While you may expect a ridiculous and light-hearted xianxia novel after reading the synopsis, the actual novel is written quite well and seriously.
It wasn't as far-fetched and ridiculous as I expected. However, I would say the MC and ML aura was still quite prevalent. MC and ML seem to overcome many obstacles/ plots due to the protagonist aura. There doesn't seem to be much struggles as MC/ ZSZJ is quite OP.
Nevertheless, it was still an enjoyable and interesting read. Especially when I was trying to figure out the mystery while reading the story. The beginning was pretty hilarious and ridiculous but it eventually gets more serious and down-to-earth as the plot unwind.
I would say it's a pretty good read, worth trying it out. Minimal smut/ intimate scenes. pretty good translation.

I like silly and fun, and this is silly and fun! I also love smart characters so there you have it. Good, would recommend to people who like the plot!
