Montana Mavericks anthology by Rebecca Zanetti
Against the Wall
Montana Mavericks book 1. Contemporary romance with erotic elements.
Sophie is swept off feet, literally, by a cowboy on a horse as they race by. Sophie is entranced with the sexy cowboy but soon learns he’s a lawyer directly opposed to the project she working on. They shouldn’t become involved but the attraction is overpowering.

A sexy, hot relationship that moves fast and impetuously. He is demanding and she is intoxicated by pheromones.
It was steamy and entrancing. His preference for sex outside where the chances of their getting caught were seemingly high added to the tension and erotism.

Under the Covers
2nd book in the Maverick Montana series. Entangled Brazen romance series.
Juliet moved to a small Montana town and opened a business, starting a new life. She and Sheriff Quinn start a steamy relationship that burns hot. But her time is running out and her past is catching up too fast to run from.

Fast moving sexy hot romance. Visits from characters in the other novellas in the series tie the novels together. The young girl that is fascinated by designers shoes is endearing. Bottom line stand up characters are admirable and make this a feel good story.

Rising Assets
Montana Mavericks book 3. Can be read as a stand-alone. Contemporary romance with erotic elements. Friends to lovers troupe.
Colton and Melanie have been friends in their ranching community for a long time. When hard times or situations occur, they stick together. When Colton learns Melanie needs help on the ranch, he’s more than willing to help. When he finds out she wants to get pregnant, he figures he’s the only man for the job.

Oh these macho alpha heroes and their egos. Hot and super sexy guaranteed. Protective and a marshmallow when it comes to a heroine’s needs.

The town betting on the acknowledgment of Colton and Melanie being a couple is humerus.
The couple together is sexy and heartwarming.

Three Hot Books in One Awesome Collection!! Sign Me Up! Montana Mavericks is a fabulous collection of hot alpha males and the women they’ll do anything for.

Montana Mavericks gives you not one, not two, but three scorching hot love stories. I found each story to well written and entertaining. I fell in love with the characters instantly and couldn’t wait to read more. Each story is filled with love, romance, and the importance of family and friends. Each story also had its own blend of danger and intrigue. From undeniable chemistry to will they/won’t they moments with alpha heroes and their strong female leads, this collection of books checked all of my boxes and at the end of the day, it left me with a huge smile on my face.

If you’re looking for a steamy collection of books to wrap yourself in this winter, that you can easily devour in a single sitting, I highly recommend giving this collection a try.

I absolutely loved these stories! The Lodge/Freeze brothers jumped off the pages with their commanding presence. In “Against the Wall”, the oldest brother, Jake Lodge, meets his match in city girl Sophie Smith. Jake is a single dad and not looking for a relationship when Sophie storms her way into his life. They are on opposing sides of land disputes, but the attraction between them is electric. From the minute they give in to temptation, they light up the page. Next up is town Sheriff, Quinn Lodge. He is worried about his re-election and needs the help of Juliet Montgomery. She is running as far away from her past as she can get. They come up with a plan for a pretend relationship that will help him with his campaign. What started out as fake, becomes very real just as Juliet’s past catches up with her. Finally, the youngest brother, Colton Freeze, gets his story. Colt and Melanie have been friends since they were little. After returning home from studying abroad, he starts to see Melanie as a woman and decides to go after what he wants. All of the stories blend really well and readers get to see and stay updated on the lives of the characters throughout the book. I enjoyed reading about this family and the community that they live in.

[I received a digital arc for an honest review]

Montana Maverick
is a mind up of three cowboy romances by Rebecca Zanetti. Each following one of three brothers as they find their happily ever after.

Book 1
Against the Wall

"I told you I'd never lie to you."
"I meant it when I said I was keeping you."

I enjoyed this one it wasn't anything too unique, your typical City Girl meets cowboy opposites attract romance. It follows cowboy single dad lawyer Jack ( haha that was a mouthful) who meets City Girl Sophie when she comes to his tribe for permission to build a golf course. Her career is riding on this job and Jack has to convince her it's not a good idea. She tries to ignore her attraction because they are not working for a common goal. They are from two different worlds and as their passion heats up she risks losing her heart .

Jack is forward and a bit arrogant when it comes to his interactions with Sophie. He is a total cave man, but he's a great dad to his daughter and that's when he shows the soft side. Sophie is determined and headstrong and stubborn. The story was enjoyable even if it was a bit predictable, but I love me a good cowboy romance, so I was more than ok with that especially because I just genuinely enjoy Rebecca Zanetti's writing style. It helped that the steam between Jack and Sophie was on point. They couldn't keep their hands off each other and there are plenty of intimate scenes outside and against walls. 🔥

Book 2
Under the Covers

"She forgot where she was. For the first time in months, she forgot who she was. As he kissed her, she could do nothing but feel."

