Three gorgeous military men who know just what they want. A woman to protect, to cherish, and to share. Forever.
As a nurse at the VA hospital, I can take on any challenge. I understand medicine. Men – not so much. I’m a little on the shy side when I get around a guy – let alone three guys.
But Sergeants Farrell, Strom, and Wilson make it clear that they want me. And they want to share me. Each man is strong and handsome and in his own way gets my pulse racing.
Sergeant Aaron Farrell lives to challenge anyone. It’s a wonder they haven’t booted him from the military. Tall, tatted, he’s trouble in a fine-fitting uniform. His easy smile hides a domineering core.
Sergeant Hux Strom is as sweet as he is charming. He’s recovering from an injury, but he’s more than ready to whisper dirty things in my ear. His grey eyes and intense gaze promise wicked games.
Sergeant Matt Wilson is a true Southern gentleman. He’s mannerly and kindhearted and has wanted me from the beginning.
These military men are best friends who love to share. They click together like pieces of a puzzle, and they promise that I’ll fit perfectly between them.
***Illusions is a sensual reverse harem novel for fans searching for suspense with their steam and alpha military men as edgy as they are protective. The ultimate fantasy becomes a heart-pounding reality in the final installment of the Power of Love series.***
I read the entire series and although I enjoyed them I feel like I was missing endings. Every book ended abruptly and I didn’t get enough follow-up in the next book. It feels like the characters in all the previous books were just dropped without closure. I wish the author would have spent a few minutes with updates on the previous books.
I love this story and the drama. I love how she worked through getting to the point of saying this was the lifestyle for her. She is their Queen. The scenes were pretty hot too. I love it!!
ONE DAZZLING, SIZZLING DELIGHT!!! Blazing! This talented duo not only hit the motherload, they blasted the vault wide open in this delightfully, delectable wild ride. Carefully treading through the trials and tribulations, blowing past the sharp twists and sleek turns, testing our characters in ways they could never have anticipated. Divvying up incredibly well rounded scenario's that punch dead center with such intensity and precision, catapulting this gem into a tailspin with astonishing impacts. The characters chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The characters and their on point personalities are genuine and original with traits and qualities that blend with one another perfectly. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions paints a magnificent backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Fantastic job guys, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Kendall is a nurse at the VA hospital, and three recent patients in her care happen to be Marine friends: Matt, Huxe, and Aaron. These guys are sweet, hot, with no PTSD traces in spite of their injuries and Matt's loss of legs. Kendall was exposed to Annie's love life and three of her friends at the hospital have taken up Annie's lifestyle and encouraged Kendall to do the same. When Matt, the second to be discharged, is ready to leave, Kendall has an idea to offer them Annie's condo for the three of them to live in as they continue rehab therapy. Read this last book of the series to see how Kendall deals with an elder nurse who reports her for inappropriate behavior and how she handles her three older brothers who drive all night to save her! I volunteered this review after receiving an ARC.
Although each book is a standalone story, recurring characters and themes tie the series together. We never did find out why Kendall is so gun shy about relationships, but I really enjoyed the slow burn pace as she got to know each of her men. Even better, was including a strong male character, fully capable of being an equal partner, lover, friend and more, despite the fact that he has prosthetic legs. More books should be inclusive like this. Loved it!
This was a pretty good reverse harem read. Like the previous books, Kendal discovered her friend’s secret life with her harem after her death. The other three remaining friends, Lacey, Marley, and Harper, have all found happiness with a harem of their own. But Kendal is not sure it’s for her. There’s a bit of a workplace bullying in this story with was interesting. I loved Hux, Matt, and Aaron but I wish the book was longer to really get to know them. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Bad Boy Update and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. It's the final installment of the series and you'll have the last one of the four friends getting involved with three handsome Marines. Another very nice story that totally fits into the series, though this one has just a little better story to be told. I loved this series quite much, to bad it's over now.
A great story to read keeps you interested and wanting to know what happens next. Kendall struggles with what she wants, but when she relaxes and follows her heart it is great. Matt, Aaron and Hux are a great match for Kendall, with them being friends from the start helps alot for Kendall to fit right in.
This is book 4 in the series and if I'm being honest, I haven't really enjoyed any of the books. I felt that they all were a bit flat for my taste and I enjoy this author so it's been a bit of a surprise for me. Now just because I haven't enjoyed the books, doesn't mean you won't. Please read the reviews and the authors synopsis so you can make the best decision to see if this is a book for you.
Sabotage in the work place, while trying to navigate a new relationship with the guys is causing lots of extra stress for her. But with a little help from all her guys there is nothing she can’t do!!
These three guys hold nothing back, but the sweet and shy nurse is coming out of her shell. Especially when things get tough with work and her family. I loved this one as much if not more than the last ones.
I really enjoyed this series and the last book does not disappoint! Kendall finally get's what all her friends mean when they said their men complete their lives. Not only is Kendall's story great, but the it ties up all the stories into an ending that doesn't dissapoint!
I have read the other stories of this series and they just get better and better. I like the way they build their harem and how they all get along. Great job. Read this series, you'll enjoy it too.
I really have liked this series and loved the characters but there have been some inconsistencies between the stories. I would have liked to email the author directly to point them out but since that isn't possible I have to write it here. Over all she is a great writer.
