He swore he’d marry the girl in the photo at the diner, not knowing that girl was standing right behind him. Or that I swore to mount his tight ass the moment I laid eyes on him. Which I waste no time in making happen.
Just when I’m thinking this could be the beginning of something real, I’m accepted into my dream baking program at the top school in Paris. But the long distance thing doesn’t scare him off. On the contrary, he promises to fly out to meet me for a romantic week in the city of love.
But just before I get the chance to twine myself around his rock hard body again, I get caught in the riots engulfing the city. One second I’m wondering how these violent protests are going to affect our upcoming romantic rendezvous, and the next something is hitting me in the head and all I can see is black.
The last thought to pass through my mind is a question: How is Lucas going to rescue me when he’s on the other side of the world?
Spoiler Alert! Pastries rise and hearts swell in this sweet, sexy novella that will leave you falling over yourself when the heat turns up.
Each Sweet, Sexy Short features a different couple, so FALLING FOR JOY can be read on its own.
Kaylee Spring writes what she loves: steamy romance that ends happily every after, but not before exploring unexpected paths and lusty embraces. She lives and writes in the South with her husband, two cats, and a growing collection of books.
Lucas and Joy's story is sweet. Then their story turns sad for a bit before returning to sweet and adding some heat. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A charming short story. What a delightful idea for a story! The characters are really likable and all the scenes were very well described in detail. The storyline is a nice, clean romance between two young people who experience love-at-first-sight. They both know what the loss of a parent means and they find a soul-mate in each other. They overcome quite a bit of drama to be together. I enjoyed this book which was easy to read and quite quick. The idea would have been good enough to form the basis of a longer, more substantial work, As it is, it remains a charming short novella with a HEA. I'd gladly recommend reading it.

When Lucas sees Joy’s photograph in the diner he’s just eaten in, he simply states “I’m going to marry that girl.” Her father, who is behind the counter is amused by the statement but when Joy walks through the door, it only reiterates Lucas’s determination. A chance meeting brings them together again and then they make an agreement that ends up with a few flaws in it along the way, but both Lucas and Joy are of the same mindset. This is a really sweet and romantic tale that gets steamier towards the end. A quick and enjoyable read.

Love, love, loved it! Joy and Lucas are completely surprised by each other, by their unexpected feelings, by the quickness of their relationship. But from the first, you see how well they fit, how much they need one another. When Joy disappears, Lucas is the only one who does not give up - life without her is unthinkable. So unexpectedly sweet, but a bit spicey too!

Falling For Joy is the first book in the Sweet, Sexy Shorts series by Kaylee Spring. This is a cute insta-love story between Lucas and Joy. Both characters are very lovable and fit well together. The story was fast and fun but it also felt like it needed to be narrowed down a bit, but that might just be my take. I did enjoy it though and you just have to love the cover.
Falling for Joy is a short, intense love story. You get an array of emotions from reading this story of two fated lovers. There connection, attraction and chemistry from the start shows just how meant to be they are. Would definitely recommend this book.

The cover of this book is what caught my eye—that adorable, stylish, radiant girl with so much joie de vivre. So imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a pretty intense story. I'm okay with intense, it just wasn't what I expected is all. I wasn't even sure if there would be a happy ending, but there was thank goodness.
Lucas and Joy find love and promise to meet next in Paris. Joy arrives there first and meets with trouble and she drops out of contact. Lucas follows her there and searches relentlessly for weeks and weeks until he finds her and they have their happily ever after. A simple yet angsty story that makes you feel the deep yearning between these two fated lovers.
This is a quick and satisfying read with a full range of subdued emotions that romance readers will enjoy. And if nothing else, that pin up girl on the cover should make you smile. Would I read this author's work again? Yes, in a heartbeat.
This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and found it an ok read. This book is the first book of Kaylee Spring’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline easy to read. Whilst at a diner, Lukas sees a picture of a girl. He swears he is going to marry the girl in the picture and soon realises she is stood behind him. Joy and Lukas spark up a bit of a romance and make plans but will Joy and Lukas get their chance? I did see some chemistry between Joy and Lukas but I would have liked a little more. Lukas seemed way more into Joy than she did him. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an easy read.
