This is my fourth book in the Cursed Coven Series, it was short & sweet. The plot was simple and a little predictable. I also wished we got to know more about the characters. All in all its an okay story 👍🏻

This is the second book I have read by Dyan Chick and I was not disappointed.

Wicked Creatures is the fourth book to be released in the Midnight Coven’s Cursed Coven series, which consists of thirteen different books, each penned by one of today’s hottest paranormal romance authors. While each story stands on its own with a happily ever after, characters do tend to wander from book to book, and you don’t want to miss a cameo by one of your favorites. You can read the novellas in any order.

Wicked Creatures is about a Witch who doesn't want her magic as it is dark, dangerous and destructive and a Warlock who likes his dark magic too much.

Caitlin runs into Marcos in a coffee shop and she instantly knows that he is a player, and wants to avoid him. But fate has other plans for them and keeps throwing them together. Being tricked into doing her grandmother a favour, Caitlin has to go to the covens annual ball at Magnolia House where she runs into to Marcos again. When a curse is placed on all the attendees at the ball Caitlin and Marcos ain’t going to be able to avoid each other now.

A quick, easy and enjoyable read.

A short story within the Midnight Coven's Cursed Coven Stories, Wicked Creatures is a fun little story about a witch who doesn't want her magic and a warlock who likes his too much. Caitlin knows that Marcos is a player with dangerous magic from the moment she meets him, but fate keeps throwing them together. As they deal with a curse that could change their lives forever, will they end up falling for each other despite their mutual dislike of relationships?
I don't usually like short stories because they lack the depth and details of a full-length story- I would have liked to know more about Caitlin and Marcos! Chick's writing, as always, is fast-paced and kept me engrossed until the last page!

Caitlin had her magic bound when she was 18 because it was dark magic and was destructive and she didn't want anything to do with it.

When Caitlin attends her sisters wedding she meets Marcos, a warlock with dark magic, in a coffee shop. Marcos' magic is drawn to Caitlin's magic even though hers is bound.

Caitlin's grandmother talks her into going to the annual Samhain festival as her representative. She discovers Marcos is at the festival as well. A curse is placed upon all the witch's there and Caitlin and Marcos' magic gets switched.

Can Caitlin and Marcus find a way to break the curse?

This is a multi author world where the common factor is that all of the witches are cursed when they attend a meeting

This is Caitlin and Marcos story She had her magic confined after she had a disaster when she was younger this also led her to the decision that she would never marry but that doesn't mean she can't dream of her perfect m,an Then at her sisters wedding she meets the one man that meets all of her dreams but she knows he isn't meant for her As they are both cursed they will have to work together if they are to break the spell and in the process the attraction between them will be off the charts Will Caitlin give up her vow to never marry

This is a fantastic story! I couldn't put it down. I was swept into the action from the first page.

Caitlin has had her powers bound because she is afraid of her magic. She just has to get through a family wedding and a fair to her grandmother. Marcos doesn't mind his magic and doesn't want to settle down yet. They keep running into each other and sparks fly. When they are cursed, will they learn to work together to break it?

This story grabbed my attention from the start and held it through the entire story. I read this in one sitting and was satisfied at the ending. For such a short story Caitlin and Marcos and even the secondary characters were well developed and the theme and was entertaining and the action fast paced. This is the first of the Midnight Coven stories I have read and if they all meet this standard I will be checking out the rest of them! Wicked Creatures by Dylan Chick is the fourth book in the Cursed Coven series. In this book, Caitlin attends her sister’s wedding when her grandmother tricks her into agreeing to attend the annual Samhain Ball as her grandmother’s representative. Once she arrives at the ball everything seems to go wrong starting with a man spilling a drink on her. This is an entertaining romance that was a thoroughly enjoyable read. If you love a quick and sassy love story, you will love this book as much as I do. Wicked Creatures is a magically entertaining romance.

This is my first book by this author and now I want to pick the others she has, especially the ones with The Midnight Coven. Marcos and Caitlyn have like a love-hate relationship but in the midst of a curse they have to work together. I like how their curse was different and without even knowing, they fell for each other while trying to break the curse. They were exactly what they needed at the right time.

This was too cute. Serious Playboy and the reluctant witch a match made. Caitlin bound her dark magic and swore off relationships. Marco was an eternal playboy until the night of the ball. Their magic was switched and they had to trust one another to break the curse. In doing so they found their mate in each other. Great read.

I devoured this fun little nugget in one sitting. It was fun to read, had great characters and a nice little world to escape into for a little while. How would you feel if the one thing you always wanted but never thought possible walked into the coffee bar you were standing in? It's an exciting premise to imagine.
