. I love that the people in town knew about the shifters and how Dante got the shifters to be more acceptable for them. Dante and Sadie had a connection and no matter how much they fought it the pull was too strong. They brought out the best in each other and I loved them as a family. The Tiger's Love is a well written, page turning story with a great HEA.

The Hyena's Hope Rodrigo is sending all kinds of mixed singles. No wonder Lily is so confused. Rodrigo is afraid that he will lose Lily. Trying to stay away from her so the kidnapper will not target her. Trying to find him before he takes another one. Things are getting tight. Very good story. Exciting and uncertainty make it were I'm sitting on the edge of my seat.

This is an excellent box set containing three different stories about shifters. Although the books link together, each story is different. I absolutely loved each of these books.
The Tiger’s Love, a story of acceptance.
Dante sees himself as a beast and although he is drawn to Sadie, he feels that he is wrong for her.
Sadie as a single mother to an active little boy and a rebelling teenager feels she has enough to deal with without suddenly finding out that her ex was a shifter and her little boy changes into a little bear. She knows of only one person who may be able to help her, but he is very scary, but for her child she will face him.
The Hyena’s Hope, a story about realising you deserve more.
Rodrigo has trouble controlling his beast but when he meets Lily, she can sooth his beast and keep him quiet. Lily has just ended a six-year relationship and is now just realising how controlling her ex was. She wants to change for the better and once she meets Rodrigo, she thinks he is very much better.
The Lion’s Loyalty is about helping others.
Van has known since Carol’s return that she is his mate. But she is scared after she was kidnapped by two doctors. Since her rescue she jumps at the slightest noise and her beast takes over to protect her. She thinks Van is hanging around to report back to Dante that she is too damaged to live.

I have read each of these wonderful stories as individual books, and am very pleased to see them together in one box set.

This well-devised storyline has a range of feelings incorporated; confusion, anger, empathy, hurt, fear and love, all pointing us to the changes that both main characters must make if they are to gain their happy ever after. Dante and Sadie are both strong characters who deserve to be together.
The Hyena's Hope
Lily has just broken up with a long tern boyfriend and is not really interested in a new relationship. Rodrigo is still struggling to control his animal, but is only when he is near Lily that he feels calm. When danger threatens not only his clan but Lily, how can he protect both and still stay sane? The second book tells the story of one of the newly turned men in the pack, and the third story is about the second in command within the same pack.

These stories are unique, with fun, adventure, thrills and love that overcomes. Even fated mates have things to learn before their relationships can come together. I love the HEA's, the characters are developed. The world building is good, you can get a mental picture of where they are and what's happening. I liked that the mates stuck to their standards and helped their partners become better people/shifters. This is a fairly easy read series, lots of interest, lots of love, intrigue and "I want to smack you" moments because the reader knows both sides of the relationship. I enjoyed reading this series as I enjoy many by this author.

This box set has three different types of male shifters - Dante, a tiger shifter and the Alpha; Roderic, a hyena shifter and newly changed shifter; and Van, a lion shifter. Two of the stories include human mates that are met because of various reasons and one mate is a wolf shifter who has been through a lot. This book shows many different situations in which people today find themselves and helps to show healing, changes for the better and heart. I loved reading these stories and can't wait for more like them. All three stories are linked and one leads directly into the next, so they must be read in order. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing these males find their due!. Thank you. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of the book.

Awesome story very cute The Lion's Loyalty-Van is a lion shifter and knows that Carol a wolf shifter is his mate ,but now he don't know how to help her after her ordeal. Very cute story

First, you may want to read the second book in this set first to understand the relationships best. Second, this is a three-book set about a diverse group of shifters under the guidance of Alpha, Dante. Each of these shifters finds their mates when they least expect it and where they don't see them coming. Each book can stand alone, but read together the reader can get to know the group and their interaction. The plots are full of action, danger, and unforeseen problems. April 5, 2020These stories are heartwarming and very engaging. The strong pack of shifters find their mates. I love the women, they are all fabulous characters, and very different personalities. I loved Dante getting a ready made family including teenage daughter - this story was really lovely, the mother fighting to help her son, who she finds out is a shifter when he turns into a bear cub, confronting the pack leader to get help. I thoroughly recommend these stories to anyone who enjoys reading a series of interconnected paranormal romance stories in one binge read worthy box set

Beasts is a Box Set of 3 Steamy Standalone rough, rugged and irresistibly sexy alpha males Novellas written by Emilia Hartley. They are exceptionally well written stories of shifters finding their mates. This is great set to read at any time. The Characters in each book are well written with issues which they resolve and the characters evolve with the stories. I cannot wait for other books or better yet Box Sets come from this Author she is one of my favorites. Included in this box set is: The Tiger's Lover, The Hyena's Hope, and The Lion's Loyalty

This is an amazing box set. It contains 3 stories all of which are well written, attention grabbing and contain enough suspense to keep you reading. This is a book that you will just want to read "one more chapter" and then you realise it's 3 in the morning! I liked the fact that the 3 sories although are interconnected can also be read as standalones and it was also different in the fact that the shifter pack in which the stories revolve around are different breeds of shifter rather than say all wolves or tigers. It definately deserves a 5 star rating

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Beasts by Emilia Hartley is a boxed set trilogy of amazing shifter tales. I originally read two of the three as they were released. I jumped at the chance to re-read the first two and get the (bonus) third one. These sexy reads (Mature Readers Only Please) are fast paced and feed into high emotions. Be prepared to laugh, sniffle (ok, maybe cry a little), groan and just plain old enjoy the heck out of these reads.

3 amazing shifter books written by an amazing author. Each book in this set has an alpha male trying to protect his mate. The books will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions as each couple tries to find their place with each other, pack members, and their selves. You are dragged into the book from page 1 until the end. The story flows smoothly. The characters are well thought about, written and established with flaws that help make the growliest alpha seem real.

Oh wow, what a brilliant box set of three different couples, book 1 Dante , pack leader and Sadie with her bear cub son and wayward daughter. Book 2 , Lily and Roderigo, two lonely souls looking for peace and love and lastly book 3. Carol, a frightened Wolf shifter, who has undergone some terrible things and Van, Dante’s bartender, who will do anything to protect and love Carol.
I love ALL these stories and they intertwine each other. I highly recommend this box set and moreso if you love shifters, which I do.

This is a great shifter series which shows how they all stand up for each other and protect those who they consider to be family. This is an excellent set of shifter love stories revolving around a single pack. Each story is unique into itself and can be read stand alone, just the characters overlap. ;I enjoyed each story very much. Each of the shifters were different being LION, TIGER AND JACKEL. I would recommend this set of stories. They were good.

I had actually read The Tiger’s Lover and The Hyena’s Hope previous to reading the last one, The Lion’s Loyalty. If you enjoy paranormal, you don’t want to miss this threesome. Stories range from a child suddenly shifting, evil preying on a mate, and a feeling of failing a mate who now has PTSD. Each book is a stand-alone with a HEA. What more can you ask for? Good read!

Emelia definitely captivates you with each of these shifter books. You have some humor and have lots of intense moments. Not knowing who's doing what, who if anyone is going to be captured, who if anyone will die and so on. Each book has its own alpha male and the woman they fall for.
Learning to live with a beast inside you is difficult add in finding your mate and kidnapping definitely adds suspense.
