Needs more work
Good storyline let down by poor editing /proofreading. Relying on spellchecker is not enough. It cannot differentiate between bear and bare. Mistakes like this jolt the reader out of the fantasy world and decrease enjoyment. Because of this am unlikely to purchase further books by author.

I read Shadow of the Wolf

I honestly didn’t like this story AT ALL! At 1st I thought the story was interesting but I just couldn’t connect with the Ryland. He was not a kind alpha, nobody respected him they were actually afraid of him! When he met Krista there was no magic between them. I’m used to the wolf claiming the female as they’re mate.. not on this book. They felt nothing. It was very slow in developing the characters & the story had a lot if potential but felt flat. Even after they slept together, there was still no magic at all. After that he even talked to her very harshly. After that I kept skimming through the pages & I just stopped reading. Didn’t want go waste anymore of my time!

All three of the books were very good. It does have some very explicit scenes if that is not what you like to read. All the stories were interesting in the way they were written. The basis of the stories catch your imagination and you want to continue reading to find out what happens next.

Book 1 was a disappointment tbh.
It was like a shifter version of ya. Including the actual shifter.
I skimmed most of the 2nd half of this book when I realised it wasn't going to get much better.
There's just something missing, it was soulless and empty. It just all felt very superficial.
Not my kind of shifter book and I really font like the authors writing style.

Nice
All of the stories were unique and interesting. I really enjoyed reading them. Amelia Wilson is a talented author and I would definitely recommend her books to everyone who enjoys books about shifters. These were great!

A very intriguing set of books. Each story is unique with a captivating plot that held my attention throughout. I read the audio version and I havd one dissopointment, I couldn’t give five stars with such an unsuitable narration.

3Wows ~ 3 great stories that will warm your hearts about shifter love.
Each story is different but love does rule out. Each character struggles in different ways. Some exciting and somewhat a mystery. I enjoyed the series. Amelia evokes all your emotions. Bravo girl.

Three great standalone paranormal stories focusing on wolf shifters. Full of action, emotion, and romance each story will draw you into the pages. Here are my reviews for each book in this set.
Seeking the Alpha - I really enjoyed this story. It tells a tale about two childhood best friends that were on the verge of becoming something more when tragedy takes them away from each other. Their years apart weren't easy on either of them. Mia and Rowan spent their lives missing each other and hoping to one day be reunited. But their reunion is bittersweet as both of them have secrets and are running away from the past. But together with their new friends/family they find the strength and determination to set out on a new life and find true happiness together. I hope there are more stories for some of the other characters in this story in the future.
Shadow of the Wolf - A captivating read full of twists and turns that will grab you from the very first page. Ryland is the alpha of his pack, the strongest pack in the city, but there has been some mysterious shifter disappearances lately. Things get complicated when one of their missions takes a turn for the worse. Seeking answers, Ryland turns to a fortune teller. Krista may tell fortunes, but lately she's been having some strange visions and things only get crazier when she meets Ryland. Fractured packs, ancient gods, evil cults, and a struggling oracle all combine for a mesmerizing and thrilling story.
Secrets of the Alpha - Lots of twists and surprises in this book. Danielle is just minding her own business taking nature photos when she captures wolves shifting into humans. That could mean her death, but she unknowingly saves herself by dropping her roommates name. Alice swore to never return to her pack's territory, but when he best friend and roommate calls needing her help, she drops everything to come to her rescue. But things aren't as simple as they appear, and both Danielle and Alice discover secrets. Seeking the Alpha
I, personally, think her paranormal stories are where Amelia Wilson shines the brightest. (I haven’t been able to really get into any of the alien series.) This book brought me back to a lot of what I love the best. Complex, angsty characters that aren’t over-the-top dramatic. A romance that takes most of the story to fully develop. Detailed backstories that are fleshed out over the course of the book but still have enough hazy elements to leave us wanting to read more. And a cast of intriguing secondary characters that could star in their own stories. These are some of my favorite features from this book and I look forward to reading more about The Lost Shadow Pack, their allies, and their enemies.

I was so torn over whether to read it really fast to find out how it would turn out for Ryland and Krista or to read it slowly and savor every moment. I thought Krista was this amazing mix of confident and insecure. While Ryland had his self-worth wrapped up in the wrong qualities. I loved watching this pair overcome their personal trials to claim victory over their enemy. Already I’m in love with this new world and I can’t wait to see if we get more stories from it.

This book is filled with surprises and betrayals, and nothing is quite what it appears to be. As the leader of the Rogue Pack Ryland Iker was the strongest, hard and dominant of them but also, the more threatened. With things out of control Krista and Ryland were to join forces to face an evil who was threatening all that mattered to them. But evil had a second face. Good and strong characters, action, suspense, mystery, darkness, rituals, betrayal, violence, passion with a well-paced plot development that kept me reading enjoying the twists in the story.
