4 Star review of Merged (Burning Souls #3) by M.J.Fields
This books picks up where Forged ends so if you haven't read the first two books then, STOP; these books must be read in order.
Merged will draw you in and have you hooked from the first chapter. Both Maddox and Harper have been through so much and my heart broke for them at times. There were so many twists and turns throughout this trilogy and it was satisfying to get the conclusion to their love story.
A roller coaster of a read and that pulled my emotions in a number of directions. This was a raw, gritty story that tied everything up neatly for Maddox and Harper.

I read Merged in 2 days but it's taken me a bit to get my head rite, my heart to steady & my hands to stop shaking to get my review out... yes its that epic! The end of Maddox (my book man) & Harpers story is no less then spectacular! Mj gave us the perfection of the first write & more then i could've hoped for the 2nd. Being Maddox's true love (me lol) i was given exactly what i needed & that was his feelings in his own words. I cried like a baby, i laughed like a fool & truly now understand what all four chambers being full of love means. Unconditional love in it's truest form is exactly what this is!

Merged Maddox Hines Conclusion in the Burning Souls series and as always a 5 Star ⭐️ series!
Maddox Hines and Harper Abraham have been in love since they first met. This is a wonderful dual point of view and second chance romance, with steamy love scenes.
A powerful intense emotional and beautiful book, have tissues ready because it’s a tearjerker! I just love ❤️ Maddox and Harper, they have been through so much and yet their powerful love merged them together forever! MJ Fields is my Favorite contemporary romance author! I always look forward to reading her books ❤️

EPICALLY STUNNING!!
What an absolutely sensual, heart-gripping and beautiful conclusion to Maddox and Harper’s story. From the beginning to the end this book tugged my heartstrings, melted my heart and then pieced it back together.
Maddox and Harper are highly intense, engaging and passionate characters with a storyline that is deeply emotional, entertaining and alluring.

The third installment I. This beautifully epic romance. A romance filled with danger, loos and love. A romance that brought us Maddox Hines and his Harper. I can not tell you how this romance has affected me. I have recounted their tale to my friends over and over again begging them to read this beautiful story of a boy who suffered unimaginable things to come out into the light stringer not only for himself but for his family and his soul mate, Harper.
The 3 books take you through some frightening events only to bring you the most amazing HEA imaginable. I whole heartedly recommend the story of not just Maddox Hines but if his father, Brody Hines. To get the full measure of this amazing romance and growth of a boy who was rescued at the age of 15, to the man he grew to be.

A wonderful end to an emotional journey!
This was a great conclusion to Maddox and Harper’s story. It also did an excellent job of setting up for future stories within this same world.
Watching Maddox learn that he is not defined by his past and is worthy of being loved was beautiful! Adding in the push and pull of he and Harper’s relationship to create a painful but breathtakingly delightful storyline. Watching Harper find her strength in the face of so many different types of heartache/loss was also very inspirational!
The only thing that I would have changed was the over abundance of repetitive internal monologues. It really slowed the pacing of the story in a negative way.
I look forward to seeing what future journey these wonderful characters get to take!

The last of Maddox and Harper’s books (though we will see them in other books). Picks up right after Forged. They are still dealing with their losses in Forged when they have another. Harper still reacts very immaturely at times (definitely got that from her mom!). They are making decisions to build their lives together. They have wonderful thing happen, surprises that help them heal a bit. They move along and grow together. Someone in their circle ends up having their dirty laundry/heartbreak aired in public that changes some dynamics. I like that they conclude without any huge dramas. They have some rough patches, but mostly caused by external sources.

You could not have asked for a better ending to a trilogy that this one. Merged is the final book in the series based around Maddox and Harper and it did not disappoint. After all the tragedies and losses these two have had to fight their way through, this book leads us through their final emotional journey on reaching their long awaited and much anticipated HEA. I laughed, cried and felt every emotion along with them.
All the scenes with the extended family warmed my heart, I definitely saw the growth in both Harper and Maddox and you could see thier love for one another come shining through. This has been an exceptional series and I am so glad we got to experience this re-written and extended version, it was everything.

what a perfect ending to this series!!!! I ABSOLUTELY love all three series. you can read the Burning Souls series alone but I would HIGHLY recommend the Love series then the Wrapped series to fully enjoy all of the characters!! MJ Fields has done a fantastic job of making me fall in love with all of them. These are stories that will forever be with me. Harper and Maddox story has been a roller coaster, with so much more than just the typical love story. I am so glad I took that roller coaster ride with them!!!! Great book!!!!

A Burning Souls trilogy follows Maddox Hines and Harper Abraham as their love grows, falls apart and strengthens through maelstroms of rifts and death alike.
The conclusion of their journey has them realizing that they cannot change the past, but they can learn from it and look forward to a future filled with their dreams and love.
While all three mention faith and God, their conclusion leans a bit more on it as Maddox starts understanding Harper's faith and begins to cherish it as well as the other half of each other's souls.
Needless to say, I teared up quite a lot during his analogical moments of enlightenment he used when referring to their unborn son. Oh, and Collin's letters? 😭😭😭 Moving book from beginning to end.
Next up? Plans for Kendall, Phoebe and Jade to each get their own standalone are mentioned, plus author played down some major hints for London's future and continued to tease with Ava's.