On top of having a much more action packed ending than the first, this one brings us a fake relationship trope between art gallery owner Juliet whose living in a lie and Quinn her landlord / the sheriff. Juliet doesn't have the money to cover the rent for her gallery and Quinn needs a girlfriend to help him run for office. The two come to an agreement that benefits them both and it's a reason to give into the chemistry between them . Unfortunately it isn't long before her past catches up to her and her lies are forced into the open.

I'm not surprised Quinn is just as alpha male and dominate his brother from the first book. He's takes control over every situation, in and out of the bedroom. His soft spot is in the form of the innocent members of his community. Juliet was a decent character, I just found her frustrating. I really felt she should have trusted him with her secrets way sooner . Once again the chemistry and passion between the main characters was off the charts !🔥

Book 3
Over the Top

"He levered up and kissed her, hard and deep. She lost himself in his mouth, in his determination, in the very maleness that was Colton."

This series has gotten better with each book. This one follows the youngest brother Colton and his best friend Melanie. Melanie wants to have a baby and because of endometriosis she's having to confront that problem now instead of later in her life. Colton has just noticed that he has more than friend like feelings for Melanie, but he's not ready to be a dad. Yet, she can't slow down her pursuit to get pregnant while he figures things out. She's running out of time, and he doesn't like that thought of her being pregnant with someone else's child. Can they handle having a physical relationship without it ruining the friendship they have built.

I think Colton is my favorite of the brothers. While he is headstrong and focused he is a bit less of an alpha brute than his older brothers. That doesn't mean he isn't just as dominating in the bedroom because he definitely takes control when it comes to the intimate relationship with Melanie. I adored Melanie, my heart hurt for her fertility struggles and it was so apparent she would make a wonderful mother. I loved how she pushed Coltons buttons and always challenged him, in and out of the bedroom.🔥

All in all, Montana Mavericks contains three solid cowboy romances. However, I do wish that their sister Dawn's book was included in this bind up because I really want to read it! I guess I'll go one click lol

This is a three book collection about 3 brothers who live and ranch in Montana. Each brother had a book and I have to say I really enjoyed each story. Jake, Quinn, and Colton are the three brothers, sexy alphas, and their three loves, Sophie, Juliet, and Melanie, who are all independent sassy females. Easy reading but Ms. Zanetti writes catchy dialogue, and the storylines were just enough different to be entertaining. I am a series reader anyway, so this book was my cup of tea. Now I have to look for the next book in this series!

2.5 stars…

So to be fair, I read the first 2 of the 3 novels included in this series. While I made it through Jake and Quinn’s stories, it just didn’t hold my interest enough to read about Colton.

I thought the writing was well done, the stories were fairly engaging (although I started skipping through Quinn’s story since I found it a little repetitive).

My main issues with the series were:
1) I genuinely think the male leads were practically carbon copies of each other. They were either grinning, or giving dark stares, and always overly alpha and possessive. Maybe it’s just me, but sometimes it can go a little too overboard - carrying a woman because she won’t listen? Throwing her over your shoulder? Insisting on where she spends her nights “for her safety”? Nope, it was a bit much. In a week I won’t be able to differentiate which one was which since they were described so similarly.
2) Speaking of the male leads, I think the author was trying to fit too many stereotypical romantic hero qualities into each one. Jake is apparently one of the best lawyers in the country (who doesn’t seem to specialize in any one type of law - which is just not real), but he’s also a wild cowboy and a single dad and a widower and…and…and. It was too much wrapped into one character. Same with Quinn…sheriff, cowboy, perpetual playboy. They all fit a mould. I’m sure Colton’s story will be the same…there were already references to his MMA training. Oh, and they all have military backgrounds…but obviously over the top like a Navy Seal, Ranger etc. It made me long for just a normal, average male lead. And their possessiveness extended to their sister…who is 21 and they treat like she’s 14. I didn’t love that at all.

Anyway, well written and interesting enough…but pretty forgettable.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

If you are a fan of sexy Alpha male romances - this collection is definitely for you. It also features three heroes who are of Native American descent and takes place almost entirely on their land in Montana. Their family and community is incredibly close-knit and plays a big role in each story. The books included in this collection were originally released a few years ago - and you can sort of feel some of the age of them - but they hold up! I was strongly reminded of a Kris Michaels or Susan Stoker type of story in each. I also appreciated that as we moved through each story - that they weren't all set within months of each other. The first two are set pretty close in time - but the third is a few years later (and if you can't stand not finishing a series and you read the fourth one separately - you'll find it a little farther along in time.

