A silverback seasoned shifters romance

He’d waited half a lifetime for her. There was no way he could let her walk away.

Renowned sculptor, and father to baby Milly, Tad has seen his brother meet and fall in love with his mate. He’d almost given up hope that she would walk into his life. But she did. She walked right into his studio and asked for his help.

And he could not say no. Never. Ever.

Even if helping his mate, Heather, meant standing in front of a crowd of people and making a speech. Yeah. Give him a child to protect. Or a mate to defend and he’d do it. No question. But public speaking? Hell no!

But she asked. So he’ll do it. Because she needs a win. She needs her plans to come to fruition. She needs to feel that rush of triumph to be able to get over her past.

So of course, he’ll do it. She’s his mate.

Thaddeus Harrison. The guy makes her go weak at the knees. Not a thing Heather had ever expected when she makes a last-minute plea to the famous sculptor to open her new business venture. But then he’s not your average sculptor.

He is so much...more.

There is something about him. Something she can’t explain. Maybe that’s it. A little mystery goes a long way. And she’d be willing to go all the way with him.

Not that she has time to go anywhere. Moving to a new town with her two children and her mother, and opening a new business, takes all her time and energy. There is no time for a man in her life. And she wouldn’t want one even if there was.
However, being with Tad makes anything possible. Even a happy ever after in the arms of a man she loves.

But just when Heather thinks she’s got it all worked out, her ex-husband shows up to ruin everything. Or so he thinks. But Heather has grown, she’s a different person. A new person.

With Tad by her side. She will succeed. Because when Tad looks at her with those soft, sensual eyes she can do anything. Be anything.

Most of all, Heather can be Tad’s mate. Forever.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I thought Tad and Heather were great together. I really liked her kids Bella and Zack and I really loved that even though Tad would’ve loved sending Heather’s a*sehole of an ex and a distant father Andy away but he didn’t, as he just wants the best for Bella and Zack and it’s obvious that they love their father and just want to spend time with him. I just goes to shows what type of person Tad is. I loved seeing Jake let go of some of his barriers and play with Zack and Bella and how he was so excited to go Trick or Treating with them. I’m really looking forward to his story as he really deserves his happily ever after. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

This one similar to the first in a lot of ways. I liked how Tad realized Heather was his mate and did what he could to help her out, took time to get to know her a bit before he sprung the idea of mates on her. That went pretty well, so did it when it was time to tell her that he was a bear shifter. For some reason I thought Heather would freak out about that, instead she was just in awe of his bear, as she should be. The only drama came from Heather's ex-husband, who is a douche. I'm glad that Tad and others were able to put him in his place. I liked the ending, liked how the family is growing and how they are expanding their homestead.

Brilliant

Tad (Three Silverback Bears and a Baby Book 2) by a Raines. Heather is opening a craft barn in Bear Creek. The person who was doing the opening cancels at the last moment. Heather goes to Tad Harrison to see if he could do the opening. As soon as Tad sees Heather he knows he has met his mate. Heather feels something but doesn't know what.

The artist

Tad was the artist and on the spot dad. When Heather lost the speaker for the Craft Barn she went to talk to him. Sparks flew.

This is an OK shifter romance, and a good addition to the series. Tad and Heather are a likable couple, and I liked Tad's brothers and little baby Millie (who were all introduced in Max's book). It is a quick read, so there wasn't time for as much character development as I like -- but there was enough to like the couple and to want them to find their HEA. I liked that Tad's brothers automatically accepted Heather and her family (even her mother and great-aunt) into their own growing family. I hope we get Jake's story soon.

I did think that Heather, given her history with her ex-husband, would have fought her attraction to Tad a little more than she did -- but that was a minor issue. I get that most shifter romances feature instalove.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Reviewed at Shifter Haven

Now, that is a very long and detailed Cover Description. So, in reality, this review is going to be very short because – look up there – .

Tad is the creative brother, the sculptor who doesn’t mind being on his own in his work of creating beautiful, emotional sculptures. But being alone without finding his mate yet, well, that a different feeling. But he’s having fun being one of baby Milly’s three daddies, enjoying seeing his brother Max and Josephine so very happy together – and a bit worried about how Jake is handling all of these changes.

