Mistress of shadows meets the cutest shifter she could imagine, and he sweeps her off her feet... eventually.
Sireno has grown up knowing that she is the key to the magic that keeps her parents apart. It hasn’t been a fun burden to bear when her mom announces that it is time for her to head to the Crossroads to break the binding.
Aeric has seen Sireno in action, both as a shadow who can lift objects and testifying fearlessly in the Mage Guild courts. Her beauty and wit only match her versatility. Without lying outright, she obfuscated enough to make him doubt what he had witnessed. What a woman.
Once she is at the Crossroads, she is ready to settle in, but she gets an emergency call. She sends her shadow out to get two shifters out of trouble, but she is shocked when one of them returns to the Crossroads, looking for her.
With a stunned realization, she finds that she was waiting for him all along.
Zenina Masters was born in Canada and lives in Canada. She has a regular job and does nothing particularly exciting with her life. She enjoys fishing, silence and the ability to pick and choose friends she can trust. Life is too short to watch your back all the time.
Her writing life is a teeny bit of escapism, she would probably chicken out if confronted by three naked men and looks forward to one day finding out.
OK under the heading of cutest critter EVER....we have the Quokka. My favorite Australian EVER!Now, combine that with a muscled hunk with a steely stare and chiseled jawline? Our poor heroine doesn't stand a chance...she is toast!! A moment, while I try to recover from all the squeeeeee. Good story, and I'm seriously looking forward to the next installment....it's MORE than time for Tony & Teal's story, but back to this one. I liked the girl, her professionalism, her exasperation with her mother, and her high level of self-realization make her very believable. Her reaction to her sweetie's little beastie is the icing on the cake.
This is the 4th instalment of this series. I recommend each of these books and they are even more fun to read them all 1 after the other all together. I am making this recommendation after rereading the series together. Truly an excellent way to spend a few hours.
I adored this one. More, please. Maybe a storytelling about the triplets three talents, boy or girl. Three different adventures. Keep up the wonderful work. This author is always on my first purchase list.
