Still as good as the first time. Type of novella that hits the spot right.

Crap, this was good. Though it’s a novella, it felt like a complete and full story and I’m obsessed!
I need to read everything Asia Monique has written! And will continue to write. 🤩
If you decide to venture into this romance series, I’d recommend reading them in this order, as per the author’s suggestion, since the books do have interweaving storylines.

I really liked. It's a short, sexy and sweet story about two people connecting and feeling a pull through each other from the first meeting.
I'm usually a girl who enjoys the slow building of a relationship, seeing the connection, the similarities, the differences, what makes them love each other, but I understand that with a short story/novella that's now 100% possible. Still a great read

Loving The New Characters
I'm so loving these new characters without all the extra drama going on. I like how opposites attract with Elijah and Nova. He's a refined attorney and she's a free spirited artist but they connected instantly on a deep soulmate level. The situation with Elijah and Elena's father and mother is so sad. Their father made the sacrifice to plead guilty to a murder that their mother did while she was strung out on drug but it made her get clean and turn her life around. It's so sad that their mother is also suffering from early Alzheimers probably from the guilt of her actions that put her husband behind bars. I like how Nova and her family are generational wealthy but act down to earth. I like the twin dynamics between Noah and Nova but they don't interfere in each other lives. I can't wait to see what happened to Brynlee in college and read Brynlee and Samir's love journey. I hope Noah and Elena get it together to but I understand her holding back from him with him just getting out of a fourteen year relationship.

Confident that this an amazing read!
Confidently Lost by Asia Monique is a love story about artist/sculptor Nova White and lawyer Elijah Brooks. Their meet cue on Brooklyn Bridge is sweet, you feel the connection from the first “hi”. But that second chance encounter was everything! You could feel the energy changing when they decided to take charge of the opportunity the universe had bestowed upon them for the second time. All of their moments were just too good. Nova the great and Elijah come with the vibes.

Great Book!
I enjoyed Nova and Elijah's story! That first meeting was everything! It was so interesting that even though Elijah wasn't as consciously intuitive as Nova, he still recognized that there was something fated about those first run-ins with each other. There was an edge about Elijah that was so sexy! I hate the right spot his parents put him in, but good for him putting his foot down about it. It was beautiful watching Nova and Elijah's love grow and flourish. Can't wait to read Elena's story! One more thing, I really wish I could have seen the art pieces, especially the ballerina sculptures!

Elijah and Nova’s relationship and the love that was shown was just too sweet and beautifully written. These are my favourite storylines which show the purity, the allure and elation, as well as the sensuousness and appeal of love.

Oh, did I love Nova! She was quirky, but smart and insightful. She lived her life her way, unapologetically. Wow! The way the world tilted when Elijah and Nova met was powerful! The way their hearts and minds connected was so magical, it felt spiritual! Although Elijah is experiencing issues with his dad, his love for Nova always brings him through the tough spots. Great read, and looking forward to the upcoming books! 👍👍

Very Good Book
I really enjoyed reading this book. Nova never thought she would find love. Then she meets Elijah on the Brooklyn Bridge. It was fate that brought them together. Elijah was going through some family issues meeting Nova was just what they both needed. I love reading all of your books Asia. Can't wait for your next book.

Find me
Nova and Elijah's story was good. After reading the Flower Sisters series, I took interest in their friends and this couple was one of them. Not necessarily a couple I was eager to read about, yet I wanted to see how all the couples started.
Nova was an artist and it was evident in her demeanor and how she went about life. Once her parents were introduced, especially her mother, I could see why she was the way she was. I liked her free spirit and honesty. I like that she knew that she didn't love her ex, or exes, bc they didn't move her, mainly her heart. Meeting Elijah was different and the instant need and want for him was new, yet thrilling for her. I love the relationship she had with her twin brother Noah. His relationship with Elijah's sister, Elena, is one I'm eager to dive into.
Elijah was a bit of a mystery to me. I like that he's really great at being a lawyer and has the utmost respect for his colleagues; the ones on his side or not. I was thinking he and Jaslyn Edwards, the DA and a part of the infamous Edwards family (whom I'm very interested in reading more about), had something romantic going on, yet I can see that they're just really great friends and I love that. I'm a little confused on why Elijah has these mixed feelings for his father, yet I'm sure it'll all be revealed in Elena's story. I like how he took to Nova just as instantaneously as she did to him. I hate that he felt he had to back off their relationship to protect her spirit, instead of just being open with her. I'm glad they worked through it.
This was a fast paced love story, yet one that gave me more on this couple. I like that we see the Flower Sisters, pre-romance and love. Albeit brief, I'm glad they were in this story.
Up next is Ms. Brynlee. The sisters seemed to all have this special bond with her and I'm interested in seeing just how special she is, and how her relationship with Samir began.
Another good story by Asia Monique. Once I find an author who intrigues me, I dive into their catalog and she's definitely keeping me intrigued.

