Wow and Wow. I don't even know where to begin.
Mia a young woman striving to make it in Hollywood, was left behind at a filming that was 4 hours away from Los Angels She finds Zander hurt and missing clothes and helps him. Zander has his secrets, not only why he ended up where he did, but also the behind the scene of Hollywood and tries to persuade Mia it's not for her.
Over the weekend, Mia trusting her instincts protects Zander, even though he tells her nothing of his past. Back home, Zander identity comes out but is the story all smoke and mirrors? Again not knowing all the fact Mia still protects Zander, believing in him.
This story kept me on the edge of my seat. The Lie that were covered up, and the truth that was reviled left me spinning.

Zander and Mia have one wild weekend and more

I liked it so I bought it to add to my personal library.
I have enjoyed the books for the One Wild Weekend With series which I have read and One Wild Weekend with Zander did not disappoint. This is the fifth book in the series in which Zander and Mia are wonderful characters with a great story-line.

One wild weekend series
So far I have read the following of the series: Carter, Connor, Sawyer and Zander. I have enjoyed them tremendously. I'm continuing to read the rest of the series hope they are just as enjoyable.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Mia moved to Hollywood with hope of making it big, she has set herself a limit of six months to get where she wants to be and that is how she finds herself stranded in the woods after the crew of the movie she was had a part in and had just finished left her behind. With darkness drawing in she knows she needs to find somewhere safe for the night. She finds a cabin where she decides to bed down for the night, it’s not long before she isn’t alone when a naked man emerges from the lake naked and hurt. There is an immediate attraction between the two and Mia is feelings for this man are stronger that she ever would have expected so when people come looking for him she protects him. But she can tell that Zander is keeping secrets, so when she learns the truth about the man she has fallen for over a weekend can she forgive him or will she return home with her shattered heart?
Zander hates all that Hollywood stands for and is trying to escape his father Jacob’s control so hatches a plan to expose him for what he really is and is working with the FBI, so when he meets Mia she steals his heart with her innocent way of looking at the world but the life that she is trying to live will only destroy her and when she finds out the truth will she be able to forgive him and give him a second chance?
This was a thrilling read and I can honestly say that each wild weekend book are fantastic reads and this author is a one click for me. I highly recommend each book and they can all be read as standalones. 5 awesome star read.

First Mia gets left behind by the producer Mark, who is a jerk and drug user or seller. She than finds Xander nude swimming in the lake. There is a cabin by the lake which is owned by Jerry, who is Mark's stepfather who is not happy that Mark left her there for the weekend. She covered for Xander when Jerry was there and wanted to take inventory on the cabin with the window broken. Xander & Mia hit it off and had a wild weekend until he left and she didn't think that she would see him again. But her roommate is going to a party at Xander's house with Raven from Hollywood. Mia decides to go but Xander tells her she has to leave when the reporters and Chrissy leave before the other party starts. Mia does leave but Sally and Raven are not happy about her leaving before the "real" party starts with Jacob, who is Xander's father. The Hollywood scene is not for Mia and she realizes that and plans to leave. Mia gets a call from Toby who she worked with at the restaurant and tells her something big is going on at the Hotel with Xander & Jacob she might want to check out. Mia gets off the bus and goes to the hotel which the event takes a different turn than what Jacob thought was going to happen and also Mia. You have to read to the end to find out what happens with Mia & Xander. This was a great story and I'm sure that some of this really does go on in Hollywood and is not for everyone. Not in a good way. Glad to see Xander makes a different choice for himself. Great characters and story line. This series has been really great to read.

Excellent and unexpected from the first page to the last
Excellent story very well written with excellent characters and an excellent story full of twists on the world of Hollywood.
The characters are very well built exciting. From the beginning, I loved the character of Mia, the male character of Zander, remains a mystery most of the story, whether it is his personality, what happened to him the hours before he met Mia, his life, his activities . And even when part of the veil is lifted, he's still mysterious.
Mia is a young actress in Hollywood, for a zombie movie. By the time she removes her makeup, she is forgotten by the lake, far from Los Angelès. It is there that she meets Zander, wounded and naked, who comes out of the lake. They take refuge in the house of the stepfather of the film producer and slowly seduce themselves. But the mystery that hangs over Zander and that he maintains separates them and it is back in Hollywood that the life of one and the other becomes even more complex

The book was a multi momentum with the story line. Mia wants to be an actor. As the crew is wrapping up to leave a production site, she runs off to quickly clean off the make up and change your clothes. While she is away from the location, she returns to find that she is left behind. They are at a vacation home that was for temporary use and she had no transportation to return home. Phone of course when you need it does not have any juice left to make a call for more than a few minutes. There is a unclothed man who washed on the lake shore behind the house. White the upcoming storm, there are no choice but stay in the vacation home. This man name Zander is hiding and not giving info so Mia can help. He has secrets. He is not trusting but doesn’t have a choice when offered. Can Mia see through all the exaggerated smoke and mirrors her created to find him? No cliffhanger

A GOOD ROMANTIC THRILLER
Mia wants to be an actress. She gets a small part in a zombie movie and is left behind accidentally at the cabin in the woods. Zander washes naked onto the shore and injured. She cares for him but hes not giving anything away. He is surprised that she is caring for him and not lying. They have a hot weekend and then he disappears and shes back to the real world. Shes invited to the wrong kind of party and Zander is there with a girlfriend, she thinks. Zander tells her to get away before its too late and she does. Shes sees him at a press conference he dies. Shes so distraught she goes to the airport to go home. The FBI stop her question her and take her to a secluded place. If you want to find out what happens you have to read this romantic thriller and no disappointments here. Happy Reading.

