The saying is true.
Actions do speak louder than words.
Louder than love.
Louder than hate.
I feel nothing almost on a daily basis, and yet in his arms, I do.
I'm not sure what it is that he makes me feel and I know that it's a sensation I never want to let go of, but things are different now.

Oh Ezra, you crazy little psycho. This was a steamy introduction to the man we’ll get more of in the yet-to-be published NINE COFFINS.
Yolanda has a way of painting the deeply depraved in an innocent light, you come to love them before you realize their true natures. I guess that’s what everyone says about real serial killers huh...so this is a true credit to her writing genius.

The best part about Ms. Olson’s books is that when I open a new one, I never know what to expect. With “Deprivation,” it all started rather innocently - a forbidden relationship, the protagonist’s musings, and then… bam, the ending explodes right in your face! When I just started reading, I wondered where exactly Ezra and Ethan would end up, relationship-wise. This was certainly not what I had imagined in my wildest dreams! No spoilers, but if you love dark, twisted fiction, definitely pick it up - you’ll thank me later!

Soooooo, yes, I finished another Yolanda book. I am loving this journey, and thank you, J, for recommending it. Although on the tamer side of Yolanda's books, I think this would be a great introduction for those wanting to dip their toes into the pool of taboo/horror erotica.
This is an MM story, and I have to say, Ezra is the prettiest boy ever. (He is of age but refers to himself as a boy, okay? Deal with it.) The story follows... hehe, you thought I would ruin it for you. Nah, go read the book if you've made it this far into my review.
Just take note: once you start, you can't stop.
Anyway, off I go to lose myself in another story, another life, and another world.

This was a short, steamy, and twisted MM romance. It starts with an illicit affair between a man and his best friends father. This has been going on for quite some time. But the hiding and sneaking around keeps up the appeal and thrill of each other.
The TWIST was out of left field, not expected, not even a hint of what was about to happen! I loved it.
Yolanda has such talent at smacking readers with unexpected twists!

Deprivation was a sexy quickie that took me by surprise!!! DEFINITELY not what I was expecting. I felt so bad for Ethan, but I'm so excited to get more of Ezra. He intrigues me so much that I want to know more of his story.

Captivating from start to finish.

* Finding solace in each other when you’re both off limits
* I could see the descriptions so vividly. Crimson is now a new favorite color.

Well shit...that was NOT what I was expecting!

Ezra is such a naughty little thing. I loved his story. When you think it will be one thing it turns out to be another. This is a short story that is taboo, horrific and spicy. I am not a huge MM trope reader, but I enjoy them when I read them, and I definitely love a horror taboo read.

Poor Ethan... The attraction between him and Ezra was definitely fatal. I loved it. If you read anything by this author, you should know there won't be hearts and flowers. There might be some blood... Definitely some good times. Ezra's mind is so damn creepy but I can't help but love every creepy as part. I want more of his twisted mind. I loved the crazy games he played. And I'm wondering who will be it. Damn... I need Nine Coffins like now.