I am absolutely smitten with Maddox and Harper. They have an epic love story and MJ has rewritten it so it's an outstanding story it was amazing book before but now with the different points of view it's great 👍.

Really good this series but too many grammatical and spelling errors in book 3 Merged. This book needs to be re-edited.
Why does author write, shook her head for yes, when in the western world, we nod yes and shake side to side for no?
I did not however and regardless of the errors give less stars because the series as with all MJ's books is brilliant.
Hopefully more will come from this series.
I'm sure Tessa and Lukas are eventually meant to get back together.
Then there's Ava and T their story.
London and Logan hopefully there's a a future book for them?

After reading all three I'm finally able to say, Maddox is top three worst MMC I've ever read. I've read 5000+ romances.
He's just awful to her. Mocks her when she's down, subtly takes away a lot of her autonomy.
How is it every character that's gone through major trauma - kidnapped for first 15 years of his life; kidnapped and beat until her unborn fetus dies and watches her father get killed in front of her; her brothers watching Maddox kill two.
And not even a single therapy session.
MJ is a hit or miss author. And this, this is just letting us know women mean nothing; it's ok if a man cheats, gets a blowy, or whatever. It's ok if a man tells you he's happy your upset you could be pregnant AFTER major discussions about her future.
I am just so upset over Maddox. She was just a little puppy and now a doormat.
Screw cruella, Maddox skinned this puppy to make a doormat.

Maddox had decided he would quit his band, Burning Souls, and spend his time with Harper and maybe go to college. Harper encouraged him to continue to do a few shows with his band and had planned to go with him until a surprise visit happened from Colin’s father that no one knew existed and he was ill so Harper wanted to stay to spend time with him. A lot of the first few chapters were a recap thru Maddox’s thoughts which I didn’t see the point of since I just read 2 previous books so I skimmed through all of that. This book just wasn’t as good as the others. It was more mushy love nothing with much backbone to add to the story. The family stayed together most of the time, not much excitement happening, rather boring and it took me nearly 2 weeks to get through it because it just didn’t hold my attention.

The final instalment in the raw and gritty world that Maddox and Harper live in and M.J. Fields certainly left the best for last because this was the book we have all been waiting for, the book that gives us closure on the romance that has had so many twists and turns, so many ups and downs.
Please do not pick this book up if you haven’t read the previous ones because this is a series that needs to be read in order. The characters are interesting and they will draw you into their world and before you know it you will be hooked on Maddox and Harper’s steamy journey. Wonderful ending to a wonderful story.

What an amazing ending to a phenomenal and at times heartbreaking love story. MJ Fields has outdone herself with Maddox and Harper. The journey life has taken them and thy have come out stronger than ever. Was it easy, no way. Did your heart break for them, definitely. But they have finally gotten their happily ever after. The tears you will cry for them. Both happy and sad. Bit so worth every one shed. Maddox is Harper’s one, and she is his one.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Merged . I must say absolutely amazing ! I loved reading this story . Maddox and Harper are Sensational together . This story is hot , steamy , humourous and just wonderful . I hated for it to end . The characters are unique and interesting . I could not put it down . I highly recommend taking the time to read this story and the entire series .

This is a dark book. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book because it might contain triggers for some readers.
Maddox and Harper have one heck of a story to tell. I think I left my heart in that book when I closed it. These two have been in love since their first meeting. If you have read Forged we left off with major losses being dealt with and that is still happening in the beginning of this book. I just wanted to shake Harper sometimes. She is super immature at times and while that is a bi-product of her mom I wanted her to react differently and grow up just a little bit at least. The time has come for them to be deciding about building a life together. There are some surprises along the way and growth between the two of them and healing. However they have a betrayal coming and I was so mad for them. I mean come on!!! You should be able to trust things with the people you are closest to. But no, that didn't happen and I was livid for Maddox and Harper. I know that I am rambling and this is probably not going to make any sense to you until you read this book. I loved it. It was emotional. Gave me the biggest book hangover and I couldn't put it down.

The final part of Maddox and Harper's story was emotional. Without giving too much away, for as uplifting their highs are their lows hit rock bottom. I couldn't pinpoint one specific event that brought me joy or sorrow because there were just so many. I have to admit I teared up at several events through their story. MJ outdid herself.
I'm looking forward to see who she writes about next. Hoping she goes back to the Ross's stories.

I am so sorry to see this series end! I was happy to see Maddox and Harper get their HEA. The end of their story was one HOT read with many great moments. I had a hard time putting this book down and would recommend this book to others.

Merge starts where Forged left off. The Abraham family have to find a new normal. A normal without Collin. There are sad parts to this story but also many happy parts. The Hines family decide to lay roots in Blue Valley. We see Maddox help Harper cope with the death of her father and their unborn baby. Collin still has letters that go to Tessa and to Harper. We see Harper and Maddox become one. They also have some exciting news to share. This is the perfect book to end the Burning Souls series.

The journey continues for Maddox Hines and Harper Abraham they both have faced so much loss but they continue to put one foot in front of the other and move forward to the future they deserve.
It was great watching their families pop in and out through this book, and as usual mj has given us all the feels, at times you'll cry, laugh out loud and just smile at the emotions that are packed inside this last installment of Maddox and Harper but it won't be the last we here of them that's for sure.