Rating 3.5 stars. This was my first of the "weekend" series and I'll probably read more of them. Mia meets Zander after being left behind finishing up a movie shoot. She was trying to find someplace to wait for creepy Mark to come back and pick her up. Zander just happened to be coming out of the lake, naked. They end up spending the weekend together, she covers for him, knowing he's keeping secrets but doesn't push him to reveal any. When she gets back to Hollywood, she finds out who he really is and stuff hits the fan. No spoilers so you have to read the book to see what happens. I enjoyed the book and as I said, will be reading the others in the series. I got a taste of Luther and Blaire at the end, so that one will be next ;).

Mia was in Hollywood to give herself 6 months to get into acting. She was at the lake because she was a fill in for her roommate on a zombie movie. She went out to the woods to go to the bathroom and the crew drove off without her. As it started to get dark she found a cabin and broke the pane so she could get inside. Soon she was joined by a man coming out of the water without clothes, and injured. Zander needed help. There was something about Zander what was he hiding? Was he dangerous? One thing was sure they had sizzling, steamy chemistry. Mia did trust Zander. Mia believed in Zander. What was going to happen? This was a great story with a lot of twists and turns, deceptions, and ah ha moments. In all of this, you still feel there is hope, There is love.

Lexi Hart’s One Wild Weekend series always provides a delightful distract from real life. It is hard to guess who Zander is and what happened to him before he meets Mia. His being mysterious is a sharp contrast to Mia, who is like an open book. Kind-hearted and full of dreams, she has strong ethics and is naïve to the Hollywood scene. She is seeing the best of everything, while Zander struggles to get out from under his father’s thumb. The plot is totally unpredictable. Zander and Mia are lovely characters, and I can’t help but feel for their pain and ache for their suffering, not to mention rooting for their reunion. I am so happy about the ending. I can't wait for the next story.

Mia is trying her hand at acting and gets left behind at a shoot in the middle of nowhere. The cabin nearby is owned by the producer’s stepfather so she heads over there. When she sees a naked Zander walking back from the lake injured, she helps him. They spend a wild weekend together and she keeps quiet about where he is as people are looking for him. When she gets back to Hollywood, rumors are flying about Zander. Who is her really? Are the rumors true or is there more to the story? I enjoyed this entertaining story. Another One Wild Weekend book in the series. This is Zander and Mia's story. Mia moves to LA ro become an actress, she gets the chance in a zombie film. However, she takes a few minutes to relieve herself in the trees and the crew clears out and leaves her behind. She finds a cabin to stay in and soon after arrives a wet, naked and injured Zander. Well now the weekend just took an interesting turn. I enjoyed reading this explosive story where the chemistry is high and the entanglements are steamy. Enjoy!

Not what I was hoping for.
I was intrigued and my interest piqued when I read the synopsis and saw the super hot cover.
The story line was unique. But the story dragged throughout. I definitely bought the angst between the H & h, but I never bought into the “falling for each other” connection. It seemed forced and just assumed. The intimate scenes were above average, but the overall book just lagged and then suddenly ended.
Not my favorite. But also not a miserable read either.

This was again a fantastic story.
I didn’t see it coming and wouldn’t have guessed what his profession was in the beginning of the book.
I really loved this love story between Mia and Zander! Their weekend at the lake house was sweet.
I couldn’t put this book, I needed to know what was going to happen.

This book is fantastic! Mia and Zander's story is a wild one full of lust, trouble and secrets. He is on the run from his past, trying to find a way out when he meets Mia. The two part but will eventually find themselves together again, where he will reveal to her not only the truth he was hiding, but the truth of how he feels about her.

This well written Book 5 in the Alpha Male Protectors, Opposites Attract, Accidental Romance and Steamy Action Adventures has great characters that are well crafted and have a great chemistry. This book and The One Wild Weekend Series has intrigue, danger, threats, and twists and turns. It is fast-paced and filled with sizzling heat. Must read

A superbly written, emotionally deep, well thought out, and exciting read! There is drama, action, lies, suspense, twist and turns, secrets, humour, surprises, and more that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are likeable and strong with amazing chemistry between them. Definitely recommended!

One Wild Weekend with Zander features Mia, who is attempting to become successful in Hollywood, and Zander, who she find hurt after being left on the filming site alone. She takes care of Zander and they end up staying at a cabin for the weekend at the filming location. This book has mystery, many unexpected twists, and steamy chemistry.

Eh!
This is one of those books that I double check and make sure i didn’t pay for a quarter of the way into it. Thankfully I didn’t. That knowledge did help me enjoy it a teeny bit more.
The whole story line is odd. How they meet. It’s never really explained in detail what she’s doing there besides Filming. Still unsure how she’s ever left behind. And that’s only the start of the oddness.

Mia and Zander have amazing chemistry but there is more than what meets the eye. They practically don't know each other but spend an amazing weekend together. It's after that the drama begins and I was enthralled and glued to my screen just waiting to see what would happen.

I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night.

I enjoyed this book. The first half was full of twists and turns that really built up the resolution in the second half of the book. These characters make you want to get to know them and want the best for them.
