Note: This is a crossover book (not a novella) featuring Maddie Graves and Hannah Hickok. It’s set after the conclusion of the Maddie Graves series and after The Monstrous Seven in the Hannah Hickok series.
Maddie Graves-Winters has settled into married life with her husband, Nick, and is looking toward the future. When an invitation to a special retreat, strictly for psychics, lands in her lap, she decides it’s time for a leap of faith. As the owner of Casper Creek, a cosplay Western town in Kentucky, Hannah Hickok is in a precarious position. A recent incident involving the death of a tourist – and a member of her own coven – has Hannah struggling. That’s why she agrees to host a bunch of psychics in her town. Maddie and Hannah are both magic in their own way, although they approach life from different directions. Their worlds are about to collide, though. When the most famous psychic in attendance – a woman who was both prickly and full of herself – is murdered in broad daylight, they’re going to have to work together to solve a terrible crime. What do you do when your victim was hated by everybody, to the point where she kept a list of her enemies? Dig deep. That’s what. Even then, though, it’s going to be a bumpy ride … and the ending might not be happy for everybody.
The Maddie Graves series has finished so this is a great opportunity to catch up with the newly married couple. There’s a psychic convention being held at the Casper Creek western theme park owned by Hannah Hickok and her boyfriend Cooper. Maddie is intrigued so books a place for her and Nick, at the very least it’s a holiday with a few days away from Maude, Maddie grandmother. The first day of the convention Maddie and Nick run into Hannah and Cooper the two couples immediately hit it off but the burgeoning friendship is interrupted when the headliner at the convention is found in the brothel, murdered, with a large knife sticking out of her chest. Maddie and Nick feel obligated to offer what help they can in finding out who killed Velma —— although the suspect list is a large one——- Cooper is glad of the help and Hannah is happy that this time the killer seems to be an ordinary human no supernatural elements involved.
The perfect mix for a crossover novel.. Hannah's Casper Creek has been booked for a psychics convention and Maddie Graves-Winter, newly married decides to take the plunge and attend.. more because Nick likes the idea of a Wild West adventure than anything else!
Hannah is nervous about having an event, Maddie is still nervous about revealing her skills to others. The two form an instant friendship when Maddie and Nick stumble across the body of the headline psychic Velma lying in the brothel with a knife in her chest.
Hannah and Maddie team up as Nick joins Cooper and Boone to try and catch a killer. First on the agenda is working out the real psychics from the fake.. the girls find a unique way to try and establish the truth.. but will it lead to the murderer or will that take the boys and some old fashioned police work?
This is a crossover between maddie graves and Hannah hickok. Maddie receives a invitation to a get together for psychics. It will be located at an old west town. Maddie and Nick have been married for 3 months are settling into married life. Maddie has been ill for the first time in her life. She has been feeling nauseous and being sick alot for the last 3 weeks. I guessed what was wrong with her immediately. It was funny to see Maddie reaction to the possibility of being pregnant. When the leader of the psychics is murdered, an investigation ensues. I loved Maddie and Hannah interactions. They were hilarious together. Cooper and Nick developed a nice friendship too. It was an interesting storyline. Loved the camaraderie between the two couples. Fantastic book.
I Love both the Maddie Graves Mysteries and the Hannah Hickok Mysteries. This crossover was a little disappointing to me. Almost the first half of the book was about Maddie Graves. Since I have read all her books, it was material I was already familiar with. The murder did occur in the first half of the book, but not a lot of investigation into the murder occurs until the second half of the book. Then, at the end the murder practically solved itself. There were some great moments in the book, particularly when Maddie's grandmother Maude shows up. I love Maude, she is a hoot. Also some other unexpected things happen that make this a worthwhile read. And if you have not read the Maddy Graves Mysteries, you will most likely love this book. It is a great introduction to Maddie, Nick, and Maude.
Exciting supernatural cozy mystery series crossover
Extraordinarily awesome supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters an outstanding storyline. Two different cozy mystery series brought together in a character crossover. The Maddie graves Series and it’s two main characters go on a psychic retreat to wild West town in Kentucky that is owned and ran by Hannah Hickok the main character in the Hannah Hickok cozy mystery series. Follow along as the two groups of characters interact together to find out who committed the most recent murder in Casper Creek. Extraordinarily entertaining and always fun and a great read. Check it out
Yay for cross-overs I seriously love them and this one was funny and loveable... Nick and Maddi are off on an adventure to a Wild West cosplay town!!!
Hannah and Cooper are kinda sorta looking forward to a psychic convention... lol I think it lost more of its shine when the main event turned up dead!!!
They guys were lucky Maddi and Hannah teamed up to save the day it was definitely worth the read I enjoyed catching up with Maddi and Nick and Hannah and Cooper put them all together and you get fun, magical mayhem and a mystery to solve.
It's so great to catch up with Maddie and Nick again, and the idea of a ghostly mother and troublemaking grandmother just horning in on the newlyweds' getaway is comical; I didn't find Maude as delightful as usual, though. Hannah, Cooper, and the Casper Creek bunch can certainly use the assistance with solving the rather convoluted murder mystery that appears. There are humorous and unusual elements (but very little magic) present that make for a satisfying read, and the couples play off each other well. I hope to see them together again!
