Star Defenders

Rate this book
With new alliances and powers beyond comprehension, our team seems unstoppable.

That is, until they uncover the reason so much of our past has been buried.

Shrina went from FBI to kickass demi-dragon, but a new power is rising and it's up to her to stop it. In space, Espinoza and his team have a new world to explore, while Trent has brought the intergalactic war to new levels.

Will Shrina be able to stand against the risen dragon? How do the Goldies and their hosts play into the ultimate war for the universe's fate? Will Trent be able to rally an alien army to stand against the Exiles?

The third book in the Ascension Gate series. Perfect for fans of Mass Effect, Stargate SG-1, and Pern.

“Our priority right now is having the team together.”
Justin Sloan has totally captivated me with this series! The descriptive language and the way he describes the feelings the characters go through is overwhelming and so realistic and 3 dimensional, I could SEE how they moved and feel their wounds! The author delivers the pleasures of a well-drawn future, with an uncommonly authentic and credible science-fiction backdrop, but what makes this novel so unexpectedly refreshing as genre fiction is how deeply and decisively character-driven it is, with three and more different points of view. And the cover art is brilliant, as they always tea with all of Sloan’s series. I’m loving this astounding and bizarre series! Good to know book #4 is coming out soon!

Stargate inspired perhaps, no complaints here as that is my all time favourite Scifi Series.

A little confusing even though I liked the story.

Going from group to group kept me going back and forth to remember who was with who. Overall I enjoyed it and will read the next book.

It got Better

I suddenly realised what the author was up to. I grew up on comic books of superheroes. I started with a three and I end with a five for this three part series.

Well this little adventure led us to some very interesting little twists and turns. I find myself thinking that Shrina makes one sexy demi-dragon.
