I am lucky enough to be voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book. Jane Fox is great at writing sexy and short but fully formed and engaging reads that you can read quickly.

Emily was meant to be Bekah’s guest as she was the DJ for the night at a hockey game, being a curvy girl she is normally over looked by everyone especially men and even more so when Bekah is around but at the after game meet she finds herself the centre of attention for the Tsunami also known as Leo. Is he really wanting to be with her or just killing time?

Leo is ready to celebrate especially after putting on of the opposing hockey players in his place, known as the Tsunami he is the one to have the other players on his teams back during the game, so when they suggest a night at the local bar he is read to party and he is looking forward to meeting the DJ who had the perfect songs for his play tonight. One look at Emily and he is in love but can he convince her that he is a nice guy and not some brute on the ice?

These two were super cute and I loved how they interacted. Highly recommended read. 3.7* read.

Beauty is all around you if you open your eyes and heart

Beauty is the fourth book in the Love on the Ice series and is the story of Emily and Leo. I loved this sweet and dirty insta-love short story. Once again the author has given us characters that are wonderful and their story puts a smile on your face the whole way through the book.
Leo Boucher is the enforcer, the protector, for the Atlanta Tsunami team in the HLA. This night he the team is playing Saskatoon Arrows and one of there guys, Greenway, is trying to hurt Leo's fellow star player Denis Tremblay. Leo is sent onto the ice to put an end to it as Greenway knows that you don't start stuff you can't finish. After Leo puts a stop to Greenway by dropping gloves and breaking his nose, after taking a few shots himself. As he skates to the penalty box the DJ for the arena plays "Mama Said Knock You Out" by LL Cool J. When his penalty time is over the DJ plays "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC. It seems that there is a different DJ in the booth for the night and he has a sense of humor. After the game the guys all go to a local bar a few blocks away to have some drinks and horse around. Before they leave the locker room one of them says there the new DJ is coming also. When the new DJ walks and Leo looks up she is "thunderstruck" by her an as it is "lady's choice" he is determined to take his shot with her.
Emily is a beautiful and curvy young woman who is comfortable with herself and the way she expresses herself. She dresses in rockabilly with dark hair and dark red lips. She is not a fan of hockey, actually having never watched a game until this night. But her friend, Bekah, asked her to come as she was filling in for the regular DJ. While Behak was off flirting the the team's PR guy Emily was picking all the songs, which Leo loved her choices for him.
Leo buys Emily a drink but they quickly abandon their beers to go for a pizza as Emily has never had Chicago style (deep dish) before as she is a NYC style (thin crust) girl. Along the way there are a few kisses and also at the sweet and intimate restaurant. Afterwards the head to Leo's large penthouse apartment and start melting the ice until it is really steamy and hot. In the end Leo has converted Emily into a deep dish pizza girl and a hockey cheering fan.

I really liked this short but steamy story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting. Leo is my new book boyfriend. Thank you very much!

Leo is an enforcer for the Tsunami and he has one rule: no one messes with his team. After a game, he meets Emily and explains his view on being an enforcer. Leo wants to get to know Emily better, but first, he has to convince her that he's not just out there picking fights.

Emily has never been to a hockey game before and doesn't understand it. Her friend Bekah got a DJ gig for a game and made Emily go with her. After the game, Leo Boucher approaches her and she's surprised because she thought he liked fighting and not that he was protecting his teammates. Knowing the difference changes how Emily sees Leo and opens her up to new possibilities.

This is a super-fast instalove story. The songs that Emily played for Leo were awesome. I liked that Leo didn't even notice Bekah and approached Emily right away. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book!

This is a ARC short story by Jane Fox and it features LEO and EMILY.
Leo a hockey player, an enforcer, and his job is to protect his men, and that's what he did which caused him 5 minutes on the in the penalty box. After a win Leo and his team along with the new DJ headed to their usual bar to celebrate, but when another beautiful girl came into the bar, thinking she the one the guys where talking about, Leo offered her a drink.
Emily is a friend of the DJ at the hockey arena, was invited by the team to joined them after the game and she is not a hockey fan. But when the number one enforcer, ask her if she wanted a drink she said yes. After talking to Leo, Emily learned a little bit more about hockey and about Leo and now she is looking at him in a totally different way, a better way.
I am volunteering to leave a review for a ARC of this book.

