HOT romance to thaw even the coldest of hearts. When Serena Copeland is forced to run from the authorities, wrongly accused of the attempted murder of a local Squire, she has to leave the place that has become her home. But once she adapts to the idea, there’s an excitement that she cannot suppress. Might she finally learn the truth about her parentage and her mother’s ancestry – something that has been a taboo subject up until now?Travelling incognito, desperate to avoid those who would have her thrown into jail, she becomes embroiled with Gabe Sherringham – a reprobate smuggler who is not quite what he seems. Having acted foolishly in a moment of weakness, she resolves to avoid him at all cost, but fate, it seems, has other ideas...Amongst the first to admit that he is a law-breaker and entirely void of a romantic disposition, Gabe is initially somewhat amused and then intrigued by the depth of his attraction to the mysterious woman thrown into his path. But when things come to a head, it’s a race against time – and now there’s nothing amusing about the situation at all.
A passionate love story, packed with intrigue, action and romance. Lose yourself in the romantic world of Claire Firth's Regency Undone Series.
I've always loved reading Regency Romance and from an early age was hooked on Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer – such beautifully written books. Like many authors, I spent my early years penning manuscripts that never saw their way out of the drawers I stuffed them into, until one day I decided to change that. I've never looked back and write in a variety of genres under different pen names!
My Regency Romances are slightly shorter and HOTTER than either of the authors above, but I hope that I've kept the very necessary elements of an emotionally charged romance, and characters who are flawed but believable. The slow burn (and sometimes explicit) build of sexual tension is the icing on the cake!

This was a fast paced story, with plenty of action. Serena Copeland needed to escape from the authorities and on her way to her aunt’s house, she meets Gabe Sherringham. Gabe is a younger son and although a self made man, he helps out the local people by smuggling. There is a mystery about Serena’s father and her mother’s background. Serena and Gabe have an attraction and they do act on it but Serena knows it can’t develop because of her background. There is also a danger to Serena from a known enemy. Gabe’s relation, Max seemed an interesting character, I hope he gets his own story. This was an entertaining read that I really enjoyed. I’m going to read the first two in the series now!
An engaging, passion filled and tender novella. Serena and Gabe are a match made in heaven. They have a hot and heavy first meeting and their feelings for each other grow over time. There is an exciting and fast-paced side story involving smugglers and a second romance between Serena’s mother, Peggy, and Henry Fanshawe. It is an engrossing, enjoyable and thrilling book filled with fascinating characters and gripping adventures as well as being a steamy, erotic romance that gives all the feels but doesn’t take too long to read, perfect!
This short and sexy fast-paced Regency romance (with a lovely cover) will be sure to maintain your attention throughout. Serena must run from a vindictive royal after she stabbed him during an attack. After that was meeting up with a known rogue who was into illicit privateering to benefit the villagers. Using different aliases, they meet up with the need of circumventing her vengeful royal stalker. An easy and enjoyable read for those who enjoy a hot and sensual historical genre.
Enjoyed reading all three books in the series. Very good descriptions of the lead role Serena that brought her character out and an interesting back story around smuggling. Not everyone was nobility and showed the diversity of different backgrounds mixing well and love overcoming all. Would certainly read more of her stories.
An enjoyable story from the regency period. I love that it wasn't based in London. Touches on free trade or smuggling as it can also be called and delves into a different way of looking at life back then.
I’m glad I took a chance on this author. This book was well-written and fast-paced with some delicious naughty bits. Gabe is a very likeable, magnetic, and sensuous H. Serena is a pragmatic, stubborn, yet emotionally-vulnerable h. The secondary characters are intriguing as well. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and I will look for more from this author.
