Bravo Margie - this was fantastic! I absolutely loved learning more of your life story and how you apply your life work to living, sharing and growing.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Margie at a neighborhood party this summer, we have become fast friends as coaches, Moms and women of faith.

What a treasure chest this book is - it is rich with so many tools and techniques to live your best life! The layout takes you through a thoughtful journey of "Daring, Growing and Becoming". Filled with great quotes, research and personal reflections.

Only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is because this content is not new to me as a practitioner in this space, but full of reminders as the inner work is hard and you can get lost in the journey...always in a state of learning, stretching and becoming.

This is a book about trusting yourself, getting out of your own way to achieve things that you actually want to achieve.

The book has three sections - daring, growing and becoming.

The author shared her own experiences multiple times. There was a chapter each dedicated to women and men, which was nice.

The book was very easy to read, with beautiful quotes and interesting stories. My only problem was that there was nothing new, it's all the same things I have heard from a thousand sources before. But the author tried her best to make it lively, and I would say she succeeded.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley.

I was blessed to be able to read this via a Kindle edition prior to publication. The notes I've taken from this read are in a word ' invaluable '. This book is more than just words on pages. I firmly consider it a life changing opportunity. Will be referring to my notes ( and the book ) often in the future.

This book is a perfect read for 2020! With so much uncertainty, heartbreak and loss that so many are experiencing, the human tendency is to retreat, not take risk, and second guess oneself. Fear is a slippery slope. Ms. Warrell provides deep insight as to why people tap into their fear rather than their courage and explains how to pivot from fear and self-doubt to trusting yourself to make the right decisions. The conversational style that she has in the book is effective at "talking people down from whatever tree" they may be stuck in and too afraid to climb down.

Recently, I've had to make some tough decisions. I stepped down from two activities, and I know it shocked people. In both situations, they tried to change my mind. Both of these decisions were right for me and the section in the book on saying "no" has been mantra.

Ms. Warrell's discussion on courage vs. confidence was very helpful. Through COVID-19, I have been leading with courage and my confidence level eventually caught up.

I've met very few people who have had trouble accepting success. The pandemic has tested everyone's resilience in the face of adversity. The pages of the chapter in the book on "surrender resistance" will be dog-eared before 2020 is over.

2020 is the year where it feels like so much is on the line. If you struggle trusting your leadership and decisions, it is up to you to change this. Start with "You've Got This!"

‘You’ve Got This!’ came into my hands at the perfect time. I had just quit my job as a teacher and was in the midst of a personal crossroads; where to next and how do I explain what I did to others? Margie positively challenges you to empower yourself. Her writing is whole-heartedly sincere and her personal stories are easy to relate to. I have found myself making notes to refer back to, and her quotes I could plaster around the house for motivation! This book has helped me to realise that what is happening in my life is simply a learning curve and a turning point that will help me grow into the person that I really want to be. I’m not there yet, but in her terms, are learning to ‘embrace my fallibility’ and ‘strengthen my wings’. There are so many tips in this book on how to be more courageous and trust yourself, it will forever remain on my bookshelf to read again and again. Thank you Margie for an inspirational book and I shall continue to listen to your podcasts until you write your next book!

“Sometimes we have to be braver than we want to be.” When Margie wrote the opening line to this book, it’s easy to believe that she was somehow reaching through time to speak to a world beset by uncertainty, disruption and fear. Indeed, Margie’s message of encouragement, empowerment and daring could not have felt more relevant, more prophetic, and more likely to resonate with her readers than it does, right now. Each chapter of You've Got This! – each story, explanation and practical tip – is infused with intelligence, compassion and an endearing vulnerability. The entire book felt like a comforting conversation with a wise and trusted friend. In a moment in history where fear, uncertainty and a yearning for comfort abound, Margie offers timely reassurance: Believe in yourself. Dream big. You’ve got this.

You've Got This is a very motivational and inspirational book. Having faith, trusting your instincts and believing in yourself, as well as realising you may not always get everything right but it will help you challenge yourself in achieving your ambition. Your negative thoughts will become more positive ones and you will learn to have faith in your ideas and abilities. You will want to read it again and again, to help you with your ambitions for the future and to tell yourself you've got this! In this challenging times it certainly helped me. Margie has a wealth of knowledge that I'm sure you will want to tap into.