His future is about to step into his workroom and change his life forever. Heather has a lot on her plate with getting the Craft Barn up and running, moving to Bear Creek and leaving the jerk of her ex-husband in the dust. The last thing she wanted to be was asking a favor of a famous local sculptor with the opening of the Craft Barn. She’s not sure what hit her but she does know that her attraction to this handsome man was too fast for her comfort. Yet that’s not going to stop her from finding out all she can about Tad because just maybe her future isn’t as alone as she thought it would be.

TAD is an easy, laid-back story with one ex-husband being a selfish jerk as the most drama. I had fun with Heather and Tad, enjoyed the secondary characters — and I’m anxiously waiting for Jake’s mate to show, she’s got to be something special for this lonely bear.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Sweet shifter romance

I am loving this batch of Bear Creek stories, and can't wait for Jake's turn. Tad is a reclusive sculptor, when Heather stops by to ask him to give an opening speech and teach a master class for her new venture. He does, but only because she is his mate! There are a lot of great scenes in this story, and the characters are vibrant and engaging, especially the kids. The pace is more relaxed, the tone is hopeful, and the storyline is character oriented with some steamy scenes near the end. I especially loved how well Tad interacts with Heather's kids. Read this series in order. But if you want a more complete picture, read the Bear Creek and Bear Bluff box set, then the Return to Bear Bluff box set and the Return to Bear Creek book in many box sets. There are lots of other side series, as I consider this one #8! So if you try these 2 and you Enjoy them, you have lots more to get and enjoy!

In book 2 of Three Silverback Bears and a Baby; second brother Tad is up for a change in his life. He and his brothers have accepted custody of baby Milly jointly and are just getting started in their new lives as fathers. Tad is very happy at the change in his life, he adores Milly and she feels the same way about him.

Tad is a sculptor, who works from home, Heather is a divorced mom of two, who is opening a craft barn in Bear Creek. When her aunt breaks her arm, just before the grand opening. Heather stops by Tad's home to ask him if he will do the ribbon cutting and give a speech for a master class. Tad has realized that Heather is his mate and he can't refuse anything she asks. The only problem is Tad is terrified of public speaking, but since Heather asked, he has to do something.

This is a great story, between Tad's stage fright and the craft barn opening, things get interesting. It's another great read!

Wondrous and Whimsical

Thaddeus and Heather are a wonderful pair. Tad is a Silverback bear shifter, waiting for his mate and a family. Sure he has two brothers, Jake and Max, who together have adopted his late cousin's baby girl. And Max's new mate Josephine is a welcome addition to the family. But it's not the same as his own mate and cubs. Tad is a sculptor, solitary by trade, reclusive by nature but Heather is opening a new artist enclave where people can buy local art. When Heather asks Tad to help with this undertaking, he must say yes, because she's his mate, and he must. He soon learns she comes with two adorable children, a despicable ex and an eccentric mom and aunt. Craziness ensues, but none of it matters as long as Heather and Tad are together. Filled with whimsy and dreams coming true this is a delightful story of love in all its forms.

Warm and Fuzzy

So sweet, the heroine had been mentally beat down by her ex husband. You can't do anything right, your hair look awful, what is wrong with your clothes, on and on. Plus he cheated on her. Finally she divorced him and moved her mother and her two children to Bear Creek. Thaddeus Harrison was wondering if he would ever meet his mate. His brother Max had met his mate, the Harrison Brothers had adopted their deceased cousin's baby. But what about his mate. The heroine needed someone to give a speech and cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the craft barn who better than Bear Creek's own world renowned sculptor Thaddeus Harrison when she approached his Thad knew she was his mate. Hooray🎉🎉🎉🎉. There is a little drama when the ex husband shows up. Already purchased Jake's story so excited that he finally meet his mate.

Love this series

Tad: Three Silverback Bears and a Baby Book Two
By Harmony Raines
Kindle unlimited purchase
Tad is happy his brother Max found his mate after all this time. But he didn't think that his oldest brother, Jake and himself would be so lucky.
Heather, her children, and her mother just moved to Bear Creek after Heather's divorce. When Heather moved to bear creek she knew it would be the best decision for her family but she never imagined she would meet the man that would love her and her children.
This is the second book in this series. I've loved all the books written around bear creek and this mountain I do recommend you start at the beginning. But if you don't you won't miss anything.