Bossy Heros? Check. Sassy Heroines who can take care of themselves? Check. Cute kids, awesome family, and fun community? Check.

I recommend this collection if you need an escape this winter!

I will say - I am not as knowledgeable about Native American culture as I should be - and this series - while involving Native American people did not dig too deeply into that culture and includes all white heroines. It would have been nice to see more of that culture. Also - the family involved here is very well off and "owns half of Montana." I always appreciate a rich alpha hero romance fantasy - but that is perhaps not a true representation of most Native Americans in the US.

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

Against The Wall – Sophie has come to town as her family’s future depends on her ensuring the success of her planned development as her. Jake is a tribal lawyer who finds himself on the other side of the issue and it isn’t long before the sparks fly both personally and professionally.

Under The Covers – Juliet is trying to escape her past and is opening an art gallery however finances are becoming a problem. Quinn is the Sheriff who needs a fake relationship to safeguard his career but when Juliet’s past catches up with her there is nothing he won’t do to keep her safe.

Rising Assets – Melanie wants to be a mother but if she waits too long it will no longer be an option. Colton can’t remember a time he hasn’t been friends with Melanie, but they are about to find out that when it comes to their feelings for each other’s friends are only the beginning.

If you like sexy cowboys and feisty women then this is the collection for you.

I think I would have enjoyed this collection of short stories a lot more if I didn't read them in one book. It was too easy to see the repetitive tropes used in all three books. For example: in two out of the three stories, family members walked in on the couple while they were doing it (maybe this family needs to invest in some locks). Three of the three main female characters are single kids with little to no family (what are the odds of that happening?). Three out of the three main male characters are overbearing. Three out of the ten characters had names too similar to my own family members for comfort (it's awkward for me to read sex scenes with a character who has the same name as my in-law or own child). However, three out of the three stories had sexy fun times and were perfect reading for a very stressful week.

Sigh...The only complaint that I have about this 3 book collection is that it's missing book 4. I enjoyed these stories of the Lodge/Freeze family in Maverick Montana so much! I am going to have to get my hands on the 4th book. I am new to Rebecca's books and am definitely going to read more now!

Montana Mavericks: a hot cowboy collection by Rebecca Zanetti

Against the Wall:

My Review.....

Sophie only wants to build the golf course she’s designed. But she’s got to convince half the tribe that live on that land it won’t destroy the beauty of the lake, and the rest of the town that it won’t destroy the quiet. Easy! Not in the slightest! And it doesn’t help that the hot shot lawyer is gorgeous! She just needs to help her uncle and then she’s back to the big city. But the more time she spends in Montana, the harder it is to convince herself.....

Jake doesn’t want a golf course anywhere near his home. What he does want is the sexy designer sent out to sell the idea to his grandfather and the town. But he knows she’s ok you here for a short time. So he needs to either get rid of the gorgeous distraction or make a permanent play for her.....

it’s a hot story filled with family and home.

Under the Covers:

My Review.....

Juliet is new in town, and she loves it here, the small community feel like hone, they feel safe, and she’s not felt safe in a long time. Opening an art gallery is a dream come true, and now she has an artist to show, things are looking up. But she’s always keeping her eye out for trouble! And also the sexy sherif....

Quinn knows Juliet is hiding something, he doesn’t know what it is, but he has the urge to remove those shadows from her face. But Quinn has his own demons to face, he can’t get Juliet involved, can he?

While Juliet are sorting out their feelings for one another, someone from her past is getting closer, and that could spell trouble for the sheriff and his woman....

Hot and heavy, with intrigue, betrayal and murder thrown in for good measure.

Rising Assets:

My Review....

Melanie and Colton have been best friends forever. But they’ve not been as close in the last few years, Colt has college and his degree to obtain before returning back to the family ranch to take over the business side. And Mel has been busy running the family ranch on her own.

Losing the only member of her family has Melanie re-evaluating her life. The ranch is failing and she needs to do three jobs in order to keep it afloat, loans from friends are a big no-no

Colton doesn’t know what to think anymore, it’s always been him, Mel and their buddy Hawk, but only coming home for the holidays has left Colt feeling a little out of it. Sure his family keep him up to date with life on the ranch, but why is he only hearing about Mel’s money worries now?!

A friends to lovers read. Both have had feelings for one another for ages, but if they go with their feelings they could get hurt and lose their best friend! Why can’t it go back to being in the friend zone?

