I had to read this for French class a few years ago. When I had to read it, my French level was a flaming dumpster fire, so I was not able to read it without a translator haha. My teacher definitely expected too much of me. All I remember was that I forced to read this during my Winter break since I was supposed to have a test over it when I came back, but noooo, that didn't happen. I felt like it was all a waste of time. The plot was boring; the drama was as spicy as milk. Anyways, this book is a no for me.
This is by far the best TPRS book I've read thus far! This story included great cultural references (with explanations) and wonderful representation, and I have never felt such strong emotions on behalf of TPRS characters before. This has been my first Cécile Lainé book, and I cannot wait to read her other books now!
