Crisis in America. From home to public school to universities, and, ultimately, to the workplace there is a growing crisis. Deadly theories are being spread in higher education. Progressive philosophies of socialism and humanism are fueling intolerance and conflict in our culture. Conservative thought and free speech on college campuses is vanishing. About the author

Keith Hoar is a writer and former IBM Certified Business Intelligence and Solutions Expert who consulted for numerous Fortune 100 companies. He designed executive suite business intelligence reporting systems and software sub-systems for companies such as: Motorola C&E, Cigna Insurance, Hyundai Motors NA, Continental Airlines, Wells Fargo, and others.

Keith also owned his own consulting company that designed custom software systems and sophisticated reporting systems.

Keith proudly served his country in the United States Navy for ten years. His duties included: setup of training scenarios, input of attack center maneuvering orders, monitoring of firing point procedures, and tracking outcome of weapons launch.

Keith is a PADI certified SCUBA diver with 100+ dives all over the Caribbean. Keith has also published his first novel, Edge of Madness, an edge-of-your-seat, hold-your-breath thriller.

Keith lives with his wife in Northeast Kansas.

A book I wish I had written.

This book presents information we can all see is true; it is being played out in front of us in our society. Why? Most of us recognize that this is not the direction our country should go. How many will speak against this at every encounter?I

🖊 My review: This is a well-researched, well-cited, and nicely written work on the slow demise and destruction of American society. So much of what is written in this book I have been preaching for many years now. The author shows how the elimination of G-d in private and public lives has decimated American society and how the communists infiltrated. Also, this work shows how the indoctrination of students in schools has turned much of society into ignorant citizens and voters. Recommended.

🔹From the end of World War II until the mid-1960s there was an American Dream and it was coming true for thousands of Americans.

🔹As America’s youth become more and more discontented and disengaged, they began praising brutal, socialistic dictators. Angry crowds of rioting youths parroted the communistic slogans being chanted by violent radicals. The most devastating breakdown of all was America’s loss of its moral compass. The family, the fabric of America, was blowing apart at the seams. The American family, began deteriorating at an alarming rate.

🔹Moral decline (or degeneration) refers to the process of deterioration from a higher to a lower level of morality. The condition of moral decline is seen as preceding or associated with a decline in the quality of life, as well as a decline of the nation as whole. In 1959 British lawyer and jurist Judge Sir Patrick Devlin (1905-1992), in his Maccabaean Lecture, The Enforcement of Morals, said "…an established morality is as necessary as good government to the welfare of society. Societies disintegrate from within more frequently than they are broken up by external pressures.”

🔹Millions of Christians have grafted New Age dogma onto their spiritual person.…. While we wring our hands about secularism spreading through culture, a majority of churchgoing Christians have embraced corrupt, me-centered theology.

🔹The ‘real, or absolute, truth’ and ‘your truth’ are not the same thing. In fact, they are likely as opposite as night and day. Not only is using the term ‘your truth’ wrong; it is inherently dangerous! America currently has a culture that is deeply divided ideologically. Individuals now form their own perceptions which they choose to call ‘reality’ or ‘truth’. In actuality, what they form may not be reality at all, but, rather, it may merely be a set of ‘beliefs’ they choose to label as fact. When an individual chooses to assess information using the mindset of ‘your truths’, they get to choose what to believe based on their circumstances, their current mental outlook, their cultural biases, or a host of other considerations. A thing is either true or it is not true! It simply cannot be both depending on which side of the issue you are standing.

Very well written. The author takes no chances and sites EVERYTHING in regards to quotes. I learned a lot of interesting things from this book. The only small complaint I would have is that the author, Keith Hoar, does go a little bit too far off the rails and into the Christian preaching zone towards the end of the book. But even that fits with the theme of the book.

Timely and well-researched book. Sadly, only a small percentage of Americans believe there are absolute moral truths anymore. In 2015, the Progressive Party released its agenda to combat income inequality. Their agenda is “eerily similar to the agendas of the Socialist Party USA and the Communist Party USA.” Many union leaders and politicians signed the progressive agenda.

Goals of the Communist Party USA affirmed during a 1992 meeting (It’s very sad to see how successful they’ve been at achieving these goals):
“Get control of the schools. Use them for Socialism and current Communist propaganda.
Get control of teachers associations…
Infiltrate the press.
Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and movies…
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity…
Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools…
Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate and old fashioned…
Dominate the psychiatric profession.
Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.” -pp. 39-40

“When Democratic Socialists have destroyed capitalism and profits are gone and the companies have either failed or fled the country and they run out of other people’s money, what source of revenue will Socialism feed off of then? Perhaps America will turn to the bread lines and empty shelves like the old USSR. Or perhaps America will become like socialistic Venezuela where the people eat rats and break into zoos to eat the animals because the market shelves are empty?”- p. 47

David Burton said that a major force reshaping American culture “is revisionists. This group promulgates a message of radical moral and social change through its use of ‘historical revisionism’ - a process by which historical fact is intentionally ignored, distorted, or misportrayed in order to maneuver public opinion toward a specific political agenda or philosophy.” -p. 102

Though the (intolerant) liberal left is always demanding tolerance, what they really are after is unquestioned acceptance. “When liberals don’t get the unquestioned acceptance they are looking for from Christians, they make efforts to silence them and force them for areas of influence, especially political office.” -p. 176

Public schools promote humanism, which is another form of atheism. “This is the ideology that is the foundation for Socialism and Communism (Socialism is simply the road leading to Communism. At the end of the road, both are essentially the same).” -p. 193

Nowadays, “the rampant, anti-conservative bias and elimination of ANY viewpoints that do not align with liberal, far-left ideology is causing public schools, especially colleges, in America to become little more than indoctrination centers. How can students possibly learn to research, evaluate, and form a conclusion based on the facts, the right or wrong or the truth of any given matter, when they are allowed to hear only one side of any issue? The simple answer is -- they cannot!” -p. 196