Please note: Each book in the Montana Maverick series has been previously published.

Publication date 30/3/2021

My Reviews......

I really enjoyed them all. Hot and sexy like most of the authors reads.

I love Rebecca’s other series that she’s written, so when you put an alpha male in a cowboy hat and boots, then I’m there.

I was hoping that all the siblings would be in this collection. Sadly the baby sister’s book wasn’t included!

My favourite in the set, probably Quinn and Juliet, it had intrigue and just a little more content. But it’s a great Boxset regardless.

This collection includes 3 books in the Maverick Montana series. Each book features a sexy cowboy and their steamy journey into HEA. Three brothers, three fierce women and a small town.

Against the Wall: I loved Sophie and Jake's story. They had an instant attraction and their chemistry was sizzling hot. I don't usually enjoy insta-love romances, but there was enough content to make this romance not only believable but enjoyable too. This story worked very well as the first book in a series. I liked getting to know Jake's family members and the small town residents. They all added something to the story which made gave the story a good balance between the romance and the main plot of the story. It also gave the reader an insight into what to expect from the next books in the series--a steamy romance and a great mix of humor, drama and intrigue.

Under the Covers: Juliet and Quinn had been mentioned in the previous book and I was intrigued on how their story was going to play out. Unlike the previous book, Quinn and Juliet knew each other a little and had been dancing around each other for a while. They weren't exactly friends but they had interacted enough to know that there was an undercurrent of something between them. I enjoyed seeing them finally give in into their attraction as well and as seeing their initial connection grow. Their chemistry was already palpable, but it sure was a treat to finally see it explode into something more. Although their story wasn't necessarily light and fun, it still had a well-balanced use of elements. I enjoyed seeing the family and the town residents and all they added to the story as well as the romance and sizzling chemistry between Quinn and Juliet.

Rising Assets: Melanie and Colton's story was my favorite of this collection. I loved their camaraderie and banter, but I especially enjoyed watching them struggle and eventually accept how they felt about each other. True, it took them a while to come to terms with their feelings and what it would mean for their friendship, but they did and it all made for a fun, romantic read! Colton was hilarious in his denial, with his logical and methodical approach to their situation. I loved him. He was adorable in his delusion that they were just friends. Yeah, right, with that chemistry? I don't think so. Uff, it was H.O.T. Once again, the Freeze family and the town residents took this story to the next level with their antics and meddling. I loved it.

Although the Maverick Montana series consists of 4 books, this collection only includes 3 of them. And there were all fantastic. The fourth book (which I am definitely one-clicking soon!) tells Dawn (Jake, Quinn and Colton's baby sister) and Hawk's story.

This is a paperback copy of the first THREE books in the Maverick Montana series previously published in eBook format. I'm SO happy I can hold Jake, Quinn and Colton in my hands! (Yeah I said it!)

This is an exciting world with sexy cowboys, stubborn women and an endearing, loving (and nosy) community. I highly recommend you grab this book! 3 stories for the price of 1! Can't go wrong with that!

Against the Wall
Jake and Sophie have amazing chemistry together. Sophie is helpless against the hunky cowboy! The supporting cast are amazing! The townspeople are diabolical in their matchmaking of Jake and Sophie. It’s entertaining and so funny! I enjoyed every word of the story!

If you love sexy, alpha male cowboys too stubborn to quit, then you’ll enjoy the entire Maverick, Montana series! Jake Lodge, his brothers Quinn and Colton and good friend Hawk are brilliantly and exasperatingly written! Their ladies are strong and beautiful and paired perfectly with each cowboy.

Under the Covers
I can't get enough of these yummy cowboys!!

Rebecca Zanetti sure knows how to write sexy cowboys! This book showcases Sheriff Quinn Lodge. He is noble, honest and sexy as hell! He has his hands full with Juliet Montgomery, the fiery-haired woman who’s recently opened the art gallery in town.

You don’t want to miss the action, suspense and the explosive passion. A must read for any romance reader!

Rising Assets
Melanie and Colton’s story was an emotional journey filled with flirtation, humor and a love so beautiful, both are too stubborn enough to admit. Colton was completely dense about Melanie and her feelings for him. He didn’t realize it until it was almost too late. Melanie was very headstrong and constantly fought with Colton, who often played her seriousness off as a joke. The pair complements each other well and it was entertaining to watch them come to terms with their feelings for one another.

What I really love about this small town is that there are no secrets from anyone there. Everyone is in everyone else’s business and it is so fun to watch as the entire town gets in on the matchmaking. I also love the strong family aspect of the book as well. At one point in the story, Colton made a huge mistake and instead of ridiculing him for it, the family pulled together and supported him.