This was a low angst black romance between two people who weren't really looking for love. However, the minute they met, they knew it was something about the other person that would change them forever.

Asia Monique did something you rarely see in a black romance - she explicitly stated that this is not the book for you if you like drama and heartache. It's common for our black romances to fall under the urban novel genre, usually involving illegal activity and a toxic main character who must do everything with a melodramatic flourish. Monique prides herself on writing about healthy black love, and successful black men in particular, and what a breath of fresh air is.
Nova is a pioneering artist who feels everything and uses art as her medium of expression, while Elijah is a quintessential stoic lawyer. What do the two have in common when they meet on a bridge late at night? Everything! This story is an excellent example of how opposites attract, and it's nothing but fireworks from start to finish!
I enjoyed how Monique shed light on the black man's psyche and how they express their love. Elijah showed family dysfunctions does not always equate to their partner suffering from their childhood trauma. He was able to be what Nova needs a caring, strong-willed leader. I adored this story; it gives you all the feels!

Nova had just gotten out a year long relationship with a guy who loved her but she didnt love him back. Elijah wanted a meaningful relationship and no more hookups. One night they meet each other and their hearts knew that they have found who they were look. Their relationship moved fast, but they both felt the same about each other. At one point Elijah backed away and this made Nova second guess if this was really going to work. This was my first read by this author and I smiled from the beginning to the ending and loved Nova and Elijah as a couple. I loved the flow of the story and getting an introduction to Brynlee, Elena and Noah. This will not be my last book by this author!!!

This book...wow I don’t even know what to say. First of all, I highly recommend going into this book completely blind as I did. I truly enjoyed reading this book without having a clue what it was able. This books follows Nova who is an artist specifically she is a sculptor. Elijah is a lawyer and these two have the most beautiful story.
Asia Monique is a gorgeous writer! She is absolutely phenomenal and I am obsessed with our main characters and the side characters. I would describe vibe of this book was romantic and poetic. I haven’t done my best as describing this book because I just loved it so much. I’m so excited for Brynlee and Samir story.

No one like Nova
I was NOT ready to say goodbye to these two!! There's no one like Nova. She is the sweetest, eccentric type character that authors neglect to write about. She's simplicity in a big way. I loved her character her job and more importantly her love for other people. The breakup scene, ladies reading this take notes please. The universe was aligned for her and Elijah, so why hold onto wasted space. Very good read and once again this author's writing will leave you not only captivated but searching goals within yourself.

Elijah and Nova had the cutest most honest type of relationship! Kindred souls that found each other at the best time possible! I loved how developed the characters were and how confident they were separate and together which is so refreshing! I get tired of the girls that always need a man to be complete. She was truly fine pacing herself through life and not settling and he was the same! The supporting characters were great and I can’t wait to read their stories!

Awaken Souls
I liked how Nova was such a peaceful spirit. I liked how she didn't let someone else's love for her to define her. Elijah needed Nova to help him became at peace with a lot that he had going on. I can't wait to read the next book. Elena and Noah I'm really ready for that book.

Elijah and Nova's story was a hit for me. They were two people who seemed closed off from love and emotions but all it took was a chance meeting for a spark to ignite. I wasn't ready for the ending because of all of the drama left unresolved, so I'll be glad when Elena's story is out.

Great story
I have read all of Asia Monique’s books and I can see so much growth and development with this story. The layers to the characters and the depth to the story was amazing. I’m enjoying meeting these new characters and look forward to meeting more.

Just plain old love 😍
This was such a wonderful story I really like Nova and Elijah. They were meant to be and the attraction between them was so strong they both knew it. I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop.

Love Confidently Found
I loved Elijah and Nova's story. We can find and have love without the drama of other people making it complicated. I love to read about people who know what they want and go for it. Can't wait to read Brynlynne and Eleane stories
