Jordan L. Hawk is a trans author from North Carolina. Childhood tales of mountain ghosts and mysterious creatures gave him a life-long love of things that go bump in the night. When he isn’t writing, he brews his own beer and tries to keep the cats from destroying the house. His best-selling Whyborne & Griffin series (beginning with Widdershins) can be found in print, ebook, and audiobook.
Told from Griffin's POV (Yay!) this short snippet gives a little glimpse into Griffin and Whyborne's first Christmas together after they moved in! Oh my! Blushing Whyborne and teasing Griffin, what's not to love! For such a short story it was so very sweet and rather steamy which this girl looooooved, thank you very much! Another treat from Jordan for this Christmas!
From the perspective of Griffin. Insight on how broken Griffin was after the asylum but how now everything has changed. Changed for the better. Griffin and Whyborne sharing a home. The next step in their relationship.
This is cute, just a short, sweet and sexy moment in the lives of Griffin and Whyborne.
Really liked the insight on both their families and how Griffin's own experience with his fed forward. This story is mostly a little christmas sex scene but it still has a bit of character meat to it.
This was a really short story (5 pages) but it was so tender and so sweet! And what’s really exciting is that there are so many more books in the series for me to read!! I love these two a lot.
Una manciata di pagine che però arricchiscono questa saga bellissima. L'ultimo Natale di Griffin a Fallow e il primo Natale con Ival. Malinconico, dolce, hot.
Not entirely sure how I missed this. It's basically Whyborne & Griffin smut, but definitely has the romance and intimacy that I love with these two. It takes place right after Widdershins, so the romance is brand new and they're still trying to believe the other could actually love him. So they're absolutely adorable and very sexy. I like how the author contrasted Griffin's Christmas before with this Christmas together.
A short little story set just after the novel Widdershins, which I read recently and enjoyed. Because it is so short - only five pages or so - there's not a great deal going on. It's still a likeable read, however, being one of those warm-hearted holiday stories where the protagonists cuddle up and are grateful for what they have, which in this case is each other.
Griffin's memories of Christmases past, from his time as a Kansas farm boy, to a Pinkerton agent in Chicago, and his best and final home with Wyborne in Widdershins.
This short story gives a view into Griffin's headspace in the wake of the first Widdershins. As I re-read the series, I kind of miss Griffin's perspective from the early books so this was a very enjoyable addition.
Heather's Notes I almost always enjoy short stories in series that I read. I love seeing a different side of the characters. A side not so fraught with danger. This was a cute story that I liked.
HOME was a very sweet and steamy short and I really enjoyed getting Griffin's POV since WIDDERSHINS was told completely from Whyborne's POV. After everything these two went through it's great to see them finding peace and love with each other.
Sweet and cute. I like that we're filling in some backstory with these early short stories. I also like that we finally get to see why Griffin likes Whyborne so much and how Whyborne helps him - instead of in the books being mostly from Whyborne's point of view.
