I loved this book! Its witty, emotional and a fascinating portrayal of a regular family’s ups and downs. Julie writes such well rounded characters that I was already emotionally invested after the first book in this series ‘Frank’. Set in 90’s Airdrie I could relate to this realistic portrayal of life in the Central Belt of Scotland at that time. I was hooked by the drama and read it far too quickly! It was lovely to spend more time in this world, I can’t wait for the sequel.
