A woman scorned ain't nothing to play with!! Reesie definitely didn't deserve all the things Mario and her sister did, but her payback was on a whole nother level of crazy.
Now Mario should have just left Reesie alone! When “the one that got away” seeks revenge, you will definitely feel their wrath! The question is, does Mario get what he deserved or will Reesie take it way too far? Join this woman scorned as she plots and takes the phrase “revenge is best served cold” to a level that leave your mind in disarray!
Reesie was seriously out to pay Mario back for his horrible treatment of her in the past. I'm not saying what she did was right, but I do understand. I must admit her plan was thorough. Page turning storyline had me wondering how this fiasco would end. Good characters, situations and content
I have read other works by this author that I really enjoyed. This book took a minute to capture my interest. I just wanted to know how she was going to get this wrapped up with all the characters. Love has many guests and turns but this one love story was a one way trip to Revengeville. #EyeCUApproved
Reesie was definition of “ I am going to get my lick back and more”. Reesie was not playing around with Mario because she went on that revenge plan so long I forgot she was pretending to love him. The part of the book with Trinity made me alittle confused and the reason why her sister hated her had me questioning her reasoning because she was upset over something really small…. Just my opinion..Overall solid read.
First off, the book needs editing really bad. No open quotation marks when someone is speaking made it hard to know it wasn’t the narrator but a character talking. And a lot of other typos and grammatical errors as well. I understand it was fiction, but it wasn’t realistic. It felt forced. Like things were thrown in for a “wow factor” and an element of surprise. The story never circled back to the introduction. Who found the bodies? How? The book itself didn’t drag on; the timeline of events in the story did, which made no sense. Why did it take so long to do what she planned to do? That needs to be explained further in my opinion. Also, at what point did she decide she was going to get even? Before he came back in her life? At the hotel? I give it 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3.
Reesha was truly a woman scorned. She should have let go her hurt and leave Mario where he was. I felt bad for Mario because he was very remorseful for how he treated Reesha in the past. Her sister was wrong for doing her like that but I understand why she hated Reesha. Their father Darius was the cause of it all. Reesha sister did to her what her mother did to Reesha's mother. Zeke was foul for what he did to Mario.
OMG what a ride this was. Talk about the ultimate payback. This heavy you treat people the way you want others to treat you. You just never know what is in store for you. Mario thought his biggest mistake was losing the woman he loved only to to be stuck with a woman his hated. Mario did so much dirt to Reesie. He disrespected her the whole time they were together. Ended up marrying her sister who he cheated with. Reesie sister who was just messy for no reason at all. The hurt she caused Reesie which was intentional and harsh. This turned out to be a good and twisted tale that keeps you on the edge of you seat. The plot twists are off the chain so hold on.
This book truly exaggerates the saying that a woman scorned is a dangerous one. I truly enjoyed the story and was intrigued by the twist in turns, although some were extremely unrealistic. I thought the author wrote an entertaining work of fiction that could also be used as a true teaching moment for any man who is cheating or thinking about cheating in their relationship. Although I rooted for Reesie to get revenge throughout the story, it was hard reading her actually do it. I think the best revenge she could have given her sister and Mario was living without her and with that she could have also held on to her own sanity. I look forward to more from this author.
Listen this story was a boxing match. It started out swinging and never let up lol. How in the world does your baby sister and your man of 7 years end up sleeping together? Oh did that make you gasp......wait there's more....your baby sister is pregnant by your man of 7 years and they are getting married...... *close the book and prepare to fight *... Listen what if I told you that is just the tip of the ice berg... yup there is in fact MORE. Octavia makes sure to pull out all the nonsense in these books. You have to read it. Im telling you I called my mother and had to tell her what I was reading cause it was crazy but not unbelievable. Join the Octavia Universe lol
Another novel by Octavia Grant filled with twists, turns, deciption, and nasty sex! Lol I'm reminded of the Jay Z lyrics "once a good girl's gone bad, she gone forever." And Chile, Mrs. Reesha was off the deep end. This story moves fast so you can't understand slow. Gotta stay with the pace. It needs a few editing corrections, but you'll be entralled in the story so heavily that you'll overlook them.
This book was interesting to say the least. The author kept me intrigued with the crazy characters. There were a few typos but, the book was an easy read. I was pissed at the audacity of the main character blame his fiance for their problems. When in all honesty he should've taken the brunt of it. I would recommend this read.
The jealousy, envy, and betrayal. The history repeating itself was the the shocker for me. You never real know the mental health side of things and why people do what they do .loved it
Wow is all I can say about this book I mean it is off the hook talk about your psychotic ,narcissist ,egotistic, menacing, just playing crazy people this book got it all, The women's is the worst. Revenge can be sweet but they just took it overboard 🙄🙄
This here was some beautiful karma. I can't say that she was wrong. And she got the kids. Now if she get caught wit the bs story she told the detective then that's something else. But I definitely like the way she did it.
I enjoyed the reading of this book but I can say some parts made me hold on to my pants. I enjoyed the characters but that sister Valentina had me in stitches. When you get the book, be prepared for a helluva ride.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned is so true. Some parts was drastic and unrealistic but that’s fiction for you. It also felt dragged out. I feel like the story wasn’t really completed because the introduction wasn’t finished. It wasn’t a bad read just exaggerated.
That man, Mario, should've left Ressie alone 🤣 and her sister should've just did therapy early, but whew, you can't play with people emotions and just expect things to go nice and smooth like foh Karma exists and this dish here was served!
This book was full of sooo many secrets and lies...When a woman is Scorned & got her heart broken soooo many times it does something too her mind...this was a good read...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I agree with how this author handle the entire situation. Stop doing people wrong, but when it's your turn you're begging for mercy? Tuh! Nawl! Payback has no rules!
