Dare I say I actually liked this book? While a lot of the things about this series I disliked are still present throughout out this book the characters weren’t so unlikeable. The book open endedly closes the second summer in Florida. Summer realizes she needs to work on herself and ends thing with Seth and for the most part with Adam (there is hints of a future there) Diana and Seth end things both admitting that they did have feelings for each other. Marquez finally gets help for her eating disorder and Diver is back after the whole Caroline blackmailing him story is resolved. (Although I would have liked to see the whole confrontation scene played out. That Caroline deserved to have bad things happen to her that bitch lol) And lastly Diana confronts Jared and reveals she knows he’s Adam, but shows sympathy to his situation, although probably undeserved because of their past. While the book still has unresolved plots mostly dealing with Summer, one not knowing Jared is Adam, and two Austin still keeping his illness from her. So the final book will hopefully resolve all of those issues. Also for the whole seven books being about Summer and Seth’s will they stay together and get married for the line “and Seth walked out of her life forever” was probably the most shocking part. Do I like this series no not really but I will say I didn’t hate this book as much as the previous one.