I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get to see much Hawk and Dawn action. We’ve always known Hawk is a quiet man with many secrets; only now he’s become more mysterious and I can’t wait until his story is revealed in the next book!

Another great read from Rebecca Zanetti!

What a wonderful anthology of the first 3 books of Maverick Montana by Rebecca Zanetti. It's about small town, a modern Native American family and romantic suspense elements. No one writes family dynamics as well as Rebecca Zanetti. She does a perfect job of telling serious or suspenseful stories and breaking up the tension with laugh out loud humor.

Against The Ropes is the eldest of the Lodge-Freeze family, Jake Lodge who is a tribal lawyer. He finds himself tangling with a desperately determined big city golf course designer working for her Uncle's company that's on the edge financially. She has to land this development and convince this small town and the Kooskia Tribe to agree with this golf course.

Under The Covers is second eldest Quinn Lodge who is the county Sheriff. He is massively drawn to the town's art gallery owner Juliet Montgomery who has secrets. Quinn is being hassled by the Governor's niece and he's running for reelection. To keep her at bey he asks Juliet to be his fake date and in trade he'll suspend her rent at the gallery. Julia is out of money and is pretty sure her drug dealing step brother is hot on her heels and figures it's time to run again. She agrees to stay through the election and her brother finds her. Quinn has to step in to protect her with the rest of his very capable family.

Rising Assets is the next oldest brother, Colton Freeze's story with his best friend Melanie Jacoby. Melanie, Colton and Hawk Rain have been buddies their whole lives. Melanie has female problems and has decided if she's going to be a mother she'll have to save some eggs for the future. If that doesn't work, it's time for in-vitro now. When Colton thinks her long time dating partner Brian has knocked her up, he and Mel have a heated argument that becomes a torrid kiss. When the town that has no secrets gets involved it makes for some really humorous scenes.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this anthology. I also own the individual books. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This boxset contains the first three books of the Maverick Montana series:

Against the Wall – Jake and Sophie, an opposites attract romance
Under the Covers – Quinn and Juliet, a fake relationship romance
Rising Assets - Colton and Melanie, a best-friends-to-lovers romance

These are the books of the Lodge/Freeze brothers, cowboys and members of a native tribe, living in the small town of Mineral Lake in Montana. I say cowboys, but there’s so much more to them than just the ranch that they share. Jake is an attorney, Quinn the county Sheriff, and Colton is a CEO and financial whiz. They share a wonderful bond, a strong sense of protectiveness, and a deep love for their family and their women. And each of them is alpha to the core.

Their heroines are strong women who each come from different backgrounds, and these books are really enjoyable romances. They are satisfyingly easy reads that are sweet and sexy with a little bit of drama, and each one becomes a bit more suspenseful than the last. But they are angst-free with light and funny moments, and the perfect easy escape reads.

Each book is a standalone that connects to the others in the series with a lot of character crossover. And the earlier books contain build-up for the later books, so definitely best to read them in order

I binged these books back to back, unable to let these characters or their quirky little town go. Fun, easy, sexy romance with a suspenseful twist, I loved this series.

4 stars!

Once you’ve read this collection, don’t forget to pick up the fourth book in the series – Over the Top, which is the story of the youngest Lodge/Freeze sibling, Dawn. It rounds out the series beautifully.

I have read the books in this series before, but it is fun revisiting them and experiencing the family camaraderie all over again. The Lodge-Freeze family is a powerful dynamic and is accepting of all those around them

Against The Wall: I loved the instant connection between Jake and Sophie. They were on fire together and just had this strong magnetism that pulled them immediately to each other. Jake could be a little high handed at times. But i guess that is what makes him an alpha male. It appears that all the men in that family have that trait.

Under The Covers: We met Juliet briefly in Against The Wall and I laughed at Leila's mentioning her and the comments she made. But it was great to get her whole story. Her chemistry with Quinn was sizzling. Their sparks came through in all their scenes. He got a little over the top alpha on her few times, but she dished it right back, thus making their fire explode. Quinn is a very strict by the book sheriff and Juliet had secrets that were not so welcoming. Thankfully Quinn and Juliet got past the craziness and came to their senses. The whole family and community truly made this book that much more special.

Rising Assets: I love best friends to lovers themed stories and this one did not disappoint. Colton and Melanie had such a deep understanding of how the other was, a little afraid to go for more, not wanting to leave Hawk out of their friendship, but once the match lit, it was pretty much game over. I loved their feistiness with each other, challenging one another, and the humor they had between themselves and their family. Once again the Lodge-Freeze families take a huge part in this story and offer loads of entertainment and wisdom. And the betting on when Melanie and Colton would get together was icing on the cake.

