On a ninth grade field trip to Mohonk Mountain, Jake Howard discovered a mysterious portal that was gone in a flash, but the image of it never left his memory. Now, about to start his junior year at SUNY New Paltz in 1997, he meets a girl named Beth. She’s brooding, mysterious and beautiful. Of course Jake is instantly attracted to her, despite his best friend Scott warning him that he has a weird feeling about her.
One night, while at the local bar with friends, Jake notices his Astronomy professor talking to Beth. After observing the conversation and following Beth out of the bar, Jake's tender understanding of the universe is shattered and Jake quickly realizes that his junior year is about to be way more than he bargained for...

I got a feedback comment on the 31st of December via Goodreads direct from the author. I find this to be an excellent way to appreciate readers. I am an avid reader of anything multiverse related, and this was an outstanding read, reading like a seasoned author wrote it. Even more interesting was the idea that each universe was choice-driven, something I've embraced for years via esoteric writings I've sought out. Add to that the character development and personalities, and you have pure entertainment. I look forward to a sequel to this story.
It’s a fantastic make you wonder book At first I was hesitant to read this book because it’s not a book I would normally read but you know how the old saying goes...”Don’t judge a book by its cover” After reading through the first chapter I couldn’t and didn’t want to put this book down! I was extremely curious to see where the story was heading and soon found myself immersed in a world of what if! Upon completion I’m now wondering what’s next? I would and have recommended this book to anyone who wishes to read their next all around fantastic leave you thinking book!
While some books bore you with story development this book has Jake and his inner voice. He makes you laugh, and shake your head. With a couple twists I wasn’t expecting, I highly recommend this story. Take a chance on the Multiverse it’s worth the ride!
