The past haunts him. The present shames him… and the future awaits with fractal fire. If you’ve ever looked into the mirror to see your head explode, you can relate to Avery Mann’s daily struggles.
It’s the young Mann’s eighteenth birthday, and already shaping up to be the third worst day of his existence. It will take a miracle to turn Avery’s life around; and providence thrusts him forward into the past with the help of the unlikeliest of influences…
…a beautiful girl, full of grace; …a gifted boy, crippled with cerebral palsy; …a Jewish aunt with hugs and delicious borscht; …a holocaust survivor with an opinion on everything; …a smarmy angel with a famous voice; …and a faith-healer with a sinister agenda.
Welcome to a contemporary, somewhat dystopian, and occasionally emotional apocalypse.
Yet, what looks to be the end, is only the beginning…. Will Avery Mann survive?