The most delicious three-course hot cowboy feast!

Mmmmmm, these three brothers are as hot as they come! A little bit dommy, a little bit spanky, a whole lot of power and control - these guys bring all the heat and all the heart to their heart-racing romances.

Jake is up first as he finds himself chasing his adversary, Sophie, as they tangle over development plans for the area. She's convinced she's not worth anything more than a fling, but when the unexpected happens, all the rules fly out the window and it's all she can do to hang on.

Next, Quinn takes on art gallery owner Juliet, who is hiding some very dangerous secrets. Quinn is up for reelection as sheriff and asks Juliet to pretend to be his girlfriend to deter his backers' attempts to set him up. Naturally, they aren't playing pretend for very long.

Finally, youngest brother Colton is forced to come to terms with his feelings for his childhood best friend, Melanie, when her health issues threaten the future she dreams of.

Throughout all three of these stories, we get to know the amazing community and extended family members. The boys' mother, Loni, is a wonderfully strong woman who loves fiercely and isn't afraid to bet on their success. The stories include several other important characters, friends and family members alike, making this a truly unforgettable trip to a charming Montana town.

If you love hot cowboys, independent women, love worth fighting for, and a community that becomes your second home, you owe it to yourself to grab this book and plan your visit to Maverick, Montana. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Montana Mavericks: a hot cowboy collection by Rebecca Zanetti is a collection of previously published cowboy stories. Totally there is a set of four stories with three of them in this one anthology. I am not sure if these stories have been revised or updated in any way. Just know that the publisher is different now.

These stories were the first I had read of Rebecca Zanetti’s contemporary stories back in the day. I knew her as a paranormal romance writer. She brings her steady moving plot, likable if stubborn male and her strong decisive female characters to the cowboy world. Expect some drama, some conflict, lots of steamy attraction heats up the pages and a happily ever after for these couples.

Against the Wall has lawyer Jake Lodge pitted against city girl Sophie Smith in the world of business. Definitely attraction between the two from the beginning even if they are on opposites sides on her business venture.

Under the Covers brings Juliet Montgomery looking to start a new life, leaving her past behind which is harder than it should be. Sheriff Quinn Lodge comes to her aid while trying to deny the growing attraction between them.

Rising Assets deals with the difficult subject of infertility and endometriosis. Real world heartbreak for many who want a baby. It is done with style and sensitiveness. A friendship to love story.

Romance so you expect a happily-ever-after by the end. The fun is the getting there. Contemporary cowboy romance fans will love this hot collection.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

****4.5 stars!****

Happiness really is a boxset called Montana Mavericks.

*happy sighs*

Oh, let me count the ways...

*ticks off fingers*

Not one hot cowboy story.

Not two hot and swoony cowboy stories.

But three hot, swoony and, (drum roll please) dominant cowboy stories.

Dayum, talk about testosterone overload! Like manna from heaven, I was in a trope-a-licious delight with the Lodge/Freeze brothers and the women that captured their hearts.

Each story is the perfect mix of sweet, spicy and a dash of suspense. *whispers* I swear I have never wanted to be pinned to a wall more! *snorts* What can I say? *shrugs* The brothers have a thing. Plus *taps chin*, how to put this delicately – (wait for it!) an oral fixation *coughs* was a common theme... *winks*

What was that?

Pfft, you know me, I don’t play favourites *whistles*.

Okay, okay – the Sheriff aka Quinn held a certain appeal. I blame the cuffs! *giggles*

Family, love, and honour are core values our cowboys hold dear, and when it comes to those they love, there are no lengths they won’t go to to protect them (metaphorically and physically) from harm.

What I love about Rebecca Zanetti’s writing is the way she effortlessly pulls you into the story and how you connect with the characters almost immediately. I mean, I’m not saying you become emotionally invested but... you totally do!

I could just go with flow and not overthink everything as I knew it would all come good in the end. Even with a few angsty (including voicing my opinion to certain characters) and heart in the mouth moments along the way.

You want to read this boxset now, don’t you? *smirks*

Annddd my work here is done!

I’m a long-time fan of Rebecca Zanetti’s romantic suspense books. I can’t say I’m a huge cowboy hero fan, but I’m enough of a Rebecca Zanetti fan to overlook that and jump right in. Her books are known for the well-blended trifecta of romantic suspense: a captivating storyline with a captivating mystery and intrigue, a well-paced plot, and steamy scenes. And three books in one? Who could resist that?!

