"I'm not good at crawling before some arrogant gringo!" Juanita Mestas snapped.
"Quit buttering me up," Dan Keen said sarcastically, "and tell me what's on your mind."
"They'll hang my innocent brother! He has only three days to live unless you help me!" The ex-U. S. deputy marshal knew it was foolhardy to spring Pepe Mestas from jail. Yet he did it for Juanita. He even challenged notorious Rico Lucinda and the undefeated gunman, Colin Wyatt, for her sake. But Juanita was not impressed. Would she never see Dan as anything more than a hateful, contemptible gringo?

The back and forth romance was awesome!

I loved this book, it's not often you get a good western and a fun romance too! Great storyline like all the other books I've read by this author!

Terrell Bowers has a fast reading story. A US Marshall doing his job in the real world, while the judge feels otherwise. Albeit a good vs evil story that the law finally wins out. Our Marshall runs the gamete, shining through when the tough got going. You will enjoy this "Old Gringo" tge characters are likeable, everyday people, that share in the days realization that sooner or later you will return what you have stolen.
