This has been such a delightful and enjoyable series. The authors, Mary Stone and Bella Cross, did a wonderful job with this last book, tying up all the loose ends and answering all the questions, while still leaving the way open for new cases down the road if they feel the need.
SAR workers and their dogs are being targeted but only Kylie can see it. Nobody else thinks there's any connection between the searchers and their dogs disappearing or having accidents, choosing instead to believe it's all a coincidence and not a conspiracy the way Kylie seems to think. But, Kylie is sure it's all of a piece, and that it's somehow connected to a past case that Linc was involved in. And, now that Kylie has finally agreed to marry Linc, she just knows that she's going to wind up losing him before the wedding. But, how does she keep her man safe when he's the big, bad, experienced ex-military man? Especially when he isn't taking her seriously, either. Will Kylie get her happily ever after, or will tragedy strike once more, and cost her the love of her life? To find the answer, you'll have to read 'Deadly Dreams', by Mary Stone and Bella Cross.

Deadly Dreams by Mary Stone and Bella Cross is the fourth installment in the Kylie Hatfield series and I'm definitely a fan. Again I am impressed with how each new unstallment surpasses the previous ones. The humor that is expertly woven into the tense mystery is what makes it for me.
Kylie is having trouble just getting started on her wedding planning list. Could this be fear, second thoughts or...? Then her boss gets a call from an old school mate asking for help. His wife, a SARs expert, has gone missing and he feels there is a cover up somewhere.

Kylie Hatfield book #4 Deadly Dreams

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and How Kylie has evolved. Not only with herself but with Linc her Fiancé.
She still has her wedding jitters when they both get involved in this case of missing hikers/co-workers.
They are so much better together than they are apart and so are their dogs Storm and Vader.
I am so happy to see this couple together and realizing they are a team in every aspect of their lives. Even tho they are polar opposites, They have an amazing love and friendship that’s extremely supportive.
The storyline is a great and easy read. Twisted and suspenseful. Phenomenal writing. Wonderful characters. Left me a bit emotional and sad at times. Always leaves me wanting more. Loved the direction the story/characters took towards the end and I am eager for the 5th and final story. Omg that saddens me to know it’ll be the final one.
This Kylie Hatfield series is a must read and highly recommended.

This one had me hooked from start to end. A simple favor of a case ends up taking a dramatic turn to a thriller where Linc is the ultimate prey. Relationships keep evolving and we see the importance of friendships and communication. Storm is the MVP and Vader is my hero. The ending is precious and I look forward to the next book to see how the new case and news that Kylie has goes!

More Deadly Investigations...Edge of Your Seat Suspense
Once again Mary Stone and Bella Cross deliver action packed mystery and suspense in the 4th installment of the Kylie Hatfield series, Deadly Dreams. These talented authors really know how to write a story that captures the imagination and has you enthralled from the first page to the last. In Deadly Games, Kylie and her hunky lover Linc join forces on an investigation. Through this intricately spun yarn, Stone and Cross, further develop their main characters into a top notch team. You can easily see that Kylie and Linc are made for each other! New characters are introduced in Deadly Games, and with the same artistic design the authors have employed in previous books, you easily come to relate to them as you do to the main characters. The settings for each novel, are so well developed you can easily imagine yourself at Kylie and Linc's side, a silent observer with a ring side seat for all the action. This novel with have you so involved in the action that you will laugh out loud at times, as well as cry at others. I startled my dogs a few times when so caught up in the story I shouted "Watch Out!" when the killer was sneaking up on a hapless victim! This book was a thrilling ride full of sudden twists that kept me hanging on to the very end. I never want this series to end!

Too Close for Comfort
Now that Kylie and Linc have made the commitment to a lifetime if love and happiness, they are ready to settle into their future. Gotcha! We all know Kylie, that whirlwind of motion and emotion has to much stored up energy for any settling down. However, Linc and Kylie are in the early stages if wedding planning. Kylie has even reluctantly agreed to go dress shipping with her mom.
Of course, in true Stone/Cross style those plans are out on hold. During a search for a suicidal young man, a veteran SAR goes missing. When Greg hands the case to Assistant PI, Kylie Hatfield, she jumps at the chance. It is the perfect case for both she and Linc. The two are headed to Tallulah Gorge before the first bridal shop visit.

This is a fun book to read with a good storyline. 👍

Would maybe give it a 3.5. Started reading books because had a Newfie in them, even though I am not usually a big fan of Cozy Mysteries. Loved the dog, although he wasn't featured enough in some of the books, in my opinion. Liked the characters, but Kylie annoyed me quite a few times. Obviously not enough to stop reading, though, LOL! Some of them I liked enough to rate a 4, some a 3.5, but don't remember at the moment (while entering books that I read in January) which ones I liked more than others.

OMG!!!!!!!!! This book was amazing, I didn't want to put it down. Kylie a d Linc managed to save another SAR person, but lost 3 others. But also proved that Will wasn't drunk when his truck ran off the highway. Storm, Linc's German Shepard lost a leg, but saved Linc and also became a mommy to 12 puppies. Now Kylie may be pregnant, I am so excited to read the next book.

A Little Disappointed!
Possible Spoiler Alert!
I was hoping for a happy reunion with the missing dogs and the families! Also, I was hoping for a follow up on the condition of the survivors. The ending just left you hanging! I guess I needed more closure. I do enjoy reading this series but I am a little disappointed with the ending of this book!

Great Books
I am into my 5th book in this series and can't stop reading them. once I have gone through the first chapter I am hooked and enjoy the suspense and twist and turns on each chapter. They are clean and full of surprises I can never figure out who done it so I am hooked until the end. ENJOY,

Each book just gets better and better!
Well just when I was worried things might get dull, Kylie and Linc wrapped me up into another page turner. I’m not sleeping because I can’t wait to see what is around the next corner or I should say page. Absolutely enthralling!

Best of the Kylie Hatfield series
I’ve read the Ellie, Winter, Autumn, Emma, Stella, and Charli series before this one. This was my least favorite by far although Deadly Dreams was best in this series.

Wow
Wow, a call from the SAR team has Linc and Kylie out for a rescue and things are not all what they seem. I Loved all the SAR team characters and their animal counterparts. The mystery was amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat.
