Bubba and the Curse of the Boogity-Boo
It’s two weeks until Bubba’s wife, Willodean, is due to have their baby, the moon may or may not be full, his mother, Miz Demetrice, is up to her old tricks, some movie people are in town making a film about an old and eerie legend of the Boogity-Boo, and Bubba can’t find the right kind of ice cream for his pernickety significant other. Bubba is plain ol’ worried sick about Willodean and the impending birth. It’s so much so that when the film director asks for help with a little mystery, Willodean makes Bubba go to get his mind off his fears. At the secluded and creepy film set on Foggy Mountain, there’s a furtive Bigfoot-like creature meandering about and scaring the crew off, so what’s a good ol’ boy to do? Why, he’s there to kick some tushie all the way to Tuscaloosa and chew bubblegum, and he’s fresh out of bubblegum.Book Nine of the Bubba Mystery series.

When I want to snicker and enjoy a good mystery, the Bubba Snoddy series rarely disappoints. The only downer is that one should have read the other mysteries in the series before tackling this one -- a common trait of cozy mysteries. This adventure had many returning characters, but usually there was enough of a reminder about who was who that I didn't get lost. What I did was laugh and snicker my way through this book and want another one. I guess I'll need to be patient since at this point (February 2020) this is the latest in the series.
The series is highly recommended for readers who like to laugh and enjoy mysteries. I guarantee that any Southerner has met the characters in this book in one form or another.

Boogity Boo's film crew spaceship ice cream keep Bubba's mind off his pregnant wife
This one for everything but a dead body, Bigfoot Boo's David and lunies building spaceship movie , old scary house on the mountain , shortage of ice cream in the county, tunnels boobie traps, Brownie, Precious the Bassett hound , Bubbas mom is planning something, Willomena on bed rest and having pregnancy cravings . But John in it, the not to bright triples that are not really triples but they did kidnap Brown held him in junk yard are in This one. Great story with mystery , plot twist turns

What can I say..
I didn't noticed anything in the editing that distracted me enough to make it difficult to read. I've liked along the Bubba books. A couple weren't quite as good as the rest. However, this one is close to a favorite.
The characters stay with & you are well rounded. The descriptions make you feel as If you know these people. I was glad to see the return of Brownie. I hope there's another story centered around him. If course, I was a tad frustrated not finding out the gender. I'm guessing that will be discovered at another time..
I'd like to know more about the history of the "loonies" as they're called , in good nature.

There are Boos everywhere!
So many Boogity-Boos and not a dead body to be found! Bubba sure does have a mystery to solve, a baby on the way (is it a boy or a girl; the world may never know), the looneys building a rocket, and a surprise baby shower to attend. This has more action than trying to solve a murder! Love me some Bubba! Bring on the next book, I can hardly wait! This is an awesome series and I hope it never ends!!

Boo takes the cake!
I love the Bubba books! Bubba and the loonies have the Boo a run for the money but Brownie saved the day. I love this child's mischievousness. It was great form the newest Shoddy to arrive and I loved the crazy FBI lady going to the institute for observation.

Oh my!!! I can’t believe how it ended!!! But I really should’ve known...hahaha!!! Love this series!!! I cannot wait until the next Bubba book comes out. All my favorite characters are back ...wish Brownie and Jaine could’ve caused a little more chaos....but that’s ok. Glad they’re together again. Biting my nails waiting for the next one!!! Happy Reading :)

Always hilarious and fun
C.L. Never disappoints. I love all of the characters in her Bubba books. Creativity abounds and keeps you turning pages (flipping screens in my case). A little suspense at the end that makes you want more of the same. You should read all of them. (In order would work best). Thanks C.L.

Boo, Boo, Boogity-Boo!
Good ole Bubba. Nothing is ever easy, is it? A lot of fun surprises and interesting happenings. I'm waiting to see what is gonna happen now the baby is born!!

Bubba Snoddy, his glorious bride Willodean, gallons and gallons of ice cream, a dark and stormy night and a Fifth Element quote hidden in there.
Best Bubba book ever. My giggling woke my husband up two nights running.
