I finished it in just few hours, cover to cover although the book is sectioned into different topics and is well over 150 pages count. I had an amazing time going through all the sections and I found many of these information useful and appropriate for daily practice.
Reading this book created a positively within myself. I just felt that author's words were absolutely in the spot while discussing various issues and how to attain positive response and most importantly learn the lesson that each situation that we get to experience.
Live, love and laugh the title totally lives up to the expectation. I consider this book to be a blessing because it was the just the right time when I read it, I was going through some difficult stuff and here was a book that kept me remembering everything but not for the disappointments instead at the thing they taught me.
I believe that you can call this book a journey because it will not only change your perception but also make you feel humble, kind and generous to others as well as towards yourself. An absolute treasure in my opinion.
My review doesn't do the justice so I would recommend you to pick this up for your next read and be the judge yourself.
Her writing doesn't make feel like she is imposing some life changing methods that are easy enough to read but adherence to the same appears difficult to follow instead her writing suggests different ways in which one can actually achieve happiness and success by changing certain things in your life. The fact that she doesn't hand out the do's or don't's in commanding tone made it a more gripping book.
‘Live, Love and Laugh’ by Manjit Sargam Chawla is a self help book which talks about how people are constantly busy working. And in this race for working and earning the most money we completely ignore ourselves and the results of this result is none other than depression, anxiety and other problems which we ourselves attract to. The book also talks about how we ourselves are responsible for the problems we attract and what it is that can be done to avoid such problems. The books covers a wide range of topics from how to attract money, how gratitude works and how making affirmations helps us in the long run. To know in more detail and to attract all the good in one’s life read Live, Love and Laugh.
My Views:
I liked the writing style of the author. The author has added her own experiences and how she herself has applied these affirmations and how gratitude actually helped her. Author has covered real life experiences of some of the famous personalities too. I also liked the fact that the author has given some very good affirmatives and quotes. Some of my favourite/affirmative are:
1. “You are the special unique child of the almighty, you yourself as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” 2. “Faith is the shortest possible path between you and god.” 3. “Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of the past, and is, therefore, the means for correcting our misperceptions even of past lives.” We also get information about some of the yogasana’s and how to practice them.
The book is written in a simple and lucid language which would be beneficial for readers who are reading self-help books for the first time. The book is written in such a manner that the readers can actually read any chapter to begin with. But it would be great if we read the chapters as they are. The author has also advised to practice the affirmations daily one at a time and see the magic it brings into our life. I truly feel that the tips given by the author would surely help us to bring the positive in our life and lead a life that will be very different from what it is now.
Overall, I feel that it is possible to lead a happy life if we alter our way of living and bring about some healthy changes in our life. Last but not the least as the author has said any new habit takes twenty-one days to replace the old one. So, with little help and self-love we all can get to a happy place and get rid of some of the bad habits that we have developed over the years.
Overall, it was a great experience reading this book and I would surely try to inculcate some of the tips that the author has given. I would surely recommend this book to people who are looking for a good self-help book.

It's a self help genre book. Starting with the cover it's seems soothing enough. The title justifies the theme of the book. And the cover makes it more involving and peaceful to read. The author has taken inspiration from Yogi Amrit Raj and penned down her thoughts in the form of stories. The main theme of the book is to spread positivity around people. It promotes and shows the importance of practising Yoga and meditation in one's life and how it can help one's being. There are many elements included like the strength of love, belief system, power of gratitude and forgiveness etc.
One will definitely feel motivated after reading this thoroughly. The language is easy to understand. Will recommend it for beginners. The narration could have been much better is what I thought in terms of fast paced. Other than it was a bliss's full journey to read. I liked the cover. Self help Lover should definitely try this out. I'm not much fan of this genre but now I'm developing interest in it too.
Before devouring this, I was quite sceptical as I find no credit and sorts in this kind. Parameters present in this book - like the law of attraction, affirmation make you calm, collected and enjoin you to have some insights to understand the complexities of the array of your life. I found this book a classic one that tips with self-performing exercises and has some really good chapters and all. With a great hope I started to reading this one. The yogic figure on the cover page gave me an excitement to read this one and learn more about the universe. And I was not disappointed at all. Because every line and every chapters with stories put light on Power Of Manifestation , and the Power of Universe. It should also include real-life examples supported with numerous quotes. This is what I loved about this book. Every chapter initiated with a quote from different authors, followed by certain texts explaining the chapter, strongly supported by examples and sub-heads. It gives the reader various tips and examples of the same. I would have talked about all the chapters in detail but that would have killed the suspense and fun of the entire book.
After reading the book I felt that this book was something I badly needed as I was also at a stage where situations just seemed to be going against my favour. This book offers positive vibes and inspires a person. Out of all the chapters, my favourite one was ‘Burning Desire’ as this chapter very well described on how to let our desires flow openly and endlessly, and steps to turn them real.
The most creative part of the book was the name of the chapters. I noticed that each and every chapter’s name was supported with an adjective. For example, ‘Magic of Gratitude,’ ‘Power of Forgiveness,’ etc, hence making the chapters more powerful and attractive enough to grab any reader’s attention.
Overall, the book is something that I am sure most of us would love to read and the words are inspiring enough to remain in our memories for a long period of time.

I picked this book up thinking it might be a novel or story book but to my surprise it turned out different. It is a self help book. I have read as many self help book as possible few years ago then suddenly I stopped. Now after a long I came across this book and I am glad that I picked this up. As it’s a self help book, the book is based on concepts like positivity, visualisation, meditation, law of attraction, affirmation etc. but what I really like about this book is author has included short short stories or incidents related to that topic, that way it’s easily understandable. The concepts are explained well. Self performing exercises and tips have also been included but I was expecting more of those exercises. Author has also quoted some nice quotes and examples from other self help books so instead of reading all, you can directly give this one a try as important things have been included. Like example “Burning brides technique” etc. If we see generally, I like the concept as in today’s time, people are suffering from more or more mental health related issues. So it will be helpful to them. Also it’s motivational for anyone who want to achieve their dreams. The book is written in simple and easily understandable language so that everyone can read and understand. Concepts are well explained. Overall good one.

Live, Love and Laugh is a self-help book. It is similar to books such as ‘The Power of Your Subconscious Mind’ by Dr. Joseph Murphy and ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne is one of my favorite books. The author tries to combine the concepts mentioned in the above two books. The book talks about ‘Law of Attraction’, ‘Art of Living’, Yoga, ‘Law of Gratitude’, self-love, Belief system, Appreciation, and Meditation.

Every part of the narration pampers the readers with the real life examples through which one can connect easily and find it easily relative and relevant. The teachings of the book with respect to yoga, optimism and aspirations are exceptionally explained without giving it a look of cliche self help plots.
My Take: The book is unexpectedly relatable and lucid in context but rich in learnings. Sometimes, we need to take care of our emotions in depth, and this book creates depth with mysticism. Inspired and much rejuvenated, the book is definitely a much needed introspective break from life and it has indelible impression on the readers.
Critique: The book could have been a bit comprehensive in approach towards the narration and chosen words. Some places are dragged in the undue influential context which could have been reduced.

This is a self-help book which immensely tries to touch deep roots of life, stability, love, gratitude and other important aspects of life. It explains how you should go to higher frequency(enthusiastic people around) when you feel low or upset for trivial things and it's your decision if you want to get influenced with positive energy or negative energy. It tries to explain the impact of practicing kindness and smiling throughout the day through simple techniques.
