I love all of this author's magical stories, and this on fit right in with the fantasies I enjoy.
Lilliana has lost her memory and doesn't understand how. She's been in hiding with her best friend. But, when her friend disappears, she takes it upon herself to begin the search.
Ethan hears a commotion and looks out the window to see a woman hanging from the roof. Rather than allow her to fall and hurt herself, he pulls her into his his apartment with the intent to help her. But when footsteps sound outside his door, and someone comes knocking, looking for Lilliana, the adventure begins. Will they find her friend in time? And what of her memories?
The author leads us an a supernatural journey as the two race against time to find her friend and discover what the mysterious visitor has in store and what it has to do with Liliana. It's nonstop action with a bit of romance and a lot of magic. And I couldn't put it down. It's an easy and quick read and a fun story for an afternoon.
