I have to say that Alan Gorevan is a genius. I don't know how exactly he does it, but he manages to blend humour into crime. I could hardly stop laughing while reading this story. It was raucously funny! There wasn't a single dull moment and beneath his trademark wit, there was actually a very clever crime story too. Along with his unique sense of humour, Gorevan knows exactly how to keep the readers turning pages. Dead Funny is a story that you won't soon forget. Give it a read. You can thank me later!

Short Sharp You'll Die Laughing

As with all Alan Gorevan's stories, whether short as this is, or full length novels, he conveys menace, place, atmosphere and character so well. In so few pages Alan Gorevan crafts a fast paced thriller. I have read many of Alan's books and I highly recommend all his novels and novellas.

Another short story to hold you by throat throughout.

This was a little different than the other stories, the main tension starts off after some pages but when it does, yes, you guessed it, it won't let you put down until you have turned the last page.