Another hit series by Harmony Raines

Heather is a single mom recently moved to Bear Creek and opening a craft barn. She meets near shifter Tax Harrison, one of three brothers who are guardians of their late cousin's baby girl. All three brothers fall madly in love with baby Millie. Max finds Josephine, Millie's foster mother, is his mate. Now Tax meets Heather and finds his mate. Everyone wants Make to find his mate, so looking forward to book three.

These people are very special. One feels as if one is welcomed into their growing family, where everyday life would be filled with love and joy.

Another delightful and positive shifter romance for the over thirty set. Tad is a renowned sculptor and one of three shifter brothers and still waiting for his mate. Heather comes from a family of artists, finally divorced her swinger husband, is not an artist nor a shifter, but has two delightful children. Heather has put everything into her new business but suddenly needs help. Tad fears public speaking, but since he and his bear recognize her as their mate he will be what she needs anyway. There's a lot more and it's very well done! Loved it!

A Pleasure To Read

Tad and Heather are a mature couple who meet when Heather asks sculptor Tad to be the guest speaker at the Grand Opening of her Craft Barn. Tad immediately recognizes that Heather is his mate, but Heather is human and has no idea that shifters exist. She's also the mother of two young children. Tad is determined to convince Heather and her children that he's who they need to create a happy family. Now, if only Heather's ex-husband would stop making trouble. I love these stories! They are such a pleasure to read. I highly recommend this series.

Great read

Great addition to the series and I can't wait until Jake finds his mate. The dynamic between the brothers and the additions to their family is awesome. The interactions of the characters and the townspeople is very realistic. Opening the Bear Creek Craft Barn is a wonderful place for some of the interactions to take place. The artists and the opportunity of meeting them in the barn is an exciting element to the story. I would recommend this story and series to an adult reader that enjoys sexy shifter romances.

Tad and Heather

It is so much fun reading about these silverback bear shifters finding a mste when they least expect them. In the midst of getting used to having a baby in the house, Tad meets his mate Heather, who is in need of his help. Tad steps up to the plate despite his own fears. I like reading of these mature characters finding their true loves amongst dealing with aspects like kids and exes. Tad and Heather are a fit from the start. I am now looking forward to the final book in this series, Jake. I wonder what fate has in store for him?

Help Me Love Again

Heather is a single mom of two, divorced from a cheating husband & living with her widowed mom. Tad is a renowned sculptor, who offers to help her open an art barn, by doing a ribbon cutting in his home town of Bear Creek. This was a beautiful story of a Bear Shifter who has found his mate, and a woman who must learn to trust and love again. This isn’t only about her this time, there are children involved. Can she afford to fall for the handsome bear?

Tad is full of heart

This author is my hero. She brings her stories to life so that her readers feel as if they are part of the whole community too.
Fate brought Heather and Tad together because of art. They both have to face things that make them uncomfortable.
Heather has 2 precious and delightful children from a previous marriage. When her ex-husband makes an uncaring and selfish appearance Tad steps in so the kids don't get hurt anymore emotionally.

I just love that the characters in this portion of the series are older, and that even their "even older" parents and family members have a chance at love also. It seems like some authors forget that we need to dream too! LOL
I am so enjoying the Harrison brother's stories!

A mate, two kids, mother-in-law to be and so crazy Aunt. What could be better. Another great read to enjoy. Something to make you smile and lose yourself I for a short while. I think Jake's story is going to be emotional, funny and little wild.

Artists rule

Tad and Heather's story puts such a positive light on artists. That alone makes it a good story. Tad encouraging Zach's artistic talents was so great. Millie continued to melt my heart. I cannot wait to read Jake's story. I am sure that story will be just as touching as Max's and Tad's stories.

Bears and mates!

A great love story concerning mates and
children. The lengths a parent will go to in order for their children to be happy and safe has no bounds. When you find your mate and he feels the same about you and your children you're in heaven. But beware, there is always an ex in the background waiting to screw up your happiness!

A lovely sweet read.
Nice to have Thaddeus, Tad, get such a nice mate with similar interests as his own. The fact she has two great children is a bonus.
The family is growing nicely, just need Jakes story now.
Her ex husband is a total douche.
I was kindly offered this book but read it through KU.

Artists have true passion

Tad's well known sculpting brings him face to face with Heather. Heather, a single mother, was looking for an artist locally to take her aunts place in the grand opening of her craft barn. Fate has given him his mate and given Heather a life of love for her and her kids.
