I happened along Katie’s present store; Cedar and Loom in Canon City, CO and was intrigued. I thought I needed to go there to learn more about looms as I had recently decided I was ready to take my love of natural fibers in this direction. I happened by one day right as she had closed, and missed my chance to meet her - I thought. I went about a week of glorious vacation in the area but couldn’t get her shop off my mind. Saturday, my last day in the area, as I was finishing this book something over came me and I knew I needed to meet Katie. I called several times only for Doug to explain to me that she was out and he expected her back soon. I finally got her and she said, ‘come in’. My husband Mark and I went in. Not sure why I was there, she and I walked her new puppy Prairie Rose across the street to potty, and sat on a stone wall (my idea of a perfect throne), and chatted. I could feel her vividly. I knew she could ‘feel’ me as well. She told me things she could see in me, all accurate, if not complete. After reading this book and spending time with her, I knew I had just met someone that I shared many experiences, truths, lessons, loves with. I knew she is very gifted and special. I will readily admit, I wished I didn’t live so far from her because I knew we could be very dear friends.
Read this book! If you’re ever in Canon City, visit her store. But even if you never meet her, thank the heavens that we have been gifted with special angels on this earth, that will give of themselves and share with those they run across. And if you will please, whatever your personal gifts are, please share them with the universe. ❤️