Wait. Did I say I wasn’t a huge cowboy hero fan? Might have to rethink that one after reading this collection! Those Lodge/Freeze boys (and gal!) have completely captured my curiosity. I’m not a 100% pure alpha hero fan, either, but in the end, these guys totally won my heart because they weren’t afraid to let their women be strong, independent, and successful in their own rights, despite some less than stellar comments from time to time. But then again, my own husband makes those and I have to remind him that while I respect his leadership in our family, he’s not a dictator, either. I think that’s a common theme among men in law enforcement and the military, but since these guys come around, I mostly forgave them for those slipups.

Whether you are drawn to cowboy heroes or not, I say give these guys a chance. I did, and I don’t regret a single second I spent in their world. With 3 books in one, I had to pace my reading, or I would have spent the majority of a 24-hour period without sleep. Now, please tell me Hawk gets a book!

I give Montana Mavericks by Rebecca Zanetti 4 out of 5 stars!

MONTANA MAVERICKS is a hot Cowboy collection written by Rebecca Zanetti. Three incredible stories about three incredible brothers. AGAINST THE WALL: Last thing city girl Sophie Smith expects is to be yanked off her feet by a cowboy. Jake Lodge is not just a cowboy but also a shrewd lawyer opposing Sophie’s company’s project. Could Sophie ignore the storm of passion between Jake and Sophie which rages like the storms over the Montana landscape? 6-6/6: UNDER THE COVERS: Juliet Montgomery fled to Montana to escape her not-so-law-abiding family, but she couldn’t escape the sexy sheriff Quinn Lodge. Can he push his demon aside and contain his explosive attraction to Juliet to keep her safe? Brother number three, Colton Freeze in RISING ASSETS, has been best friends with Melanie Jacoby who longs for Colten to see her more than just a friend. A heated argument turns into an even hotter kiss. Will their new freidns-with0benefits arrangement destroy everything they once shared?
All three brothers’ adventures sizzle on the pages with their ladyloves, and their Native American heritage binds them to their land, their family, and their community. MONTANA MAVERICKS is a fantastic collection of three sexy, alpha brothers and the strong and independent female characters who can stand on equal grounds to bring a balance of passion, trust, and love. Rebecca Zanetti knows how to write hot, scorching romances that will leave you panting for more.

This is a collection of three previously published books featuring the Lodge/Freeze brothers

The first book Against the Wall is Jake and Sophie's story. She's in town for her latest project when she's suddenly yanked atop a stallion by a very sexy cowboy. The last thing she expects is for him to be the lawyer opposing her company's project. He's a single father with a big family and the cutest little girl who says the funniest things. ( I think Jake is my favorite hero amongst the brothers)

The second book is Under the Covers. This is Quinn and Juliet's book. They've spent time avoiding each other and denying their attraction. Juliet figures it's for the best because she's hiding something. Quinn's PTSD has kept him from getting too serious with anyone. Now that they've started sleeping together he plans on keeping her.

Finally, we have Rising Assets. This one is about Colton and Melanie. They've been best friends for a long time, she's juggling a lot of things at once and Colton is where she seeks comfort. When a heated argument turns into an even hotter kiss they blur the lines of friendship.

If you love cowboys you can't go wrong with this collection. If you like Alpha cowboys Jake and Quinn definitely fulfill that trope. And Jake is my favorite.

Thanks so much to Entangled, Netgalley and the author for this ARC to review.

I love a good series with a family as the main characters linking the books together. Family squabbles, siblings banter, and all those pent-up petty crimes that can be unleashed in revenge in adulthood!

Against the Wall - Sophie just wants to get her golf course built. She didn't expect so much co-ordinated opposition! She sure as heck didn't expect to fall for the oppositions Lawyer, the handsome, intelligent but oh so Alpha, Jake. He comes with an added extra, his cute as a button daughter who is way ahead of the rest of the pack and so good at manipulating people LOL.

Under the Covers- Juliet is keeping secrets and Quinn, the town's Sheriff, just can't let go until he knows what this damn tempting woman is hiding. But when her secrets come home to roost he may just wish he had kept a lid on his curiosity.

Rising Assets - Melanie and Colton have been friends pretty much since they were tots. But they are both too scared to cross that line into romance. But when her hopes to start a family are diminishing in front of her, will her buddy step up and help or will he cower in the friend zone?