This book was one huge lovefest. Glad we got to catch up with Nick, Maddie and Maude again. Also loved getting another story from Hannah and Copper. Loving that series as well. This book was light on mystery, but snowball the same. There is a surprise in here everyone will enjoy. Maddie was more milquetoast than I remembered, that was my only drawback. Enjoyed this quick read an it's characters. I love crossovers.
This book was straight up fun! I loved the mystery and I totally adore both of these couples and the supporting characters. I can't count the number of times I literally LOL'd while reading this book. 5 stars all day every day! I love when you mix the characters from the different series. Seriously love it. @LilyHarperHart Please bring back Rowan Gray! I love that series along with Ivy Morgan & Harper Harlow
This a fun storyline of a western cosplay town in Kentucky. This book also has Maddie and Nick make a.guest appearance at a psychic gathering. Maude, Maddie's grandma also makes an appearance. This is definitely a fun series worth reading from the.beginning. Can't wait for the next adventure!
I always enjoy the crossovers of two series when you get to see two characters meet and this was no exception! The plot moved quickly with a few twists and turns to keep the reader turning pages. Plus it was fun to see Maddie and Nick in a book again. I highly recommend this book!
What more could you ask for? How about a reunion with Maddie, Nick, and the ever irrepressible Maude? While on a romantic getaway (is there any other kind for Maddie and Nick?) they meet new friends, Hannah and Cooper, and stumble over a dead body. Co-starring Jinx and his goats...
This was a fun read and I enjoyed it. My biggest issue was Maddie unfortunately. I understand why she acted the way she did, but it got old and I missed her usual sweet spunk. I still liked Maddie in the book, just not certain parts and I don't want to spoil the book for anyone. It was a fun read and I loved how you manage to switch time between all main characters.
I was intrigued about the crossover books under L.H.H. There is the right amount scenes between the main characters. I love the whodunit scenario and following the clues all the while with Maddie trying to pretend her family unit is not changing. I can't wait to read the other crossover books.
Another wonderful crossover book. Good to see how Maddie and Nick are doing since the wedding. It is easy to figure out early on that Maddie is pregnant. It was funny that Nick figured it out before her. Two special women bond over their abilities and murder. The guys develop a relationship too. Simple human badness instead of supernatural creatures in this story. Enjoyable read.
I absolutely loved Maddie & Hannah together! This was hands down my favorite crossover book to date. I really hope we get additional stories about the two amazing women.
I absolutely loved it! It was exciting to see Hannah’s story progress and the fact that Maddie and Nick and Maude were involved made it even crazier. The ending was amazing!
Maddie and Hannah meet in the book and they are two peas in a pod from the beginning. The story is told mainly from Maddie and Nicks’s perspective, we only get a little bit of Cooper and Hannah. It was fun, funny and entertaining.
I just love it when two of my favorite series come together. With Maddie and Hannah come together it really shows the sisterhood of the paranormal. I can't believe it really happened and I am overjoyed with the great news.
Maddie and Nick visit the town with a convention of psychics. Everyone hits it off right away. Maude even shows up. Together they solve a murder and Maddie & Nick get a surprise.
I loved the crossover with more of Maddie and Nick. Bringing them to town with Hannah and Cooper along with a mystery to solve was entertaining and fun. Loved it!
I have enjoyed all the Maddie Graves books & have enjoyed all the crossovers, the characters are so much fun especially Granny Maude. Highly recommend. Happy reading. I do hope there will be another Maddie Graves book now with the happy need at the end of this book.
A psychic convention on a paranormal wild west town. Nothing about that screams normal! Now, let's add a murder, a grandmother, lots of ghosts and fake psychics and you end up in a regular day for Hannah and Maddie.
I love both of the series that were crossed over in this book, so I was excited to see what it would be like with them combined. I was not disappointed. Hannah is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.
Bringing Maddie, Nick, Maude and Olivia into Hannah's story made for a great fun read. Love being able to catch up with the "Grave" characters, while getting to know Hannah better, as well. Keep up with these crossovers, please!
Maddie and Hannah meet and of course Granny finds a way to be there! Love the hitchhiker storyline! Another who done it that keeps you guessing. Nick's fascination with the town is spot on. Who doesn't love this town!!
I love Hannah and the old west town. It was also nice to get to see what's going on with Maddie and Nick after the last book in their series. Super sweet, loved their happily ever after!
Maddie and Nick go to a conference for psychics at the Wild West town owned by Hannah, a witch. A famous psychic is murdered. And Maude shows up, and fits in. Fun characters.
Fun collaboration between two interesting female characters and their significant others. Story line was solid, would have liked to see more interaction between Olivia and Abigail. Nice surprise at the end.
Enjoyed the story and the characters. The side PLot with Maddie and Nick seemed a bit annoying to me but only a bit. Maude was fun as always and I would recommend this book.
