DNF at 30%
Ok, it started out quite well, it was really interesting. Some parts were a bit confusing because the characters seemed to say some things or be presented in a way and then they would act differently...
There was a part that completely ruined it for me, and that was when they went to sunset forest...

the one thing that made me think of dropping this novel was one phrase that the MC and friends used as a joke that was too much for me....
"Life is like r*pe, if you can't fight, lie down and enjoy it".......
It's just too much, I tried to ignore it and keep reading but I did notice that I wasn't as interested in the novel anymore.
Also, when MC's family appear again... It doesn't make sense how he acts, not with how his character's been introduced until now... And then the MC eats pastries laced with aphrodisiac? And he doesn't notice until it starts to affect him? Come on, before he only needed to smell the food to know what it had.... It felt too forced.
The whole arc had questionable things, I tried to keep going but I didn't get too far and I have decided to stop reading... Clearly this is not for me....

Voy a extrañarlos chicos!
Nunca sabré si ascendieron al mundo inmortal pero me quedo satisfecha con que son felices en su mundo! MO FEI ERES ICONICO! Lou yu eres el Gong ideal, que hasta aprendió a cocinar solo para alimentar a su princesa heredera ;;
Pero díganme! QUÉ FUE ESE FINAL TODO INCONCLUSO QUE PUSIERON CON LA ULTIMA PAREJA(dragonxfenix), más encima forzado xd.
Está bien, no puedo pedir mucho, solo quería que todos se reencontraran al final en el mundo inmortal 🥲

My first book this year and what an amazing way to initiate my reading journey this 2023!
It took me a couple of weeks to finish but I was hooked from the beginning. So many interesting personalities and unusual adventures got me laughing all the time.
The end was a surprise, nonetheless a good one. Some may think that the book is extremely long but I'm still hoping it didn't end yet. I wanted to keep reading...
Thanks to Mo Fei and his crew I enjoyed the holidays.💕

This is less of a cultivation story where the characters build their cultivation in many old tombs and chance encounters of cultivation resources in the wild. The focus is improving within each new sect they join with a few encounters outside the sect. The highlight of this novel is the comedy. The dead pan lines are sufficient to create a situational comedy television show from this novel!