Second chance love, love on the run, friend to lovers - there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Montana Mavericks by R. Zanetti, published by Entangled Publishing, is a collection and contains the first three books in this series.
Against the Wall is Sophie and Jake's story.
Sophie is a city girl, works as designer and is in rural somewhere to show her plans for a golfcourse.
Jake is a single dad, native american and the tribe's lawyer. He's an alpha hero through and through. He shouldn't like his opponent, but their attraction is pretty high.
A fast paced, drama filled, action packed read that had me in suspense till the last page, 5 stars.

Under the Covers is Quinn and Juliet's story.
Quinn is the second oldest brother, an ex SEAL, now the town's Sheriff, annnd landlord to Juliet.
Juliet is a gallery owner, rather new in town, and she keeps secrets close to her. Secrets that are about to bring great danger to the Mavericks.

Rising Assets is Colton and Melanie's story.
Colton is fresh from college and meets his childhood best friend, Melanie. She works as waitress at a bar , what he strongly dislikes.
Rising Assets is a friends - to- lovers story, well written, with lovable characters. A great read, a fantastic collection, I loved reading this books , 5 stars.

The perfect combination of romance, intrigue, suspense and steam

Against the Wall
I caught her, I get to keep her......this is what Jake says the very first time he meets Sophie
Their story was so much fun

I loved the "meddling" of his family from picnics, to family dinners to an art studio. Such a wonderful place for someone who felt like she never belonged to find herself.

Their chemistry was off the charts and the way that Leila takes to her immediately was precious.

Under the Covers
What an amazing story. Sparks definitely fly when a pretend relationship between the county sheriff and the art gallery owner heats up. Can they survive when her past secrets come out?

Rising Assets
Colton & Melanie have been best friends, along with Hawk, since preschool. They've always been there for each other. One kiss changes everything. Can these best friends get out of their own heads and see what has been right on front of them for so long?

This entire series was phenomenal and I had to immediately one-click the last book in the series to find out what happens!

Against the Wall: City girl Sophie Smith arrives in Montana to oversee her latest project. Jake Lodge, a single dad who’s also a lawyer opposes her company’s project. They both come from two different worlds. Sophie has everything riding on her success. No matter how tempting Jake may be, she can’t fail.

Under the Covers: Sexy Sheriff Quinn Lodge enlists the help of art gallery owner Juliet Montgomery to feign a relationship to win the next election. She fled to Montana to get away from her unlawful family members. Someone discovers her near the Kooskia Reserve causing Quinn to try to keep her safe.

Rising Assets: Colton Freeze and Melanie Jacobs’s good friendship slowly burns into something more. She wants a family but things are looking slim with a diagnosis of endometriosis until she turns to Colton for solace.

All three books were entertaining and a good way to fill some time with “family interaction” of their stories.

NOTE: Montana Mavericks is now a movie starring Katherine MacNamera and Dennis Andres.

This is an omnibus edition that contains the first three books in Rebecca Zanetti's Maverick Montana series. Each book follow's one of three brother's: Luke, Quinn, and Colton, finding an HEA. If you like romantic suspense, hot alpha cowboys, and strong, feisty female leads, then I would definitely pick this one up. With each book centered around one of the brothers, in the town of Maverick Montana, there's a sense of family and community with each book which lends to great supporting characters that add levity and humor to the books as well. I really like Rebecca Zanetti's writing style and her romance is hot and scorching the pages, definitely worth the read.

Great way to start the New Year with a trilogy of Montana hunky men. Three brothers find three women to love and lust after. The men are on reserve of the Kooskia nation but not much is revealed about their heritage. All are brainy, a lawyer, sheriff, and finance expert and two have served in the Forces. The women are an artist, a gallery owner with a secret and the girl-next-door rancher. Seems time lines were a bit off, how could Sophie get enough paintings done for a gallery opening with a small child and new husband. The talk of the men fixing the fences after storms with twine (??) was puzzling cause of course that wouldn’t hold a butterfly til I reasoned that twine must be Montana speak for barbed wire! Love Zannetti and await other books.

I just love these cowboy stories. There's suspense, action, danger, steam and sexy cowboys. I love the small town and close knit family. They are always there for one another, no questions asked. The heroines give the heroes a run for their money which is always fun to read. But their alpha personalities give right back to their females and we get so many spicy encounters. I just love these 3 brothers and of course Dawn's story in Over the Top is great too!

Book number one, amazing.
Book number two, this is pretty great but the brothers are kinda the same person.
Book number three, wow the author only knows how to write one kind of hero.

These are all fine (Jake's is definitely the best) but the hero characters are just too similar to smash them all into one book. The wild alpha male with military trauma who's controlling in bed is my jam....but when all three brothers are making the same moves??? Yawn.