Beauty by Jane Fox

This hockey novella is a perfect read if have short time to wind down. What I like about Jane Fox’s novellas is that the pacing is perfect. You never feel things are too rushed, leaving out important details. She does a wonderful job getting the reader to feel the intensity of the romance.

This hockey based novella with Leo and Emily - a woman who comes to a hockey match for the first time and comes to understand what she thought of as needless violence after meeting Leo, the guy who comes on the ice when the a member of the opposing team takes a hit at one of their star players. He’s the the guy they don’t want to see.

Emily is so enamored with his gentleness and his ability to see in her what others can’t see. Enjoyable story.

I received an advanced copy of this story from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I love this entire series and this one is no exception They are only fast reads they take less than an hour to read

Leo is an enforcer it is his job to make sure the rest of his team is protected usually the music played for him is sub par but the DJ tonight really got it right and everyone is talking about how hot she is So he is looking forward to meeting her Emily went with her friend Bekah on her job as DJ at a ice hockey game only problem is Bekah ended up flirting and Emily ended up doing the work she is used to that after all she is a curvy girl always overlooked by everyone That is until she meets Leo a man she writes off as a thug not understanding his role in the game Now not only does she realise how special he is but she realises he wants her Can they have a future

Beauty is the next book in the Love on Ice series. Leo Boucher is a 6’6” enforcer for the hockey team. He meets Emily who was helping her friend Bekah the DJ at the game. Leo liked the music choices noticing Emily in the booth. At the bar he discovers that Emily’s not the DJ she was filling in for her friend and doing a great job. However, she does not really like hockey, Leo explains his position and the game and Emily finds that it isn’t as bad as she first thought. It also doesn’t hurt that she is attracted to Leo and he to her and she really likes him! The connection between the two of them is electric! Another great book!

Beauty is book four in the ‘’love on the ice’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Leo is a hockey player that wasn’t looking for love but he found it. Emily was just helping her friend out when she meets Leo and they connected instantly.
The chemistry between Leo and Emily is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

These Love the one Ice books are super short, but also super cute! I don’t follow hockey, but I sure love books about hockey players! And I’ve actually learned a bit about hockey through this series. Leo is the enforcer for his team, and could be considered a big brtue. But Emily, a curvy rockabily BBW discovers that he’s actually a big teddy bear …. unless you mess with his team. Love at first sight, on the ice drama, and witty banter all work together to make this a very fun and sexy read!

Leo is an enforcer for the Tsunami ice hockey team. His job is to deal with the members of the opposing team who foul his team members. One match there is a new DJ who manages to match the music to what is happening in the rink. The team is talking about the hot new DJ as they head to their after match drinks. Leo spots Emily and is drawn to her. It turns out that she isn't the person the team were talking about, although she was the person picking the music. Is the attraction mutual?

Bekah is the guest DJ at the hockey game, and she drags Emily with her. But then she disappears to flirt with some guys, leaving Emily alone to deal with the music. She does a great job, too. Such a great job that Leo - the enforcer - is looking forward to meeting her at the after party. She thinks that he's too violent after what she saw on the ice. He has to convince her that he's not. This book is a fun and sexy read - I'm such a sucker for a hot hockey player. I love the connection that Emily and Leo have.

Emily is used to being overlooked when she is with his friend, but one night, at the bar where the hockey players hang out after games, she becomes the central focus for Leo, one of those players.  As soon as he sees her, he knows he has to have her.  This is the fourth book of a four part series and Ms. Fox has, once again, written an entertaining and swoon worthy hit.  She has become one of my favorite authors.

I received an advance copy of this book.  The opinions are entirely my own.