While the author clearly didn't know this book would be coming out in the middle of the Coronavirus crisis, it's written for anyone who is struggling to keep fear in check and trust themselves to handle the challenges ahead. I loved the author's authentic voice, humor and very down to earth honestly. Definitely not just another full of hot air, 'self help' book. So if you ever doubt yourself too much or struggle to keep faith in yourself and your future, don't think twice, just buy this book. You will NOT regret it.

I felt connected to Margie’s words and this book from the first page! Of course the title spoke to me and got me curious, yet the manner in which she conveyed her messages truly provided “light bulb” moments. I have never highlighted so many pages of a book for future reference so I can reflect back. Thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who feels stuck for whatever reason.......or even if you just need a boost to regain motivation or self esteem. Thank you Margie :)

This book came out at a great time. It was just what I needed. I loved how she wove personal stories to drive home her points to make them more memorable. It was a quick read that inspired me to have faith that one baby step at a time will lead me to something greater. In a time when there is so much unknown and instability, this book is a lovely nudge to help you to keep moving in the right direction.

LOVED THIS BOOK! It came at a time in my life where I needed to, in Margie's words, 'back myself more'. 'You've Got This' ticked so many boxes for me and I will be reading it over and over. Do yourself a favour - if you need a kick along in life and to be 'brave' - check out Margie's new book. I thank her, from the very bottom of my heart, for writing it.

What a great read! I absolutely loved this book📖

If you have a habit of playing small and staying in your comfort zone, have a hard time believing in yourself, struggle with imposter syndrome, or have a fear of failure - this is definitely for you.

It’s from the perspective of a woman and a mother, but it was written for everyone regardless of gender identity.

Overall very good. Some points that didn’t resonate, but I sort of went into it knowing that it wouldn’t be 100% right for me but I could take what I wanted out of it. Did have some good advice I was able to apply to my life and was generally well written.

I was first introduced to Dr. Margie Warrell when my undergraduate alumni association hosted a webinar featuring the author. The focus of the webinar was on gender parity in the workplace (dubbed the She-cession), a condition that has been exacerbated to an even worse degree as the pandemic continues. I received a copy of this book as a webinar attendee and it sat on my bookshelf until I quit my job and found myself with time on my hands to read. The time was absolutely right to pick up this book. Warrell writes this book as a personal guide to defeating self-doubt - with a methodical breakdown of why our doubt is unfounded and how it holds us back. As I read this book, I was weighing the idea of trying my hand at entrepreneurship and was terrified. Warrell's book reminded me that if I don't take chances, I (and the world around me) will miss out on what I could have achieved and contributed. I'm a big fan of personal development books that challenge you to take risks and bet on yourself, but I'm not a fan of the Brene Brown works that are so often touted. Nothing against Brown, it's just not a style of writing that appeals to me. That said, I was surprised by how approachable Warrell was in her writing. This book not only gave me a shot of confidence when it was needed, but it also motivated me to start a daily journaling practice. I'm not exaggerating to say that this was a profound book for me and one that has shifted my mindset and my habits.

There's nothing new here (there really aren't many new ideas out there), but it's presented very well and with humility. There are stories, advice, and exercises, and most of them will serve readers well. Good stuff, and likely to resonate with many readers.

I really appreciate the ARC for review!!

I must admit I am only halfway through the book... But I just know this is going to be one of those books I go back through often! My pages are already rainbows with highlights and I have a pep in my step because of what I have read. I've had some big dreams for a long time, but have been trudging through indecision and doubt.

I love her perspective and approach, especially her ability to find humor in her shortcomings. One of my favorite quotes of many is from the chapter "Embrace your fallibility; Get off your back and forgive your failings"; "if you have been soaking in a guilt bath, it's time to get out of it and wrap yourself in a towel of mercy." (I loved it so much I even painted it! https://www.instagram.com/p/CDTGq04Hs...). I find it easy (most the time) to have mercy and forgiveness for others... but have recognized I am really hard on myself... and that's just plain unproductive!

Can't wait to dig in to the next half of the book to unearth it's other treasures! Thanks Margie for such pragmatic and uplifting tools to pursue my passions with confidence!

I found myself repeating the title of this book over and over when I would face stressful situations or uncertainty. You've Got This! by Margie Warrell is a guide on how to build self-trust and conquer self-doubt. The book offers practical and easy-to-implement strategies to stop negative self-talk and start trusting ourselves, even in times of struggles and failures.
