Although this is a short fast read the stories inside are well written and intriguing. There is enough variety to keep you reading on and some of them truly make you think.
This book is perfect if you want a light read one night or to read in short sharp bursts when commuting to work or on lunch breaks.
The only downside I have seen in this book is some of the stories leave me wanting more and could well be a novel in there own right if the material was expanded on. (not really a negative more of a preference)

The trio of stories ending with The Dusty Letter were particularly engaging, proving that the short story format can still create characters you truly feel for.
