After a wild night of partying on the last day of spring break, three seventeen-year-old friends Rose, Lily, and Violet wake up to find their best friend Daisy Young is missing and in the small town of Watkinsville, Georgia in 1975 that’s not normal.

As the days go by, everyone starts to wonder how the girl who spent her days with her head in the clouds and had no enemies could go missing. Rumors start that she ran away; that’s until Rose, Lily, and Violet find bones in a riverbank.

Watkinsville descends into madness as Chief Thompson and the newly instated 21-year-old Officer Mark Hollow look into what had happened that night. But only more questions arise as men from around town start to confess for no reason, all with the same story. So Rose, Lily, and Violet and Officer Hollow take it upon themselves to find the killer.

But little do they know they’re running against the clock and things may not be quite what they seem.

Wow, this was petty damn good! I saw a few people reading this on here and the plot sounded interesting so I got the ebook and read it in about three days. (I'm just too lazy to mark it as read until now lol) The characters were the big drew for my plus the setting. A small town in 1975? court my in. I'm a big fan of stranger things so I loved reading about the mid-70s and the style and mindsets. I loved Rose and Mark, they were so cute together and don't get me started on Lily and Violet!!! I loved them so much. I really enjoy the mystery and it actually had me surprised at the end which is hard to do for me given how much I have read mystery. For a YA I personally loved it! and would reread it again next year around the autumn. I highly recommend this if you like 1. A good mystery. 2. Learning about the 70s. 3. Love deep characters and plot. 4. Just enjoy a good read.

Mysteries are always fun. Gritty mysteries set in the Dirty South with all of its weird culture is better. Daisy Chains is a book that follows Rose, Lily and Violet, a trio of friends who were just looking for a fun night. Through twists and turns, their friend Daisy goes missing, but we quickly learn that not all is what meets the eye. As the girls tangle with local law enforcement, Chief Thompson and Officer Mark Hollow, new details emerge in the missing persons case, along with new interests. Daisy Chains is a great story for people looking for a mystery with a twist. Check it out.

I really liked the premise of this book. However, I struggled with reading it because it was riddled with grammatical and punctuation errors. For me, the story started out well but I thought it was a bit slow in places and I guessed the outcome before the end. This author really needs to sort out her editing and proof reading, it was published in a very poor state and for me that's not acceptable. I won't read her work ever again based on this experience.

This is a fantastic book! The charaters are wonderfully realised and the plot and pace keep you hooked from the very first page. The style Samatha adopts means you're transported into the story from the very beginning. It becomes so real that you find yourself following each character's experiences as if they're your own. This is the mark of an accomplished writer who's really going places. I loved the way she carefully and deliberately revealed the story page after page. I found that I couldn't put it down until I'd finished. A fabulous book you have to put on your TBR pile immediately.

The storyline of this book was actually really good. The only reason I give 3 stars is because of the amount of grammatical and spelling errors made in the book. Like most new authors, some editing needed to be done before publish. However, the story was really good and kept me interested! I read it in one sitting!

Lovely novel. The characters were great, the plot flowed nicely, and I loved the way everything fit into place by the end. Will watch out for future stories!

Great Story

Such a good, we'll written story. Loved the character building and mystery of the book which kept me turning the pages, sometimes too quickly that I had to go back.

Great work and I look forward to more from this author.

A really worthwhile read; I enjoyed the relationship dynamic between the girls (all named after flowers) and there were plenty of twists and turns to keep you turning the page. Recommended.
